When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat them with respect, attention to detail, and lots of love! Here’s what you can expect: Routine: I stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime. Familiar routines help pets feel safe and relaxed. Personalized Care: Every pet has their own quirks and preferences. Whether your cat loves quiet window time or your dog needs extra cuddles during storms, I pay close attention to their individual needs and moods. Security: I’m careful and respectful in your home, including turning off lights, locking door, watering plants, or bringing in mail if requested. Cleanliness: I keep pet areas clean whether it's the litter box, food/water bowls, and bedding. I will always alert you if anything seems off like a missed meal. Updates: I’ll keep you in the loop with daily updates, photos, or messages so you know your pet is doing great and your home is in good hands.

A typical day
I love to play fetch with dogs in the park and going for long walks and offering treats to reward them as need be. My go to toys are frisbees and balls depending on the size of my pet friends and I always make sure they stay hydrated. For cats, the wand is typically popular and treat puzzles can be fun too.

Hello fellow pet lover! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, fish, turtles, tortoises and plants. I have worked with many animals and am happy to walk, feed, play with and care for your pet(s). I grew up on a farm with dogs, birds (parakeets and hens) and cats so I am comfortable with a wide range of animal care. Of course each pet is unique, I will therefore adapt my services to your pet's individual care needs and routine, whether it be medications or allergies. I am available for overnight stays to care for, walk/hike and love your fur baby while you're away. I often care for dogs in their own homes while their owners are away in order to prevent them for having to spend days on end at boarding facilities or kennels. I am happy to work with you to create a plan based on their specific needs and your desires. I am an energetic and reliable librarian with a flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your pets! Salma was very kind and thoughtful, and she took great care of our cat Annie for the weekend. She left detailed notes and took lots of cute pictures of our cat. She even left us a delicious baked treat after noticing that my wife likes to bake. We will definitely work with Salma again in the future!
I cant say enough good things about Salma. She went completely above and beyond in everything she did - we received fantastic daily updates with photos, she monitored our two cats as they got to know each other, and our home is absolutely twice as clean as when we left it. Truly the best pet sitter and housesitter I’ve ever hired. Leaving my cats for two weeks was stressful but Salma gave us the best peace of mind we could ask for. I can’t recommend her more. Truly a gem!!

Salma was amazing and so attentive to my kitty. My cat is rather shy, but felt so comfortable and came out of her shell easily for Salma. Salma is also very communicative and leaves delightful updates. Of course I highly recommend her!
