“Felicia is great!! Communicative, positive, and good with both our small blind dog and our larger dog who likes to try to eat everything off the sidewalk. Thank you, Felicia!!”

About: I'm a full-time professional with fairly flexible work hours. I have two dogs, a happy, healthy 12 yr old Plott-hound mix, Ollie, and a happy, energetic and loving 2 yr old husky-shepherd mix, Bella., I've watched and cared for dozens of other dogs (friends, family, etc.) over the last 15 years and am generally known as a bit of a 'dog whisperer'. I absolutely love dogs and look forward to taking exceptional care of your pet when you need to leave them in somebody else's care. Ollie, Bella, and I walk for ~4 miles every day around the neighborhood, go to dog friendly parks/fields in my neighborhood, and walks in the woods where they can run off leash. As highlighted in the pictures, Ollie and Bella readily get along with a wide variety of dogs as a walking buddy, a sleeping buddy, or a running-around-a-field buddy. If you leave your dog with us, your dog will have new canine friends, get lots of fun neighborhood walks, and have friends to cuddle up with on the couch / in their dog bed after a long-day of walking, eating, and sleeping :). I typically do two long walks each day (one between ~7-9 AM, the other sometime between 5-7 PM). Will also do a short mid-day walk and/or a short pre-bedtime walk as needed! While Ollie and Bella were crate trained as puppies, at this point they roams freely throughout the house. That said, I'm happy to host crate-trained dogs, and more than comfortable allowing your (trained!) dog to roam free throughout my home much like my pups.
“This was my first time using Rover and was in a tight spot after my go-to walker was out of town. Andrew was more than we could have asked for. Our dog is an anxious fellow but took to Andrew immediately which really gave us peace of mind.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was 8 years old. I have always had fun playing and taking care of them. My cousin and my aunt always come to me to make sure that their pets are feed and taken care of when they are gone. I’m currently in school but get out early at around 11. I can very much walk them anytime after 11 since I don’t do anything else. I can spend time with your fur baby in your backyard for however long you need me to! I am great with being out doors so I will never mind.
“This was our second time working with Tori for twice-daily walks while my family was traveling and she continues to be exemplary. Proactive, prompt, and takes great care of our dog.”

“We just used the service for the first time and were a bit nervous, but Allison put all those worries to rest! She was super communicative and flexible with the schedule of our older dog. Will definitely be reaching out again!”

“George had a great walk and extra time outdoors while I was out for a full day. Thomas responded to George’s needs as an older dog sensitive to hot weather. He loved getting out for fresh air and I got a lot of cute photos!”

“Selamawit has been both flexible with our schedule and truly loving of our dog. The pictures she sends on walks makes my day better. She provides excellent service and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“We are just thrilled with the care Leo's reliability, kindness, and the care he shows for our dog. I happened to be home when he came by yesterday, and saw that he removed his shoes when he came in. Our family doesn't wear shoes in the house and we have a tray next to the door for shoes, but we never ask or expect guests to remove theirs. Leo is so considerate and observant that he did this on his own. I think this speaks volumes about him. We feel very fortunate to have him caring for Jake.”

About: Currently my brother and I are working from home and don't mind having your dog here to accompany us. We love furry guests! I've had/watched dogs all my life ranging from teacups to great Danes, we love them all! Working from home 5 days a week (introverts for sure) we are available most week days and weekends. Our morning and afternoon walks for its nothing to add your fur baby! We have pups and dislike crates so I let them roam the house. If the house is too foreign I will limit them to the room im occupying with occasional backyard fun and 20/30 min walks. I also send pics daily/hourly depending on owners comfort level.

About: I was practically raised by wolves lol. Growing up in a Huge Southern Household I’ve had plenty of Paws-on experience with dozens of breeds, all sizes, ages, and temperaments. From HUGE St Bernard’s and German shepherd’s, to Pomeranians and Yorkipoos! I’m a college student on summer break, so the sky is the limit! My schedule is extremely flexible, and I will be happy to discuss that further with you. Unfortunately, I do not offer boarding services at this time. I am familiar and experienced taking precautionary measures to keep your fur baby safe and happy home and in public spaces.
About: I've taken care of dogs for close to 5 years, everything from walking, sitting, and feeding. I have helped train guiding eyes for the blind guide dogs, and have worked with a range of dogs, large to small. Im a senior in high school with a light schedule, and am free in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 12:30 to take care of pets. On weekends I have availability all day. I will provide ample exercise opportunities, treat your pet with love and affection, and maintain the routines you have established. I try to form a bond with your pet and make the most of our time together.
About: I've had a passion caring for animals since I was little. I've cared for neighbors dogs and as I get older I've participated in vet camps, volunteered and interned at animal shelters and clinics. I'm also in college majoring in animal science to eventually become a veterinarian! Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine so I’m comfortable fitting walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins into my schedule. I plan my days carefully to make sure my guinea pig gets reliable attention, feed, and cuddle time. In my home, I keep my pets safe, comfortable, and on a consistent routine with food, water, cleaning, and attention. I care for my guinea pig daily, so I’m used to being responsible and attentive to pets needs. In clients homes, I follow their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship.
“We can't recommend her more! For three weeks we needed help during the day to walk our dog and she went well above and beyond not just walking him but also helping to care for him when he got sick. While in no way did we expect that level of kindness we greatly appreciated it. If you need help look no farther!”

“Lisha has watched Millie in my home multiple times and also came over yesterday to take her for a midday walk while I was at work! She continues to be extremely communicative, reliable, and loves my dog! The feeling is mutual:)”

About: I grew up with two cats, a dog, and would walk dogs in the neighborhood I grew up. I’ve trained dogs to sit, stay, speak, and other basic skills. I can drop by any time as long as I have notice! External commitments are flexible. Weekends are when I am mostly available at this time. I believe in leaving things better than you found them, and I love taking care of all living beings. I show that same amount of care in others’ homes.

“Nakia continues to be a star and has gone above an beyond keeping our pup happy, healthy, and on-routine while I recover from surgery. Don't hesitate to book her!”

Fort Totten-Upper Northeast dog parents share their Rover experiences
Leah walks our guy Otis a few times a week and has been nothing short of wonderful. She takes care of Otis like he is her own dog. She did us a huge solid and agreed to start walking him only a few days after we had adopted him and didn’t know much about him. She communicates reliably and consistently; she always gives advance notice if she can’t make a walk. And, she is very mindful of Otis’ needs and adjusts accordingly, asking questions and giving updates as needed. The one time I happened to be home when she came to get Otis for his afternoon walk, he ran to the door and never looked back. He LOVES Leah. At the risk of losing our cherished dog walker because she gets booked up after this review, we would give 10 stars if we could because Leah very much deserves her flowers!

Lakshmi was amazing! She came to us and did well with Artemis. There were hiccups with our front desk the day of the walk and Lakshmi was the perfect balance between communicative and patient, and sent photos and updates about the walk! Very very grateful she was able to help us out!

Kathleen came to walk my puppy after he had been crated for several hours so I know he was probably super energetic. She took him on a long sniff walk and sent cute pics and a video. She was a pleasure to meet in person for our meet & greet and I just knew I could trust her!

Havi has been a god send! Although she’s only been walking Frankie for two weeks, he has totally fallen for her. He watches the door each morning and when the door opens, he flies to meet her for his walk. The sight of his little wagging butt is so adorable. Havi is definitely a winner!

Kyle was fantastic! We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and Macho instantly took to him, which gave me a lot of confidence. Kyle is friendly, professional, and communicative, keeping me updated and making the whole experience stress-free. Most importantly, Macho absolutely loves his walks with Kyle and is always excited to see him. I highly recommend Kyle and would book with him again without hesitation. Five stars!

Bruno and Victoria have walked and dog sat for my dog on multiple occasions and have also done some cat check ins. It is apparent that they are animal lovers and treat others' pets as their own. My dog is always ecstatic to run into them in the neighborhood so I know they take great care of her and give her lots of love while I am away. They have always been very communicative and reliable and are willing to work with my dog as she has some reactive behaviors on leash. I would definitely recommend booking Bruno to care for your pets!
