About: When I was 16 I was given the choice between getting a dog or a car… and chose a dog. I always have had a love for dogs, whether it’s having my own or being able to be around others. Growing up I had an English Bulldog that I adored. After I moved to DC, my roommate and I fostered a dog from the Humane Rescue Alliance and she was recently adopted! We had her for 4-5 months, and she was an absolute joy to have. She was found on the streets of DC, so I had to work with her on some things like walking on a leash and getting her basic commands down. Now that we don’t have her anymore, I would love to take care of others dogs! I work a sales job, so my weeks are pretty flexible. I have fully remote Mondays and Fridays so those are usually the best days for me to help out during the week, as well as the weekends. I live in a townhouse very close to meridian hill park and would love to take a dog on walks/to the park to play or just hangout!

She even tidied around the house (unprompted!) and helped coordinate exchanging of keys since we only had one set available! About: I grew up with a loving (and clingly) yellow lab in the house. If you couldn't tell from my photo gallery, he's sort of the center of my universe. Over weekends, while my parents were out of town, I would be in charge of taking care of him: taking him out, feeding him, walking him, putting him to bed, and giving him the attention he deserves. I still watch my dog while my parents are away or if he needs to visit Washington, D.C., and I have pet-sat for friends and colleagues from school. I've accrued six months of experience pet-sitting as an in-house sitter. I love hanging out with animals, so I am excited to befriend your pet! I currently work part-time in the evenings, so I will be able to make plenty of time with your pet! I have a flexible schedule that I can accommodate to you and your pet's needs. I will always coordinate with your schedule before leaving the house for an extended period of time. I am mindful of both the pets and the home in which I'm staying for the duration of my care.
