“Bruno stayed with Melanie for doggy daycare and she was so nice and professional! She took very good care of my pup! I was impressed with her natural ability to handle and care for dogs as if they were her own. He came home tired and very happy. I will definitely bring Bruno for doggy day care!”

“Wonderful experience! This is my first time leaving my fur baby with June and she didnt disappoint. She gave my senior pup, Snapple, plenty of cuddles and attention all day. And I absolutely love the amount of pics and videos June sent during her stay to make me feel comfortable as a dogmom :-). I highly recommend!”

“Sonja was amazing! She came out on short notice to meet our pups, and she did an amazing job with them. She sent us photo updates and checked in every so often. The pups looked so happy; we could tell they were having a blast and that they loved her. As owners of two large breed dogs, it's difficult to find someone who is at ease around them, not afraid, and not overwhelmed by them, and Sonja was all that we could have hoped for in those regards. We definitely plan on using her services again! ”
“Super friendly and helped out last minute. This was a life saver for our vacation to have someone watch our dog while we were in between check out and check in to a new location. This was our first time using the service and she did great with my dog.”

“Andrew was great and very patient with Wally. They went on some nice walks around their neighborhood, and then Wally enjoyed cuddling on the couch! His dog Autumn was also very good with Wally and she’s very sweet. I can’t wait for Wally to stay with them again!”

“Aroa was fantastic! She gave plenty of updates with photos throughout the day and kept my anxious boy very happy with lots of walks and scritches! Would definitely recommend!”

“Rosina is a gem. She is both communicative and super caring. Hastings always comes back smiling and tired after spending the day with her - and rapidly runs when I walk him to drop him off at hers in the morning. Highly recommend”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and enjoy training dogs and puppies as a hobby. You'll be pleasantly surprised to find your dog understands a new command after staying with me for a few days! I currently work from home most days, so I've taken to this as a way to brighten up my day and help folks in the neighborhood with their pet needs. I am reliable, consistent, and follow owner's care instruction to the letter. I also take on a limited amount of clients to ensure that your pet gets quality care.
“Hugo loved staying with Melodie and made a doggo friend! Melodie listened carefully to Hugo’s special care instructions and sent me pictures. Thank you!”

“My dog, Freddie, stayed with Joe for an afternoon while we were out in Beaufort. Joe has a great location, super convenient to downtown and a great backyard for the pups to play in. Joe made things super easy and his dog, Watson, kept Freddie busy and entertained for the afternoon. Would highly recommend Joe and Watson and hope to have Freddie stay again in the future!”

“Alicia is great!! Beau loved her and she was so kind and communicative. He has a little separation anxiety but it seemed to be no issue with her :) Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have a 40 pound mix who thrives with other friendly dogs around. Your dog will get 2-3 walks a day and lots of attention. I have a small fenced in backyard as well. Conveniently located on Capitol Hill right off 395. I work from home and walk my own dog morning, afternoon, and evening. Your dog can expect the same, plus lots of love and attention in the home both from me and my dog. Pets are treated like family in my home. I will take care of yours as if it’s mine. My dog Molly loves other dogs and my neighborhood is super dog friendly.

About: I had a dog named Buddy that I loved deeply for 16 years. Buddy passed away two years ago and it has been difficult moving on without him.I am looking for opportunities to dogsit for companionship and an excuse to be more active. I have dogsat for family many times and have experience caring for a range of ages and breeds. I am most familiar with caring for senior dogs. I work fully remote and will be able to be with your baby throughout the day. Please consider me you new sitter! Pet care fits into my daily routine, since I work from home, I’m able to take care of the dog during the day and night. I typically wake up pretty early and keep a regimented schedule throughout the day. I make sure the dog is walked. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. Some dogs don’t like all of that so you really have to pay attention to what type of dog you’re getting. Luckily I love all dogs so it’s all fun for me.

“Emily is obviously a dog lover. She made my pup feel right at home and took her on a nice walk. I really like it when I get updates during the day and Emily sent me photos confirming my pup was comfortable and happy. I’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Kristine was amazing! She helped make our trip to DC wonderful with both her welcoming smile every morning at drop off, and her insider knowledge and suggestions that made our travels more enjoyable. Thanks so much for everything, highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stadium-Armory
Imogen was fantastic with Rosie! She was proactive, detail-oriented, and communicative, sending regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind. Rosie got long walks and trips to the dog park, and she came home very happy! The care and attention Imogen gave her was evident throughout. Highly recommend Imogen to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive dog sitter!

Literally the best dog sitter ever!!! Dexter came home tired, and a tired dog is a good dog! This was my first time using a Rover sitter and I had such a great experience. Lots of pics and updates ◡̈ I honestly don’t even want to ever go with anyone other than Kaylee!

It feels so rare to find someone on this app that genuinely has the animals wellness and comfort as their top priority. After so many bad experiences it was a relief to know my dog was in good hands while I was away. I had to find a sitter last minute for work and Rosina was extremely flexible and communicative. If I could do a rating worth more than 5 stars I would. Even if you do not live in DC I highly recommend going the distance to ensure your furry friend is in a beautiful loving home. Will 100% be rebooking whenever I'm in the area. <3
