“Rubens is a wonderful dog walker, or so Devlin shows me! She's happy and content when I get home in the afternoon. I also receive such lovely photos. Thanks, Rubens, for taking such good care of my girl!”

3. Mira K.

“Mira is extremely kind and responsible. I hired her to walk my dog for two weeks every day while I was away – she was very dependable and showed up every single day on time. She seemed to really care about my dog, and my dog liked her. She sent pictures and knows how to handle an older dog.”

4. Emanuela C.
“Conosco Emanuela da ormai molti anni e posso assicurare che si tratta di una persona responsabile, competente, amorevole e paziente a cui affiderei senza ombra di dubbio i miei animali domestici !”

5. Juliet L.

“First walk with our boy Ziggy and she was great. On time, took him out to the dog park, he came back tired. All you can ask for! Super nice and asked all the right questions. We felt very comfortable with her.”

6. Zach G.
“Zach is a loving and compassionate young man. He has grown up with a dog who he has loved and cared for over 12 years. Before leaving for college, he assisted two families while away on vacation with their pets. He was appreciated by these families leaving their pets in trusted hands and accommodating any special requests. He enjoyed sending photos to the owners of their pets playing and enjoying their time together.”

7. Angie Q.
About: Update: only available in NW DC for current petsitting ( Gtown, Glover/Cleveland park, Cathedral Heights/ Grover Park and N to Bethesda) I would love to care for yor pet! Please read through my full profile to ensure we are a good match. I've had pets all my life and have cared for friends and family's pets while away. If caring for your pet at your home will maintain their normal schedule and provide lots of TLC. Walking, feeding, playing, hanging out to keep them company. They are the priority. Love kitties as well as pups. Walkies as scheduled, with treats and play time. I'm flexible to their needs. I know pets, and want to know about yours so they are happy while you are away. Spent last 20 years in Corp America, I'm professional, trustworthy and reliable. Recent transplant from AZ, and love being back in NW DC. Must love dogs, and I do! Love the purrrrr of kitties too! Typically, only available weekends or long weekends (holidays). Exceptions depend on my work schedule (I do work from home), so please check especially if you get in a bind. Really strong pups, even in my limit of 40 lbs, may not work. I do like pitties, but they can just be too strong for me unless well trained on a lead.. it really goes for any dog over 20 lbs (hope that makes sense). For boarding in my home- Pet dependent. 1 dog only, female only, must be housebroken- take 4 walkies a day. My current pup is NOT good with yappy breeds...

8. Megan H.
“This is the first time Megan walked Cinder and I hope it won’t be the last! She took Cinder on a really long walk where she saw deer and had plenty of time to explore. We highly recommend her!”

9. Annika S.
“Annika is an amazing pet sitter, her professionalism and love for animals is unmatched! She is super friendly and outgoing, always willing to help and would be a valuable asset to any family!”

10. Michael O.
“Michael has watched my dogs and cat a number of times and has done a wonderful job of following my instructions, but she has also taken the initiative to work with the dogs to make sure they learn tricks when I am gone. I think they enjoy having her here more than me! I know they are in good hands when she is here, which means I enjoy my trips as I do not have to worry about the animals or the house. Although she usually stays at my house, she has taken my dog to stay with her a couple of times and that went well, too.”

11. Ashton M.

“This is our second time using Ashton and she was fantastic (again)! We are so happy we’ve found her for our golden retriever. Can’t recommend highly enough!”

12. Jana T.

“Jana was a great walker. She was very patient with Hazel the hound who had to be coaxed on the walk. Hazel had a wonderful time. Thank you Jana!”

13. Lindsay & Aaron J.

“Lindsay does a great job walking our dog. She is timely and communicative. She’s really saved me when I’ve needed to book a walk at the last minute, too. Highly recommend!”

14. Reagan S.

“Reagan is a great communicator who leaves me feeling assured that my sweet, but shy/anxious dog is in caring hands! I appreciate the detailed notes about her walks with my 🐶 and would highly recommend her services!”

15. Sun N.
“Sun has watched our pets many times. She is very attentive and responsible. She is good at setting any boundaries you may have for your pets, but also spoiling them with attention. We have a dog, 3 cats and at one point we also had chickens. She was great with all of them.”

16. Sonya P.
About: I’ve worked at a dog daycare for 2 years; I’d watch over 40 dogs at a time, all sizes and ages! My own dog is a 16 year old shihtzu so I’m comfortable with seniors. Additionally, I have dog sat since I was 8 for neighbors and while I’ve babysat. I am currently a student at American University, so I am available whenever I am not in class! So most weekdays I can come throughout the day, and I am normally free in the evening. All weekends I am completely free. At the dog daycare I worked at I would be in charge of over 40 dogs at a time. I’ve learned their tendencies and behaviors. When I would dog sit it would be in suburb houses with fenced lawns. I am comfortable going on long walks around the neighborhood.

17. Svetlanna & Javier V.
“Svetlana pet sitted my kitten of 4 months and took amazing care of my kitty. She cleaned her litter, fed her, played with her and did more than what she needed to do. Svet also has 2 pets of her own (a dog and a cat) and she would be a wonderful pet sitter.”

18. James R.
“James is the best! He always treats my 5 year old Doberman Bertha with love and kindness. I'm 85 and can't get out like I used to. Bertha wags her tail and gets all excited when she sees James and she always returns home happy. I recommend James to anyone who is looking for a responsible and loving caregiver for their dog.”

19. Dani F.

“Dani was so great with my pup. It’s priceless to have someone trustworthy to take care of your pet! 100% recommend her for all your Rover needs.”

20. Caroline & Thomas N.

“Caroline was wonderful and wish we could have her walk Riley everyday!!”
