With years of experience as dog watchers and proud pet parents to Captain, our 40 lb Shepherd Mix, we offer a unique team approach to caring for your furry friends. While we both have day jobs, Sara works hybrid, allowing us to provide around-the-clock care and attention to your beloved pets. At our home, every dog is treated like family. We work during the day hours, with one of us having a hybrid schedule. Weekends are spent at home with the furry ones! For my drop in visits or overnight stays I am comfortable with whatever routine you already have established for your pet(s).

About: When I was 16 I was given the choice between getting a dog or a car… and chose a dog. I always have had a love for dogs, whether it’s having my own or being able to be around others. Growing up I had an English Bulldog that I adored. After I moved to DC, my roommate and I fostered a dog from the Humane Rescue Alliance and she was recently adopted! We had her for 4-5 months, and she was an absolute joy to have. She was found on the streets of DC, so I had to work with her on some things like walking on a leash and getting her basic commands down. Now that we don’t have her anymore, I would love to take care of others dogs! I work a sales job, so my weeks are pretty flexible. I have fully remote Mondays and Fridays so those are usually the best days for me to help out during the week, as well as the weekends. I live in a townhouse very close to meridian hill park and would love to take a dog on walks/to the park to play or just hangout!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have worked as a pet sitter and walker for the past 6 years. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes as well as have experience taking care of young puppies and kittens. I am also an avid equestrian so really an all around animal lover. I’m open to taking care of animals with all levels of training. I’m currently a student at American University and I live right next to campus. I also have a job that is entirely remote which means between work and studying I am home most of the time. I have classes every day but Wednesday and I'm only ever gone for an absolute maximum of three hours at a time. I also go on lots of walks daily so your dog would be able to get lots of exercise. On weekends my schedule is flexible and I can devote all my time to taking care of pets in my care. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and am very open to doing whatever it takes to make a pet in my care feel as comfortable as possible when staying with me. I'll do my very best to stick to the animal's preexisting schedule and following the same rules they have with their owners. It's important to me to give my animals lots of attention and exercise.
