“Michelle was the sweetest person and took great care of my sweet Maltipoo Marshall. She sent me cute pictures and updates throughout the day. We were able to enjoy our DC trip without worrying about him because I knew he was in great hands. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone!!! Very trustworthy with your fur babies♥️♥️♥️”

Lexus W.

“Lexus is the best! As soon as we drive into her neighborhood, Wabi wants to jump out of the car. He knows where her door is, and just waits for her to open it and let him in. I enjoy the pics she takes of him.”

Erin L.

“Erin really knows dogs! She was super competent in handling Chester’s dog reactivity and even did some training with him! We would definitively bring him back!”

Leslie C.

“She was really great with our dog. could get in contact almost immediately if needed. Updated us with pictures of our dog. I would definitely recommend her for day care and even boarding. Her house is a secure apartment complex with very pet friendly environment.”

Roshni D.

“Roshni took very good care of our dog, who is pretty shy and anxious. Roshni asked great questions about our dog that demonstrated that she is knowledgeable and empathetic about caring for animals. Questions like checking for allergies, confirming emergency vet info, ask about pet preferences, checking for triggers, etc. She was very patient and upbeat as I shared about our dogs less charming quirks. She sent updates and pictures throughout. It was clear our dog was in good company and I was able to focus on my own day without worrying about our high maintenance dog. Will definitely book Roshni again!”

Andrea & Andreas P.

“Andrea was wonderful, great communication, sent photos, and Koda seemed to have had a blast! He had an accident in her home which is so unlike him and she was very kind and understanding about it. She took him on long walks. I also met Andreas who was very nice as well. I instantly felt comfortable leaving Koda with them”

Liz S.

“Liz is an amazing pet sitter. She is punctual, friendly, super helpful and kind. My dog has been sick and very stressed from our recent move and Liz has been a lifesaver, purchasing chicken and cooking it up for him, bathing him and scrubbing away poo from his explosive diarrhea. Did I mention Liz is a saint? Please dont book her because she is our nanny for life! Just kidding, book Liz if she's available!”

Leonard & Kathryn J.
“Over the past few weeks, Leonard and his family have taken great care of our dog, Cole. It's clear that Cole loves his time with Leonard's family because he is always happy to see Leonard and is eager to run inside when we drop him off. In addition, Leonard is extremely responsive and very accommodating of variations in drop-off and pick-up times. We would highly recommend Leonard and his family and will continue to entrust Cole to their care.”

Kelly C.
About: Aside from caring for my own dogs as well as neighbors’ pets my whole life, I was a periodic live-in sitter for an elderly pug that required extra care, including medications and eye drops. I also fostered 2 chiweenie puppies for a few months until they were able to find a forever home. I work from home on my own schedule, and would love some company. Since I don’t have set hours, I have time for several walks throughout the day and into the evening. I have a spacious 1 bedroom apartment nearby several parks. I’m happy to stay in with a sleepy dog or go on long walks with an energetic pup, as I am an active person.

Nikki D.

“Nikki loved Chester! She is very understanding of his separation anxiety and reactivity. We would definitely bring him back.”

Gabriel B.

“Gabriel was an awesome sitter for our nervous beagle! He took good care of her, gave her more meds when she got anxious, and made sure she had a nice time. If we weren't moving away, we would definitely book him again!”

Arial G.
“Arial takes care of my sweet Perla when I travel. She takes such a good care and gives her love and keep us update of how she is doing. Perla is always excited to see her!”

Madeline D.

“Madeline was great! Very communicative, sent updates and pictures throughout the day, and sent me home with a very tired and happy pup! I highly recommend her and will book with her again!”

Aleksandra & Thomas T.
“Aleks has watched my dog Banksy many times - she is the best! Banksy never wants to come home after slumber parties with Aleks and her sweet dog Penny. Can't recommend her enough. -Lauren Y.”

Kendall H.
“Kendall is one of the more caring, responsible people I know. She is an animal-lover through and through. I would absolutely let her walk and care for my goldendoodle at any time. She has a lot of experience caring for dogs, as she has a family dog that is now 16! So she has experience caring for puppies, full grown dogs, and elderly dogs as well. I would trust her with potty breaks, walking, feeding, even giving medication to a pup. Let her care for your pup today!”

Jean-Pierre H.
“Jean-Pierre is such a loving and responsible pet owner and sitter! He’s great with my senior dog, Mo, and always so patient and attentive with his health issues. His knowledge of dog behavior/training puts me at ease, knowing that he can handle introducing Mo to other dogs on walks, at the park, etc. I’ve also seen what a wonderful parent to his own dog, Charlie, who is a super happy GoldenDoodle. I highly recommend Jean-Pierre!”

Ruhan H.
“Ruhan was a great pet sitter! She took care of our dogs Beanie and Walker when we were away during the weekend. She clearly have experience working with and caring for dogs and it was nice being away knowing my furry buds are in good hands! Very communicative and genuine. I recommend her 100% to anyone who needs boarding or pet sitting!!”

Yulia W.

“This was our puppy´s first time in day care. We were visiting the DC area and wanted a day to do tours and museums without worrying about having to keep our pup in her crate all day. Yuliya was great! She sent us photos and videos throughout the day. We could tell our pup had a great time playing with the other dogs. When we picked her up she was all worn out and ready for a good night´s sleep which was especially great because so were we.”

Gus H.
About: Hi, I’m Gus! I live with my partner in Petworth and would love to hang out with your dog, whether for a quick walk or a long weekend. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including puppies and recent rescues who may be a little nervous. Please note that dogs over 60lbs unfortunately cannot be boarded in my home per building policy. I’m a tour guide, currently on summer hiatus, so my availability is wide open! As the school year gets underway (and all the eighth graders arrive!) this will change slightly, but there is always plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I live in an apartment home with its own private, fenced-in dog park. If your dog loves long walks, we’re also close to Rock Creek Park; if your dog is a social butterfly, we’re blocks from the Upshur Dog Park! In your neighborhood, I’m happy to follow your dog’s favorite walking routes or explore some new ones. We are in the process of adopting but don’t yet have pets of our own, so your dog(s) will have the place to themselves.
