Hello fellow pet lover! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, fish, turtles, tortoises and plants. I have worked with many animals and am happy to walk, feed, play with and care for your pet(s). I grew up on a farm with dogs, birds (parakeets and hens) and cats so I am comfortable with a wide range of animal care. Of course each pet is unique, I will therefore adapt my services to your pet's individual care needs and routine, whether it be medications or allergies. I am available for overnight stays to care for, walk/hike and love your fur baby while you're away. I often care for dogs in their own homes while their owners are away in order to prevent them for having to spend days on end at boarding facilities or kennels. I am happy to work with you to create a plan based on their specific needs and your desires. I am an energetic and reliable librarian with a flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your pets! Here’s what you can expect: Routine: I stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime. Familiar routines help pets feel safe and relaxed. Personalized Care: Every pet has their own quirks and preferences. Whether your cat loves quiet window time or your dog needs extra cuddles during storms, I pay close attention to their individual needs and moods. Security: I’m careful and respectful in your home, including turning off lights, locking door, watering plants, or bringing in mail if requested. Cleanliness: I keep pet areas clean whether it's the litter box, food/water bowls, and bedding. I will always alert you if anything seems off like a missed meal. Updates: I’ll keep you in the loop with daily updates, photos, or messages so you know your pet is doing great and your home is in good hands.

Salma was amazing!! So responsive and attentive to the cats’ needs over my vacation that I felt entirely comfortable. She alerted me to even little issues and was so helpful in keeping their food, tools, and the house tidy. My best Rover experience to date!
Salma was such an amazing cat sitter! She precisely followed my care instructions, sent tons of photos of my cat, and kept me updated while I was away. And she left my apartment cleaner than it was when I left. I would definitely contact her to cat sit again!
Salma just had a magic touch with my cats. She is so thorough in her questions. She flagged even the slightest issue like a leaky water fountain right away. And she was kind enough to add an extra day to her visit when my flight got in late, and my cats were all the more delighted to have some extra time with her. She’ll be in my regular sitter rotation!
My first time having Salma cat sit was easy and reliable. Salma was very thoughtful at each step and I really appreciate the care taken to ensure all the pet sitting needs were well understood. She took time to play and made sure my got human interaction, and went above and beyond with taking my trash out without me even asking. Highly recommend and will work with her again!
