About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. “I booked a homestay with Kellye for a week and had a wonderful experience! She took great care of my cat sending me multiple pictures every day and checking in with cat care questions when she needed to. Throughout this week, my cat had to take multiple medicines and different medicines at dinner and breakfast. Kellye was able to administer these various medicines easily, ensuring my cat got the extra care she needed even in my absence. She was also very respectful of my space. About: I've taken care of my own dogs since they were eight weeks old through old age. They bring immense joy and encourage you to soak up the present moment. I can manage high energy, anxious, playful, or young dogs. I work from home during the week. I aim to fit exercise into my daily routine and having a furry companion would be a great addition! At my apartment building, there's an open-air enclosed courtyard for the residents and their furry friends to play together. I would happily take the dog to get some socialization. There are also several smaller neighborhood green areas within a couple blocks of my apartment. I'll make sure they have food, water, cuddles, regular potty breaks, and are kept at a safe distance from other animals. I also only care for one pet at a time to avoid any issues between pets from different families. Your dog will have my undivided attention. 😊
About: I grew up with lots of animals, to include dogs. I recently had to put down my 14-year-old great Dane so I have a cozy home and lots of love to give to your pups! I work a corporate 9-5 from home, during the week I typically only leave the house to run regular errands and work out. I am a bit more mobile on the weekends, but I am as flexible as needed depending on the pup I am caring for. I recently put down my 14 year-old Great Dane mutt down so my homr is still very dog friendly. I do not have a yard but am surrounded by lovely, calm, walking paths with ALLLLL the sniffs. :)

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since childhood ranging in all ages from puppies to senior dogs! I love all sorts of pets and am looking forward to caring for yours I live in a townhome with a fenced in backyard area (but with minimal grass). We are located near Lincoln Park and I take my dog there frequently, and he’d love to have your dog join us on our walks! I work in the public schools so my work schedule tends to mimic the school schedule - hours of ~8am to 3:30pm, and intermittent vacations and federal holidays! If your dog is staying with us on a work day they would need to be able to be left alone (with the company of my dog) for about 8 hours. If staying for a weekend or holiday, they would just need to be able to be left alone for a few hours! My own home is an apt and dog friendly, as I have a dog of my own! At your home, I can happily use whatever space you prefer to take care of your dog and give them all my attention.

About: Hi! I'm Krista and I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them. I recently said goodbye to my sweet and quirky 12‑year‑old German Shepherd. Caring for her throughout the years has given me experience with all the different stages from energetic pups to the oldies with mobility challenges and slower routines. My shepherd struggled with anxiety around other dogs, so I’m very familiar with reading body language, creating safe distance, and keeping walks calm and controlled. Throughout the years, I have cared for and spent ample time with doggos belonging to friends and family members and look forward to the opportunity to give others peace of mind when they need to leave their loved ones. Lots of walks, pets, play time and of course, photos/videos for owners! I work from home so there are lots of opportunities to go outside. There are a few parks nearby and lots of grassy areas. I also have dog beds, dishes and plenty of toys! Please note, my building unfortunately has restrictions on the following dog breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Malamute, Pit Bull Breeds, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Wolf Dogs. I live in a condo building but there's lots of areas outside to venture around! I do own a crate if needed/preferred. I will bring your dog on many walks and ensure they have lots of play time (for the youngins) and rest (for the oldies) :)
