About: I’ve been dog walking/sitting for about 2-3 years now informally back in New York, just moved to the Bethesda area so I signed up for this app to be able to continue doing so. I have no formal training, but growing up on a farm I have a deep appreciation for animals! I’m currently unemployed, so I can take care of dogs during the day or in the evening. I feed my Millie at 5:30 am sharp, so I am available anytime after that. My Millie is quite picky, so I am very used to any unusual rules you may have for you animals. I am very protective and cautious with animals!
“Monica did a home sit with our senior dog for a week.He can be skittish and we could see in the photos she sent that within a day or two he was very comfortable with her. She also collected our mail and feed the fish in our pond. The house was spotless when we returned. She had good questions about Buddy's needs in our initial meeting that showed she cared about the assignment. We plan to book Monica again in the future and highly recommend her.”

Carly was great - my 2 dogs quickly became obsessed with her and she really seemed to enjoy them and took great care of them. She was great about sending me regular updates and photos, which I loved receiving. She was very respectful of my home and left it very tidy. I will definitely be using her again.
Livvy was super conscientious. She asked good questions at the onset about our pets schedule, needs and preferences. We heard from her throughout her stay with our 13 y.o. dog with photos and updates. We didn’t worry a minute and could fully enjoy our vacation. She even cleaned so we came home to a house better than we left it!
Faustine was amazing. She and her adorable dog Ginger came to housesit for a week, and took excellent care of our Golden Retriever and of the house. She took the dogs for long walks, provided daily updates and photos, and left the house immaculate. She's affectionate with dogs, responsible, trustworthy, and a really nice person. She's our new favorite and we'll definitely be using her again!
Kayla did a great job with my older dog, keeping her happy and well-looked after for the week I was gone.She was great with sending me updates and pictures. When she had something come up at the very end of the week, she let me know and make sure that my dog had someone to watch her for the last 24 hours.
Monique was the best dog sitter I’ve found in a long time! She was very communicative and went above and beyond while taking care of my senior dog. She’s also extremely clean and considerate when taking care of one’s home. Since my dog is leash reactive and takes daily medications, it’s been hard to find someone who is trustworthy and responsive. We are so lucky to have found a sitter who is flexible and nearby. I would rebook with Monique every single time!
John has taken care of our two rescue poodles several times, and we (and they) adore him. He is thoughtful, sensitive, and authentic, with great communication. My husband and I have been able to travel in our retirement without worrying about the girls, knowing that John is caring for them. He is dependable, honest, and seems to truly enjoy them as well. They have anxiety issues, but John has won their trust, and while they are happy to see us when we come home, you can tell that they have had a good time with him. We like to check if he’s available before booking our tickets! (He also takes great care of the house!)
Summar is warm, patient, and clearly a natural with animals. She understood our sometimes quirky dog, sent regular updates and photos, and handled everything with calm, reliable confidence including when our alarm randomly went off and the housekeepers showed up unexpectedly (she also speaks Spanish!). We never once worried while she was with Oz and we will be asking her back again and again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter.
Tiedra was the best with taking care of our puppy Millie. We last minute needed help for a weekend and with having a puppy we were nervous about being able to get some help and Tiedra was just amazing. Our flights got cancelled coming home and she was able to spend an extra night with Millie which made a stressful situation much better knowing our pup was still in good hands. Tiedra sent so many good pictures and updates and I was never worried. If you need a puppy/dog sitter she’s your girl!
