About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up with family pets, so caring for them has always come naturally. Over the years, I’ve also pet sat for friends, providing dependable care, walks, playtime, and plenty of love while they’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether it’s an energetic pup or a laid-back senior, I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently waiting to start a new role, so I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and love spending time with animals, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m currently available for visits only, not hosting pets in my home. I can provide drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and other routine care in your home.

About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

About: I'm a full-time professional with fairly flexible work hours. I have two dogs, a happy, healthy 12 yr old Plott-hound mix, Ollie, and a happy, energetic and loving 2 yr old husky-shepherd mix, Bella., I've watched and cared for dozens of other dogs (friends, family, etc.) over the last 15 years and am generally known as a bit of a 'dog whisperer'. I absolutely love dogs and look forward to taking exceptional care of your pet when you need to leave them in somebody else's care. Ollie, Bella, and I walk for ~4 miles every day around the neighborhood, go to dog friendly parks/fields in my neighborhood, and walks in the woods where they can run off leash. As highlighted in the pictures, Ollie and Bella readily get along with a wide variety of dogs as a walking buddy, a sleeping buddy, or a running-around-a-field buddy. If you leave your dog with us, your dog will have new canine friends, get lots of fun neighborhood walks, and have friends to cuddle up with on the couch / in their dog bed after a long-day of walking, eating, and sleeping :). I typically do two long walks each day (one between ~7-9 AM, the other sometime between 5-7 PM). Will also do a short mid-day walk and/or a short pre-bedtime walk as needed! While Ollie and Bella were crate trained as puppies, at this point they roams freely throughout the house. That said, I'm happy to host crate-trained dogs, and more than comfortable allowing your (trained!) dog to roam free throughout my home much like my pups.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three family dogs and was the primary caretaker and trainer for my most recent dog, Aiko. Through daily walks, feeding, grooming, training, and playtime, I gained valuable experience understanding the unique needs of different dogs. About: I’ve always loved dogs and grew up with a Rottweiler, so I’m comfortable with larger breeds and have plenty of experience caring for them. Many of my friends have big dogs, and I often enjoy taking them out for walks. During the warmer months, I can even take your pup on a short run to burn off some extra energy! With prior military service, I bring a high level of responsibility, reliability, and dedication to ensuring your dog gets the best care and attention during our time together. I can be free in the evenings starting at 6 pm on weekdays, or Wednesday mornings before 10:30am. My weekends are free and I can easily fit in a walk while you’re out living your best life.
