Hello fellow pet lover! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, fish, turtles, tortoises and plants. I have worked with many animals and am happy to walk, feed, play with and care for your pet(s). I grew up on a farm with dogs, birds (parakeets and hens) and cats so I am comfortable with a wide range of animal care. Of course each pet is unique, I will therefore adapt my services to your pet's individual care needs and routine, whether it be medications or allergies. I am available for overnight stays to care for, walk/hike and love your fur baby while you're away. I often care for dogs in their own homes while their owners are away in order to prevent them for having to spend days on end at boarding facilities or kennels. I am happy to work with you to create a plan based on their specific needs and your desires. I am an energetic and reliable librarian with a flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your pets! When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat them with respect, attention to detail, and lots of love! Here’s what you can expect: Routine: I stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime. Familiar routines help pets feel safe and relaxed. Personalized Care: Every pet has their own quirks and preferences. Whether your cat loves quiet window time or your dog needs extra cuddles during storms, I pay close attention to their individual needs and moods. Security: I’m careful and respectful in your home, including turning off lights, locking door, watering plants, or bringing in mail if requested. Cleanliness: I keep pet areas clean whether it's the litter box, food/water bowls, and bedding. I will always alert you if anything seems off like a missed meal. Updates: I’ll keep you in the loop with daily updates, photos, or messages so you know your pet is doing great and your home is in good hands.

Salma responded to my short-notice request quickly, which I greatly appreciated as it was for only a few days of dog-walking. I'd had some surgery on my leg and it was difficult to walk for the first few days. Salma came three times daily and was very kind and patient with my elderly dog. I would not hesitate to hire her again.
Salma is the best! She’s so caring and thoughtful. She took care of our senior cat who needed a little extra love and gave her medication. She also gave that same love to our apartment and plants :) she was a wonderful house and kitty sitter
Salma watched our two cats while we were away for an extended period. She left our home cleaner than we had left it. She sent us thoughtful and detailed updates with pictures. And she followed our instructions carefully. We were so relieved to have found a trustworthy and reliable sitter. Our cats are going to miss her!

Salma was very easy to work with and was so caring and thoughtful with our two cats! She also watered our plants and took care of packages that arrived while we were away. We felt completely comfortable leaving our pets in her care while on an extended trip and would definitely work with her again.
Salma is so so so incredibly kind and easy to work with. I am incredibly anxious when it comes to leaving my pets and seeing how happy Monty & Wendy looks in their pictures really makes leaving less terrible. She is very communicative as well!
