1. Ashley T.

“My cat absolutely loves Ashley and is already so comfortable around her! Ashley always makes sure to spend time with Max when she comes by and always follows the instructions I give her. I highly recommend!”

2. Luisa C.

“Luisa was amazing! She took great care of my cat and went above and beyond to make sure he had everything he needed. My cat seemed to like her quite a bit!”

3. Gabrielle B.

“Gabby did really well with my cat Sydney. She gave him great attention, played with him when he had the zoomies, and was attentive to any potential health issues. I recommend her!”

4. Anna S.

“Anna has been taking care of my new rescue dog since the second day I took him home, and he immediately took to her. She takes him on long walks that give him lots of fresh air and exercise, and always checks in to let me know how Ziggy did on his walks and drop ins. I also felt instantly comfortable with her and was easily able to put my trust in her.”

5. Elizabeth L.

“Elizabeth was extremely punctual and communicative. When Buster had digestive issues, she quickly informed me of what it happened and took care to make sure he was OK. 10 out of 10 would book again”

6. Juliet L.

“Julie Landeros is conscientious young woman. Julie was raised with pets in the household and did her fair share of dog walking, dog baths and nurturing of the family pet. Julie has been raising her own dog whom she adopted when he was just weeks old. She sees this pet (Romeo) as a family member and never neglects his need for food, water, walks and play. She would make an excellent dog sitter as she has had 20 plus years around pets and knows the expectations involved in caring for animals.”

7. Daria R.

“Daria took fantastic care of our little boy for his first extended at-home stay. She was always prompt with excellent communication. I got daily photos (and some videos). My kitty was always excited to see her. I’ll definitely be booking with Daria again for our next adventure! Thank you SO much, Daria!”

9. Abby Q.

“Abigail did a great job during a drop in visit for my cat Gin. She communicated before during and after the visit and followed all instructions perfectly. Even during a slight issue with accessing my unit she continued on with the visit and was able to troubleshoot.”

10. Emma B.

“This was my first time booking Emma but won't be my last. She took great care of my kitties while I was out of town. She did great with Fitz who has strong boundaries and is a smidge skittish, and played with Lizzie and her favorite toy. My kitties were super chill when I came home.”

11. Karin L.

“Thank you, Karin! I appreciated the prompt and clear communication, timely visits, and following all instructions. You helped me relax more while away from my little furry companion. 10/10”

12. Jeremy E.
“Jeremy is a dog lover thru and thru. I've asked him to look after my two dogs (who can be a lot to handle) and he has always done a great job, and they absolutely love having him around. If you're looking for a sitter or walker who will do a great job and care for your pet as if they're his own, Jeremy is your guy.”

13. Victoria R.

“Victoria was a wonderful caretaker for our dog. We received great photos and updates while we were away. We will definitely have Victoria take care of Annie again.”

14. Alexis S.

“Alexis was fantastic! She was a natural with our dog and showed a lot of love and care for him. We fully trusted her while we were away and happily recommend her now.”

15. Ann F.

“Ann did an amazing job with my dog Aurora! I asked her last minute if she could do some drop by visits and she was able to work it perfectly within her schedule. During the visits, she made sure to send me photos and keep me updated! I will def be asking for her again!”

16. Christine A.

“I’m pretty sure that my cat likes Christine more than she likes me, and I’m okay with that. We feel so comfortable leaving our cat with her, and she is our go to sitter. Christine is extremely professional and I feel safe knowing she is watching my fur baby. Our cat has asthma and Christine sends us updates on her breathing and is more knowledgeable that any sitter out there. She sends the best rover cards that make being away from my cat much easier. Thank you Christine!”

17. Brittani H.

“Brittani is awesome and took amazing care of our baby Corduroy while we were away! She is super responsive and thorough with her visits and reports. We will certainly have her again!”

18. Lily B.

“Lily is the best. We always have her pop over to hang out with our two elderly cats and they are in love with her. She is so calm and patient with them. Highly recommend her with your pets!!”

19. Anindita M.

“We had Anindita caring for our 5 year old cat for about a week. Our cat was very happy and calm and never seemed stressed at all. She warmed up to Anindita very quickly which was shocking as she’s typically very anxious and scared of strangers. We were able to enjoy our trip without worrying too much about how our cat was doing because we knew she was in good hands! Anindita is extremely responsible, caring, communicative (sharing updates and pictures!), and kind. I would strongly recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs!”

20. Johanna B.
About: Words can't express how much I've loved being a pet parent and loved caring for others' pets. I've had the joy of raising my 17-year-old cat from kittenhood; raising my bulldog, who I miss dearly, from puppyhood; and taking in our alley cat to give her a safe and warm last 2 years of life. I grew up with pets (cats, dogs, and birds) in the home, and in addition to my own, I've enjoyed years of professional experience caring for others' pets. I was a professional boarder in 2008, a professional dog walker and pet sitter from 2014 to 2017, and managed a local dog walking and pet sitting company from 2015 to 2017. I'm not a certified dog trainer, but working alongside trainers has given me some skills that help pets have a positive experience away from their people. I am available for overnight boarding in my home, daycare in my home, overnight house sitting in your metro-accessible home, and drop-in visits and dog walks if you are close to my neighborhood (e.g. Forest Hills, North Cleveland Park, Tenleytown, Wakefield). I work from home, so I can keep your pet's routine consistent. I am able to provide baths upon request and I'm comfortable giving most types of medication. I know how difficult it can be to be apart from pets and to feel assured that their specific needs are met, so it is my habit to share regular photos and updates. I work from home, so I'm able to keep your pet's routine consistent. This includes meal and medication timing, timing and frequency of potty breaks, longer walks for dogs who need extra exercise, and helping to maintain house training in progress. Pets are allowed on furniture in my home, but I'm also happy to crate dogs if you prefer and enforce any no-furniture rules you may have at home and want to keep consistent. I live in a spacious 1-bedroom apartment close to Rock Creek Park, great for longer walks. The neighborhood between my building and Rock Creek Park is quiet with not much traffic.
