“Sonja was amazing! She came out on short notice to meet our pups, and she did an amazing job with them. She sent us photo updates and checked in every so often. The pups looked so happy; we could tell they were having a blast and that they loved her. As owners of two large breed dogs, it's difficult to find someone who is at ease around them, not afraid, and not overwhelmed by them, and Sonja was all that we could have hoped for in those regards. About: I have owned several dogs over the years, but as my life got busy I could no longer care for a dog in my home. I really miss having a pet but, cant commit to having one full-time. I really wished services like this were available to me years ago and now that it is available I hope to help others keep their pets! It helps me too! I get to enjoy the love of a dog or cat for a few hour a day or a few days per week while you get to take care of your personal business. I am a HR Professional by day and animal lover at all times! I work from home 100% of the time and I take a few meetings during the day away from home. My schedule is pretty flexible. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. There are some hours during the week where I'll be away from home, but if you need to message me about the schedule or your specific needs, I'm sure we can figure something out. I am insistent on meeting the parents and the dog before I provide services. This way we can agree on the needs of the specific dog rather than focus on my needs. I use that meeting to decide and help the parents decide if I am the right caretaker for their fury loved one. I live in a secure condo building with plenty of pets in a neighborhood that is very walkable and has plenty of dog parks around.

Pet care fits into my daily routine, since I work from home, I’m able to take care of the dog during the day and night. I typically wake up pretty early and keep a regimented schedule throughout the day. I make sure the dog is walked. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. Some dogs don’t like all of that so you really have to pay attention to what type of dog you’re getting. Luckily I love all dogs so it’s all fun for me.

Sonja was amazing and helped us out short notice. Our sweet Boomer has anxiety and she was understanding and accommodating with him. She kept us updated with his walks and potty breaks. She promptly responded to messages and sent photos of him settling in. Boomer goes everywhere w us, but couldn’t today due to a last minute trip change, and us having to check out of the hotel. When dropping Boomer off, we immediately felt comfortable with Sonja. We knew that we could leave him w her, enjoy the activity we had planned, and know he was in good hands. 10/10 recommend her and would 100% use her services again when in town.

It feels so rare to find someone on this app that genuinely has the animals wellness and comfort as their top priority. After so many bad experiences it was a relief to know my dog was in good hands while I was away. I had to find a sitter last minute for work and Rosina was extremely flexible and communicative. If I could do a rating worth more than 5 stars I would. Even if you do not live in DC I highly recommend going the distance to ensure your furry friend is in a beautiful loving home. Ali watched my dogs for a weekend while I was out of town and did a tremendous job. I felt at ease knowing they were loved and cared for. One of my dogs had some separation anxiety and she made sure to comfort him while in distress. She also provided me with photos and updates while I was away missing them.
