“Erica did a great job with our dogs, cat, and chickens. Stayed at our house for a week and was a very considerate house sitter. We’ll be calling her in the future.”

“Karachi took outstanding care of my two pups in my home while we were away. She sent regular updates with adorable pics and videos, which put my mind at ease that all was well. One of my dogs was getting over an ear infection and she dutifully administered his meds and ear wash. Not only did we return home to happy dogs, but Karachi left the house spotlessly clean. We will definitely plan to book again with Karachi and would recommend her completely!”

“Kymberlee is wonderful and was so attentive with our two big dogs and two cats. We received updates and silly photos of the animals. Even though we had to change plans due to the snowstorm, she stayed flexible and kept us updated about everything. We would highly recommend her!”

“Erin’s taken great care of my cat a few times now and can’t recommend her enough! She’s super responsive and really great with my cat (who needs a lot more attention than the usual cat). Thanks so much again!”

“Nicole was awesome! She took the time to get to know Murray and his care schedule and was incredibly thorough and detail oriented. She sent lots of updates and he always seemed very happy! We’ll definitely use Nicole again!”

“Halle was wonderful when I needed a last minute sitter for my dog who is working on his separation anxiety training. Halle was attentive and kind and accommodating!! My dog loves her!”

“Salma was so incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive! I get nervous to leave our cats but she couldn’t have been a more perfect house and cat sitter. We are so lucky she could watch them on such short notice and will absolutely be asking her to return!”

“Lauren was very communicative, left the apartment extremely clean, followed instructions, and took good care of our dog. When our trip got extended by a few hours, Lauren was very understanding and accommodating of staying with our dog a bit longer to close the gap. My neighbor also reached out saying that she saw Lauren with our dog in the hallway of our building and that she was doing a great job with her. Overall, we would definitely hire Lauren again!”

About: From my childhood days of caring for my beloved dogs Shadow and Mittens (and Charlie the cat) to my more recent role as dog foster for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and Laila's Legacy, I love caring for man's best friend. I am the guy at the party who would rather hang out with pets than people and in our circle of friends, I am the designated dog sitter and walker whenever the need arises. I work from home, so I have the flexibility during the week to drop in for visits and dog walking. My work schedule typically allows for me to adapt to what your schedule calls for. I am open to overnight stays on a case by case basis. Please send me a message with details and I'll figure out if I am available. I have a good deal of experience walking dogs, including reactive dogs. Taking care of foster dogs, often fresh from shelters, I've grown used to handling dogs with various behavioral issues and fears, keeping them away from triggers.
“Really appreciate Jared's attention to detail. Our pets have a somewhat complicated feeding schedule! Communication level was great and gave us peace of mind while we were away.”

“Jocabet is a life saver! I just got a puppy and had a set sitter but they canceled last minute. This was my first time using the app and she was so responsive and helpful! She is very kind and my puppy enjoyed interacting with her. Will definitely be booking her in the future.”

“Caris did an amazing job taking care of our 2 pups in our home . She was highly communicative with updates and photos . I felt totally reassured that our girls were in very good hands. Highly recommend .”

“Gabs did a great job with my pup, Lula Mae. Lu was well cared for and I got great communications & updates. Gabs also left our home spotless, which was much appreciated when I got home from my trip! We look forward to booking with Gabs again in future!”

“Shamaurie was absolutely amazing! Shamaurie gave our dog Laycee constant attention and was supper communicative. We received multiple pictures and videos through the stay as well as written updates. We would highly recommend using Shamaurie.”

“Nick quickly responded when I reached out. We met ahead of time and he was great with my dog. He sent me daily photos while taking care of my dog. My dog was happy and well cared for while I was away and my house was left in good shape. I will definitely use Nick again.”
“Savina did a great job with our dog Rosie! Rosie has pretty intense separation anxiety and Savina was super understanding and gave us great, detailed updates and pictures throughout our trip.”

Brightwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer took impeccable care of our beagles Meadow and Biscuit! She was super response/communicative, and we felt like our pups (and home!) were in amazing hands from the get-go. We could not recommend her more, and will absolutely be reaching out in the future when we need a sitter. Thanks so much Jennifer!!

We so enjoyed having Miaki stay with Goose and Roo while we were out of town. Miaki is very communicative and thorough - we appreciated that she came by to meet the dogs beforehand and proactively asked questions to ensure that the dogs would be well taken care of in our absence. Miaki sent daily updates throughout our trip, and we can home to very happy dogs. We look forward to Miaki’s next visit and are sure our dogs will be excited to see her too.
I have a husky that is very outgoing but has a bad case of separation anxiety and Katie knew exactly how to handle it during our house sitting! She was great at depicting his personality and handling him in a situation where a bunch of kids ran up to him to say hi. She kept my place spotless and kept me updated with the perfect amount of cute pictures of my pup! 10/10 would recommend!

Nakia stayed with our pup (and our house) for two weeks. She is outstanding -- she really attended to our girl and took her on her favorite outings, and sent detailed updates and photos. She made our trip fantastically low-stress and I would absolutely recommend her.

I am so lucky to have found Lauren. She is so good with my dog who has a lot of separation anxiety but he quickly warmed up to her wonderful personality and is so comfortable with her. I can’t praise her enough. She always keeps me updated and will continue to be our #1 go to :)

Halle took such great care of our active pup and home while we were on an extended trip. She made sure to send us daily updates and photos and took extra care when he had a stomach bug during her stay. We felt so at ease knowing she was caring for him so well. Highly recommend.
