About: I worked with dogs and cats of multiple breeds, ages, etc. at Toronto Humane Society for 5+ years. I currently have a 8 year old cockapoo and 6 year old husky/American bulldog mix, so I am experienced with dogs of varying sizes. I work from home most days. I go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but can go home to walk your puppy during my lunch! On weekends, I usually only go out bc of about 2 hours for my dance class. I like to gauge the pets' energy level and go from there. Happy to simply keep them company while sitting, but also very much eager to take your dog out for an adventure! I like to get a lot of steps in so am up for long walks. I live in an apartment and cannot board dogs that are super vocal due to potential noise complaints. I usually host two dogs in my home at once, and cannot accept reactive dogs for safety reasons.

About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.
