About: Hi! My name is Selby and I love spending time with and meeting new dogs. Many friends, family, and colleagues have trusted me to watch their dogs, which have involved learning the dogs’ schedules and routines, and providing different walk routes and styles for a variety of pups. I love walking dogs, and feel that it’s a great way for them to get exercise and sniff the world around them. I have a large apartment space on a first floor, making it accessible for a variety of dogs. I live in a nice, walkable neighborhood with plenty of free space for dogs to run around (if they would like to). Ultimately, I love spending time with dogs and I would love to opportunity to get to know yours! I am currently working full time, but I am free weekends and weekdays after 3:30 pm. I love taking walks after work, and I usually spend my time at home in the evenings, giving me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I have a first floor apartment with lots of floor space and windows to look out of. I am surrounded my plenty of parks and green space for your pet to enjoy. I have two AC units that keep the space cool during hot summer months. I am an extremely organized person who works well with a schedule, and will make sure to prioritize your pet throughout the day and with general care and feeding. I have lots of places in my home for pets to sleep and relax.

My clef pallet pup, Daisy, has taught me that patience can lead to happiness and learning with all kinds of dogs. As a recent high school graduate, I am available all summer to care for your furry friends. As I prepare for college, I am building my savings to have a successful first year! Growing up, I have had dogs of different sizes, from teacup size to 50+ pounds. Not only do I have experience with tricky behavioral dogs, but also pups with disabilities, such as clef pallets.

For dogs, I will only consider bringing them to my house on very rare occasions — and only after I’ve gotten to know the dog well and we both agree it’s the right fit. All cat care happens exclusively in your home. In your home, I follow your exact routines for feeding, walks (for dogs), playtime, litter box care, medications, and more. I’m very mindful about safety: keeping doors and windows locked, using secure leashes when needed, and treating your space with complete respect. As a retired Special Education teacher, I’m patient, observant, and highly responsible. I treat every pet and every home with the care they deserve. You can trust that your furry family member will be in safe, loving hands.

About: I’ve been caring for my family’s dogs since I was around 16. When I moved away from home, I started to miss the daily joy of being around dogs, which is what brought me to Rover. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and different temperaments, including rescue dogs. A dog lover since childhood, I would love to support you and your pets’ needs: I will treat them like my own 😊 I’m free weekends and evenings! Starting late August, my schedule will be more flexible as I am starting grad school, so I will have more daytime availability. I’ve watched pets in a variety of home and apartment environments and will adapt to whatever details you provide for me! About: Growing up I help take care of just about every indoor pet you can think of. Taking the time to make an animal feel safe is my specialty. My favorite way to spend time with pets is outdoor training and desensitizing 🙌 I work part time and am generally flexible for hours during the week. I am especially available for early morning and daytime visits M-F. Weekends I’m happy to do overnights and potty breaks every couple hours. Happy to be the disciplinarian or the fun playtime aunt! However your pet feels safe I will accommodate and take as much time as needed to provide for them in your home.

About: I've had pets most of my life, more recently exclusively cats. My cats wouldn't get along with dogs and I miss being around them, so I'm looking to scratch that itch by getting involved with dog walking and in-home care. I have plenty of experience handling both young and old pets, administering medications, and providing round-the-clock care for both pets and people during multiple serious health crises.
