About: I have more than 14 years of professional animal-care experience, including 10 years working as a veterinary technician. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, including seniors, shy or anxious pets, and animals with medical or special-care needs. My veterinary background taught me to pay close attention to the little things — changes in appetite, behavior, mobility, bathroom habits, or overall comfort — and to recognize when something may need closer attention. I’m also comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and maintaining established routines. I know that every pet is different, so I adjust my care to the individual animal rather than expecting them to immediately adapt to me. Some pets want constant attention and cuddles; others need a little more time and space before they feel comfortable. My goal is always to help them feel safe, relaxed, and at home while their person is away. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals throughout my career, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks, and there are no children or resident pets in my home. I follow each owner’s instructions regarding leashes, harnesses, feeding, medications, exercise, and household routines. My veterinary experience also means I’m accustomed to monitoring animals closely for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or comfort. About: Being with the NFB {National Federation of The Blind}, I've been around dogs for a very long time. When their owners need a break, I allow them to have time for themselves, and be able to be a regular dog for a bit. I love helping them get groomed, make sure that they're well fed, enjoying walks with them, a whole bunch of other things, including playing with them. This helps the inner child within me, because I'm able to finally reconnect with dogs in a way that I've been reconnecting for the longest amount of time. Thank you for trusting me with them, and have a safe day. Currently, I am working part-time at another job, but hopefully this will be my point of income for a while. I absolutely love the concept of just being paid to play with animals that I have always loved. I can do that any given time frame, any given day, just as long as you are public transportation accessible, I am on my way. I can absolutely assure safety, because I'm a little paranoid about my own. I will make sure that if there's anything I need to know, I will scare me areas around me, know what potential risks there are, potential accidents that could happen, and anything else that needs to be paid attention to. I am good with quickly learning my surroundings and understanding what needs to happen at a very quick pace.
