WELCOME— Hello, we're Andrea and Lucía, and we've grown up with dogs and cats, and other animals our whole lives, and have been specifically caring for others pets with love for over 15 years. We are working professionals with flexible schedules that almost exclusively allow us to be home all day, and spend quality time with your pups. We are a very active family with two senior, but active dogs. We keep our pack small for the safety of our and your pups, not exceeding more than five dogs in our home. When your pups come to stay, they will get bathroom breaks every hour, get to go on hikes to Rock Creek and to the dog park! When not on an adventure, your pups are free to roam our house and play in our yard. Our services are catered to your pups, and we have extensive experience with very young puppies, senior dogs, and dogs recovering from injuries, including surgery. Our most popular services include daycare and boarding, but we also offer dog walks, work-hour check-ins and feedings, and at home care. If you brought your friend home during quarantine, and now have to go back into the office, or have a new puppy that needs constant love, daycare is a great way to make sure your friend has fun when you’re gone. SERVICES— Daycare – Whether it’s a nice change to their workweek loneliness, or a break for their parents during the weekend, day care is always a great idea for your pup. We offer services beginning at 7:30am for drop off and up to 7:00pm for pickup. We can assure you that your pup will have a great time, and be ready to sleep when they get home. We offer pick up and drop off for a small charge, and can offer the service up to a 5 mile radius from Silver Spring. Boarding – Going on vacation, or need a break to fix your house? Bring your pup over for a great vacation of their own at our place! As an overnight guest, your pup will be a part of the pack, but will also be kept on your desired schedule. Adventures can include hikes, playing in the yard, or trips to the park, followed by a cozy night in their bed or crate. We offer pick up and drop off for a small charge, and can offer the service up to a 5 mile radius from Silver Spring. Dog Walks – Thinking you’ll be working long hours and worried your pup needs to stretch their legs? We are available to come take your friend on a 15 or 30 min walk to have some fresh air. Please note if your pup is reactive, fearful, or aggressive on leash, as to ensure their safety on every walk. Also, if it is too warm outside, we may not walk the entire 30 minutes for their own safety. Drop-In Visits – If your pup needs to be checked in on, or you have a cat that needs some love during the day, we offer drop-in visits. This includes a feeding, water change, litter cleaning, or a walk outside for some relief. House Sitting - On occasion we offer at home-care for pets that prefer to be home. Please reach out about your specific needs! NOTES BEFORE BOOKING *All full grown dogs must be house trained as we want to minimize damage to the wood floors. Puppies will preferably be crate trained or accustomed to using pads. We ask owners to provide a crate and pads, and please be forthright about their dogs behaviors. Please be upfront and we can work out a plan to accommodate your pup and make sure they have a great time. *Please be honest about behaviors! We love all dogs, but we want to know as much about your pup as we can. Don't be embarrassed to alert us of common behaviors like leash reactiveness, flight risks, rabbit chasing, or shoe chewing. The more we know, the better we can make sure all goes well. We are working professionals that are almost exclusively home-based and whose lives revolve around our own pets' care. We are very active and can provide frequent walks and adventures. We have a yard, as well as a home that is open to all pups. We have extensive experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs in recovery from surgery and other illnesses. We tend to follow the pet parent's guidance for care, but can provide advice on training, care, and other questions too. We offer dog walking, drop-in, and pick up and drop off up to a 5 mile radius from Silver Spring.
