About: Hello! I have been a regular pet-sitter, mostly for dogs, for 5 years. I am a patient, conscientious caregiver who loves to play, take walks, and cuddle with pets of any breed, size, and personality :) I am currently pursuing my masters degree during the evening at American University, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I am more than happy to pop into your home for quick dog walks, provide more intensive care like overnight/weekend sitting, and care for your pet like it's my own! I only have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30-8:00 pm, and can absolutely work around these commitments. I am a very hands-on, responsible petsitter who has experience working with dogs and cats that require a lot of attention and also have medical needs. I am comfortable administering medication to pets and caring for more than one pet as well. Fostering comfort, happiness, and your pet's wellbeing is what I pride myself on!

About: I will treat your pets as if they are my own! I grew up in house full of dogs and cats and have always loved animals. I love learning individual pet personalities. I’m detailed oriented and love giving pets and cuddles. I will carefully follow any and all instructions provided and ensure your pet is safe and happy while you are away! I also love to send updates and photos. I mostly work from home so I have a flexible schedule. Happy to make multiple daily house calls, or spend the night with your pet(s). My care depends on the individual animal and their needs. I’m happy to follow any and all instructions left for me. I think it’s best to keep pets in the environment and with the schedule they are most comfortable with. And so you never have to worry, I send regular photos and updates!

About: I spent my childhood taking care of my childhood pets and neighborhood pets as well. I’m completely comfortable with animals and would love to have fun with your pets! I love going on walks, keeping pets active and engaged, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. I am a senior at American University, so my availability is fairly open. I am available on Saturdays all day. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I am unavailable from 2pm to 7pm. However, I am available during other times on those weekdays. I am unavailable from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesdays, but free other times on Wednesdays. I have experience house-sitting and cleaning homes, so I know the importance of respecting someone else’s space. I feel confident that I can care for pets and assure owners that their pets and homes will be safe and intact.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats & birds all my life, I love to take the dogs out for a walk and be at home with the cats & birds. I recently retired so I will be happy to take of your companions when you need, I am young at heart and love going out for long walks with dogs. NB. In November 2022 I will be happy to stay at your home full time to look after your companions. As of December 2022 I will only be keeping pets at my home in Burleith, or visiting them at your home if it is in my neighborhood. I do not have a fence around my garden, but I will take them for long walks if they like the outdoors, otherwise we will stay at home.

Your pet will get consistent routines, plenty of attention, and someone who treats them like their own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm based in the [Washington, DC] area and typically have [mornings and evenings / flexible weekday] availability for walks and drop-ins, with more flexibility on weekends for boarding or longer sits. I build a consistent routine around each pet's normal schedule, feeding times, walk times, and downtime, so there's minimal disruption to what they're used to. Whether I'm in my own home or a client's home, safety and comfort come first. I keep a close eye on pets at all times, follow any feeding, medication, or routine instructions exactly as given, and make sure spaces are secure (leashed walks, safe yards, doors and gates checked). In my own home, pets have a calm, comfortable space to settle in, away from hazards, with fresh water always available. I communicate regularly with owners, photo updates and check-ins, so they always know their pet is safe and happy.

About: Hi! My name is Meera and I am 23-years-old. I grew up with four sweet dogs including a German shepherd, a Bull Mastiff, a Belgian Malinois, a terrier, and a golden doodle. As an adult I’m the proud owner of an 8 lb chihuahua! I have the best of both worlds in terms of large breeds and small breeds. Given that I grew up with five very different dog breeds and their personalities, I understand every dog has their own unique needs. Some dogs are very family-oriented and are wary of strangers whereas other dogs are friendly with everyone they meet! Some dogs need more exercise whereas some dogs need less. Regardless of what your dog needs, my number one priority is to provide the best walking experience your dog can have to ensure the dog's and your happiness! I an a grad student and have a free schedule for the summer! Other days can be discussed. I am available for dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits, and more. I ready to care for your dog in the comfort of their home according to your instructions. I will tailor my care to the owner’s and pet's individual needs. Highly flexible.

About: I have a pet Russian tortoise who requires special care and delicate handling that's more involved than, say, walking and feeding a dog or taking care of a cat. I have a pretty flexible schedule both this summer and into the fall. Pet care can easily be scheduled around my summer job and college classes. I make sure pets, my own and others that I've been responsible for, get plenty of attention. I don't leave them until all their needs have been met

About: When I was little, I was obsessed with dogs. I had books on dog breeds and watched videos on how to train them. After a lot of begging, my mom agreed to get me a dog, as long as I took complete responsibility for him. Since then, from the age of nine, I have been responsible for a pet. I loved walking, feeding, and training my and others' dogs. My career is working with wild animals, but I love pets. I am a runner, hiker, and backpacker- I love being outside and moving with an animal! I have taken care of dogs, reptiles, birds, and cats, and I would love the opportunity to get fresh air with a furry friend! I am a graduate student, so besides my classes I'm hoping to work with animals as much as possible! I am free Monday and Wednesday mornings, Tuesday and Fridays, Thursday afternoons, and most weekends I cannot care for a pet in my own home, as it is too small and I don't think any animal would like that. However, I try to take dogs outside as much as possible, be extremely punctual with meal times, and be calm and loving at all times. I try to listen to each animal's body language to give them the attention they need

About: New Zealander living in America so I miss my pets back home!! Grew up in an animal family so I have years of experience in NZ & in america looking after dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, and chickens :) Can’t wait to meet your furry friends :) I am currently training at the Washington Ballet, and I live with my 2 sisters who also dance! Between the 3 of us we will take turns walking, feeding & looking after your pets. I’m in an apartment in Northwest with my 2 sisters (also animal LOVERS) - there is lots of greenery and we love to walk round the neighbourhood so your animals get their playtime too!
