About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. I specifically like to take care of small to medium dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are house trained. I am very excited to start this journey on Rover and meet and take care of your dogs. I am retired and am at home full-time which gives me the availability to fully cater to your dogs. I like to go on walks in my neighbourhood and spend time in my fenced in backyard. I have a fenced in backyard with plent of room to play and run around. I also have a very walkable neighbourhood and have an extra room for your pet to have their space.
“Shantell was great!!! She was very accommodating and made sure Lando was perfectly cared for. He loved having some friends to hang out with and can’t wait to go back.”

“Taurus was great. Highly recommend. He’s communicative throughout the process. He suggested and then we easily arranged a meet and greet before he sat the dog. Great service”

“I was really impressed with Jason N. and can't recommend him highly enough! My pup is a shy rescue with separation anxiety, but she immediately felt right at home at Jason N.'s and was having so much fun with the wonderful resident dog that she barely noticed when I left. I received regular updates on her day that completely assuaged any concerns I'd normally have, and when I picked her up at the end of the day I found her happy, relaxed, and all played-out. Having someone I really trust to watch Stella is an immense piece of mind, and I'll definitely be calling Jason N. next time I need a sitter.”

“Petey had a great time with Emily and Mushu! Emily was very communicative and quick to respond via Rover message, and did a great job with Petey during his first daycare day. I was nervous about finding a new sitter after we moved back into the area, but Emily’s demeanor with Pete immediately put me at ease. He came home a happy pup! We will definitely book Emily again and I highly recommend her services.”

“Matty has been very communicative, flexible, friendly, and most importantly great with Teddy Bear :) Best of all, he came highly recommended by people in whom I have complete confidence with regard to Teddy Bear's care, so I was able to have total peace of mind when I dropped Ted with him for the first time. Thank you, Matty!”

“Kelly is an amazing dog sitter. Our dog seems so relaxed at Kelly’s house and in her company. Kelly is so communicative and shares pictures throughout the day, which always gives us peace of mind while being away from our dog.”

“My dog seemed happy and healthy on pickup after two nights. I didn’t meet Dominique, just met her brother on both dropoff and pickup. He was good with my dog and theirs, as well as a third old pup who was at the house at pickup. They had the porch secured with a barrier that would not hold a big or determined dog but it seemed they were out there supervising all the time so no worries about escapes. They communicated well, I got photos and a few texts around logistics. Thanks guys! We’ll definitely consider using them again.”

“Joanna and Gilbert took very good care of Snowy. They were very mindful of his feeding and walking schedule. Joanna was also very prompt with communication which I really appreciate.”

“Our first doggy day care with Amani was great! She communicated great up front to let me know what to expect and Blob came back absolutely exhausted. Amani was realistic about taking care of a puppy, which I greatly appreciated. I love that Blob is able to socialize, run around in a yard, and overall have a great day with her.”

“Justin and Jeremy are awesome! I needed a last minute sitter for my pampered pup and Justin and Jeremy responded very quickly to my request and I was able to schedule a meet and greet a few hours after speaking. My pup was scheduled for daycare the following day and I know she had a great time as Justin and Jeremy sent pictures throughout the day of her taking a walk, napping, and enjoying cuddles. When I returned to pick her up I could see she was very comfortable with Justin and Jeremy and had a full day playing with other pups as she quickly fell asleep on the car ride home. I would definitely entrust Justin and Jeremy with caring for my pup again! Thank you Justin and Jeremy! -Jessica and Coco Monroe”

faustine was the best sitter for our girl! she was super responsive and easy to schedule and work with. she sent great pics throughout the day and kept me updated. winnie is well exhausted and didn’t want to even leave when we picked her up. we will definitely be using faustine next time we are in dc!

Melanie did an amazing job caring for my dog, Milly, for daycare! Milly has severe separation anxiety, but she seemed very comfortable with Melanie. Melanie took Milly on multiple walks throughout the day and sent great photos of her. very grateful for Melanie's help.

Asha just got back from her first daycare with Joanna and her golden retriever Kylo, and it was fantastic. Asha is a rescue pup, and being around another friendly and confident dog is giving her so much confidence and reassurance. Joanna provided plenty of exercise and stimulation, and also cozy nap time. She was easy to schedule with. I hope that Joanna can dog sit Asha many more times in the future, and am grateful to have found her!
Erika is great! Our puppy Susan always enjoys seeing and spending time with her and we appreciate the updates during the day. We've had Susan with Erika several times before ranging from daycare to a one week stay over the holidays and have never felt uncomfortable leaving our puppy with her.
