Hey busy pet parents! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 8 years of combined animal shelter and dog walking experience. I'm currently the proud owner of one senior kitty, and have almost always owned dogs. As someone who has worked with many dogs and cats with varying degrees of energy, excitability and anxiety, I hope to do everything in my toolbelt to keep things as lively, entertaining and cozy for them as possible while their human is away. My approach is positive-reinforcement based and minimally intrusive. I prefer not to force an interaction with pets that need time to get to know me; I let them come to me on their own terms. ~I am comfortable taking care of small animals and certain exotics. (I’m a former rabbit mom.) ~If you have a pet with more challenging behaviors, please don’t hesitate to message me about it. Let’s discuss if care is possible and how I can best offer support to your pet. ~I am comfortable administering medications, whether they are oral, nasal, ocular, aural (ear) or subcutaneous injectable. ~If you need your plants watered or your mail brought in, just let me know! I’ve got some 20-something house plants at home that I’ve managed to keep healthy. I believe that pets deserve the very best and refuse to offer anything less. Since I have a cat at home, I will be restricted to in-home stays and drop-ins. Your dog/cat will receive regular walks, potty breaks, and playtime.

Jayne watched our two dogs for three nights while we were out of town. One of our dogs is anxious and takes some time to warm up to new people but Jayne didn’t bat an eye during the meet and greet. It’s clear she has experience handling a wide variety of temperaments and Winnie warmed up to her quickly. We came home to two very happy dogs and a clean house. Grateful to have found a trustworthy person who seems to enjoy connecting with a variety of doggy personalities.

This is the second time we had Jayne stay with our dogs and once again everything went very smoothly! It's so great not to have to worry while we are away! The pups were happy and the house was clean upon our return- thank you Jayne!
I have two dogs who have behavioral issues (one is wary of new people and very anxious and both have dog aggression), so I'm always nervous when we meet a new sitter. When we met Jayne, my fears were immediately gone. She was great with them, very knowledgable about dog behavior and a calming presence- she is a true professional, not just a "dog lover" (which would be fine for someone with very easy going dogs!). She stayed at our house for two nights while we visited family. She kept us updated and sent pictures too. Normally I'm very anxious when away, but I felt I didn't have to worry at all with Jayne there. When we returned the dogs were happy and healthy and the house was exactly as we had left it. I'm so happy to have found Jayne and I will definitely book her again!
Jayne was fantastic. Very patient with our rescue dog that is a handful during the first meeting. Had great piece of mind knowing Jayne was taking great care of my two dogs. Will definetely use Jayne's services a great deal moving forward.

I work part-time in my other industries, and currently have plenty of free time. If you book me, rest assured that window of time will be fully committed to your pet.
