About: Growing up in Arkansas, I had all types of animals, ranging from large dogs to small chinchillas. Currently, I’m the owner of two cats — and I love animals. Looking forward to helping you take care of yours! I currently work full time Monday through Friday, but I would love to spend time with your pet on the weekends! My availability on weekends is super flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate any needs. I currently live in an apartment, where I do not host any pets. However, I’m happy to stop by or stay at your home to take care of pets! I also love walking around the city, so dog walking is the perfect side hustle for me!

About: I was the neighborhood dog walker throughout my teens. I cared for my elderly dog during the end of his lovely life. I watch cats and house sit with cats frequently. I work a standard 9-5 Monday through Friday, but have flexibility to work remote. If your pet is well behaved I also have the flexibility to bring your dog to work! I’m available to dog sit and dog walk on the weekends. I’m also available to dog walk before 8am or after 6pm on weekdays. If it works with a pets schedule/routine I am also able to dog sit during the week, but will be at work between 9am-5pm. I have a fenced yard and a pet friendly home, but I feel more comfortable visiting and watching a dog at their home. A pets safety and wellbeing is my top priority.

“Noah did a fantastic job caring for my cats over the holidays; an American Shorthair and a Sphinx. He sent pictures for each visit. Our Sphynx is very friendly, but our Shorthair is typically scared of new people. She was sitting on Noah's knee in one of the pictures!”

About: I grew up with two cats and a dog and fostered over 25 puppies and adult dogs throughout my childhood. I have spent many weekends working on local farms to support their animal caretaking. One of my favorite experiences is volunteering at a farm in VA that houses animals with disabilities! I work full time so am usually available after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays so those days allow for more flexibility. My priority is to always make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe! I make sure to approach any animal with caution and allow them to get comfortable with me before proceeding.

“Marilyn was a wonderful cat sitter. She was very thorough in making sure she knew where everything was and what needed to be done ahead of time. She came at the scheduled times, fed them per my instructions, and pilled the cat that needed medication. She sent plenty of photos of the kitties and gave me a detailed update of how things were going, and spent plenty of time with them. I really appreciate how wonderful she did taking care of my three kitties. I would not hesitate to have her come again.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 8 and have become the go-to pet sitter for friends over the years. I know every dog has their own quirks, comfort needs, and energy level, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know them. My goal is simple: keep your dog happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible part-time job that only requires me to be in the office for a few hours one day a week, which gives me plenty of availability to be home with pets for most—if not all—of the day. About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 12 - I’m new to Rover, but have spent the last 6 years dog sitting (for just a day to multiple weeks at a time) for coworkers and friends. Decided to sign up because I’d like to do it more often! I work full time and in person, so I’m available Fridays from 5pm on and throughout the weekends. Taking a weekend trip or need a break? I’m your girl! My space: I live in a two bed room apartment with plenty of space. While I don’t have a yard, I love to walk and live right next to meridian hill park and not too far from rock creek park. I have no pets of my own, so all of my attention will be making sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and attended for! In your space: You tell me what you need and I’ll make it happen. I’m respectful of others spaces and have been trusted to do prolonged dog sitting stays and have never run into any issues!

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and they’ve always been a huge part of my life! I had two big pups to play with and grow up with and every member of my family had some kind of fur baby, whether it was a tiny little pup, a big fluffy dog or the sweetest cat. Being around so many different pets helped me learn their different personalities and needs from an early age :) When I was about 11, my mom started walking dogs in her free time as part of her wellness journey and I was lucky enough to join her. That’s when I first discovered how much I enjoy dog walking and caring for pets. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, my sister and my two aunts do, ranging from a playful chocolate pitty to an adorable teacup poodle, so I’m still surrounded by pups regularly. At home, I have three cats that I absolutely adore!! They truly mean the world to me and are a big part of who I am. Caring for animals isn’t just something I’ve done, it’s something I genuinely love & enjoy. I can’t wait to meet and care for even more amazing fur babies! 🐾 I am a full time student at Montgomery College as a psychology & surgical tech major! I’m at the silver spring campus and live near by and have a decent amount of time through my weekdays! My kitty babies roam freely as they are all pretty mature! I try to play and entertain for 30 mins a day but sometimes it’s 15 a day, I feed them twice a day wet food only!
