About: Growing up with three dogs, I have learned not only that different dogs have their own lifestyle and personality, but also different feeding habits and behaviors. My clef pallet pup, Daisy, has taught me that patience can lead to happiness and learning with all kinds of dogs. As a recent high school graduate, I am available all summer to care for your furry friends. As I prepare for college, I am building my savings to have a successful first year! Growing up, I have had dogs of different sizes, from teacup size to 50+ pounds. Not only do I have experience with tricky behavioral dogs, but also pups with disabilities, such as clef pallets.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and my family has always owned extra-large breeds — including our current gentle giant, who weighs 130 lbs! Because of that, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether they’re playful and energetic or shy and routine-oriented. I am a recent law school graduate and I'll be taking time off this summer to study for the bar exam, which gives me a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and sitting services. I can easily fit my study schedule around your pet’s needs to make sure they get reliable, attentive care and lots of love while you’re away. I care for pets by being attentive to their individual needs and personalities. I love engaging with animals — whether that means giving them lots of affection and attention, going on walks, playing, or simply making sure they get fresh air and stimulation throughout the day. At the same time, I understand that every pet is different. Some are highly social, while others are more independent and prefer their own space. I always strive to respect each pet’s comfort level and routine while making sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy in my presence.

About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

About: I've had a passion caring for animals since I was little. I've cared for neighbors dogs and as I get older I've participated in vet camps, volunteered and interned at animal shelters and clinics. I'm also in college majoring in animal science to eventually become a veterinarian! Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine so I’m comfortable fitting walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins into my schedule. I plan my days carefully to make sure my guinea pig gets reliable attention, feed, and cuddle time. In my home, I keep my pets safe, comfortable, and on a consistent routine with food, water, cleaning, and attention. I care for my guinea pig daily, so I’m used to being responsible and attentive to pets needs. In clients homes, I follow their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and they’ve always been a huge part of my life! I had two big pups to play with and grow up with and every member of my family had some kind of fur baby, whether it was a tiny little pup, a big fluffy dog or the sweetest cat. Being around so many different pets helped me learn their different personalities and needs from an early age :) When I was about 11, my mom started walking dogs in her free time as part of her wellness journey and I was lucky enough to join her. That’s when I first discovered how much I enjoy dog walking and caring for pets. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, my sister and my two aunts do, ranging from a playful chocolate pitty to an adorable teacup poodle, so I’m still surrounded by pups regularly. At home, I have three cats that I absolutely adore!! They truly mean the world to me and are a big part of who I am. Caring for animals isn’t just something I’ve done, it’s something I genuinely love & enjoy. I can’t wait to meet and care for even more amazing fur babies! 🐾 I am a full time student at Montgomery College as a psychology & surgical tech major! I’m at the silver spring campus and live near by and have a decent amount of time through my weekdays! My kitty babies roam freely as they are all pretty mature! I try to play and entertain for 30 mins a day but sometimes it’s 15 a day, I feed them twice a day wet food only!

About: I'm a full-time professional with fairly flexible work hours. I have two dogs, a happy, healthy 12 yr old Plott-hound mix, Ollie, and a happy, energetic and loving 2 yr old husky-shepherd mix, Bella., I've watched and cared for dozens of other dogs (friends, family, etc.) over the last 15 years and am generally known as a bit of a 'dog whisperer'. I absolutely love dogs and look forward to taking exceptional care of your pet when you need to leave them in somebody else's care. Ollie, Bella, and I walk for ~4 miles every day around the neighborhood, go to dog friendly parks/fields in my neighborhood, and walks in the woods where they can run off leash. As highlighted in the pictures, Ollie and Bella readily get along with a wide variety of dogs as a walking buddy, a sleeping buddy, or a running-around-a-field buddy. If you leave your dog with us, your dog will have new canine friends, get lots of fun neighborhood walks, and have friends to cuddle up with on the couch / in their dog bed after a long-day of walking, eating, and sleeping :). I typically do two long walks each day (one between ~7-9 AM, the other sometime between 5-7 PM). Will also do a short mid-day walk and/or a short pre-bedtime walk as needed! While Ollie and Bella were crate trained as puppies, at this point they roams freely throughout the house. That said, I'm happy to host crate-trained dogs, and more than comfortable allowing your (trained!) dog to roam free throughout my home much like my pups.
