About: I'm a full-time professional with fairly flexible work hours. I have two dogs, a happy, healthy 12 yr old Plott-hound mix, Ollie, and a happy, energetic and loving 2 yr old husky-shepherd mix, Bella., I've watched and cared for dozens of other dogs (friends, family, etc.) over the last 15 years and am generally known as a bit of a 'dog whisperer'. I absolutely love dogs and look forward to taking exceptional care of your pet when you need to leave them in somebody else's care. Ollie, Bella, and I walk for ~4 miles every day around the neighborhood, go to dog friendly parks/fields in my neighborhood, and walks in the woods where they can run off leash. As highlighted in the pictures, Ollie and Bella readily get along with a wide variety of dogs as a walking buddy, a sleeping buddy, or a running-around-a-field buddy. If you leave your dog with us, your dog will have new canine friends, get lots of fun neighborhood walks, and have friends to cuddle up with on the couch / in their dog bed after a long-day of walking, eating, and sleeping :). I typically do two long walks each day (one between ~7-9 AM, the other sometime between 5-7 PM). Will also do a short mid-day walk and/or a short pre-bedtime walk as needed! While Ollie and Bella were crate trained as puppies, at this point they roams freely throughout the house. That said, I'm happy to host crate-trained dogs, and more than comfortable allowing your (trained!) dog to roam free throughout my home much like my pups.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three family dogs and was the primary caretaker and trainer for my most recent dog, Aiko. Through daily walks, feeding, grooming, training, and playtime, I gained valuable experience understanding the unique needs of different dogs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members, including both small and large breeds. I am comfortable handling multiple dogs at once and enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality. About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and grew up with a Rottweiler, so I’m comfortable with larger breeds and have plenty of experience caring for them. Many of my friends have big dogs, and I often enjoy taking them out for walks. During the warmer months, I can even take your pup on a short run to burn off some extra energy! With prior military service, I bring a high level of responsibility, reliability, and dedication to ensuring your dog gets the best care and attention during our time together. I can be free in the evenings starting at 6 pm on weekdays, or Wednesday mornings before 10:30am. My weekends are free and I can easily fit in a walk while you’re out living your best life. I give all animals lots of love, attention, and patience! I communicate well, and would love to share updates on how your dog is enjoying their walk, with a quick pic or two to capture the moment.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and they’ve always been a huge part of my life! I had two big pups to play with and grow up with and every member of my family had some kind of fur baby, whether it was a tiny little pup, a big fluffy dog or the sweetest cat. Being around so many different pets helped me learn their different personalities and needs from an early age :) When I was about 11, my mom started walking dogs in her free time as part of her wellness journey and I was lucky enough to join her. That’s when I first discovered how much I enjoy dog walking and caring for pets. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, my sister and my two aunts do, ranging from a playful chocolate pitty to an adorable teacup poodle, so I’m still surrounded by pups regularly. At home, I have three cats that I absolutely adore!! They truly mean the world to me and are a big part of who I am. Caring for animals isn’t just something I’ve done, it’s something I genuinely love & enjoy. I can’t wait to meet and care for even more amazing fur babies! 🐾 I am a full time student at Montgomery College as a psychology & surgical tech major! I’m at the silver spring campus and live near by and have a decent amount of time through my weekdays! My kitty babies roam freely as they are all pretty mature! I try to play and entertain for 30 mins a day but sometimes it’s 15 a day, I feed them twice a day wet food only!
