“Malvi and Andrej are great. They are thoughtful about how different dogs will get along. They have a big backyard and the pups get lots of playtime outside. The first floor of their house is well set up for dogs, and they take really good care of the pups who come to spend the day. My dog has done day care at their house as well as boarding, and she comes home relaxed and happy every time.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for pets for most of my adult life. I’m the Go-to person whenever anyone I know needs a pet sitter/walker. I’ve personally owned and cared for senior pets with special needs and have a great reputation as a reliable and responsible person. I’m currently unemployed and I have ample time to make your pets happy and feel loved while you are away or working. Most of my friends say that their pets ignore them when I’m around because of all the love and affection I show them. I live in a large apartment and I have many places close by where I can walk your dog and make sure they are safe and sound while getting their daily exercise. Cats have lots of space to chill out or cuddle up with me whenever they want to.
“Angela was easy to schedule, responsive, and asked appropriate questions to confirm Fig’s care needs during her stay. She was patient with our dog’s nervous tendencies”

“This is the second time Aroa took care of Brie and I cannot recommend her enough. She gave us great updates and photos and it made us feel as ease. We will definitely be returning to Aroa when we need Brie to be looked after.”

“This was my puppy’s first time with a sitter but Christian was awesome easing his anxiety and taking great care of him. She’s very responsive, reliable , and extremely patient ! I’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Melanie was so wonderful with my foster dog Betty! Melanie was attentive to her needs, really responsive, and able to work with me at short notice. Betty will definitely be coming back to hang until she finds her furever home!”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and enjoy training dogs and puppies as a hobby. You'll be pleasantly surprised to find your dog understands a new command after staying with me for a few days! I currently work from home most days, so I've taken to this as a way to brighten up my day and help folks in the neighborhood with their pet needs. I am reliable, consistent, and follow owner's care instruction to the letter. I also take on a limited amount of clients to ensure that your pet gets quality care.
About: Hello! Stella, Sebastian and I would be happy to host your pup for the time you’re away. I work from home full time and live in a great neighborhood that has ample sidewalks and is very dog friendly. Stella is a mini bernedoodle, K9 Good Citizen certified and gets along with everyone. Your pup has run of the home like her. Welcome on the furniture. Sleeps in my bed (unless you prefer otherwise). Sebastian is a 7 month old kitten that is very bonded and plays beautifully with Stella. He loves to cuddle and be around humans and animals. My husband and I work from home full time. Stella gets walks every 3-4 hours depending upon my schedule (and the weather). If your pup requires more or less we can certainly make it work. We don’t have a yard but we live in a very walkable neighborhood that is extremely dog friendly. My home is two stories so if there’s any issue with stairs please be sure to mention that.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, lizards and rabbits at all stages of life and who often have special needs. I have fostered over 70 dogs and cats including neonatals, paraplegic and senior animals. I am comfortable with bathing, giving oral and syringe medication (to pets who don’t want it usually), expressing bladders, and most other tasks a vet would ask someone to do at home. I truly love animals and will do anything to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and well looked after. I work from home so I attend to pets needs as needed, letting the dogs out every 2-3 hours. I don’t leave the house for more than 2-3 hours at a time to accommodate their needs. I have a fully fenced yard and lots of experience keeping pets who don’t get along well separated. I know everyone takes their own time for things and I go at the speed the baby needs. Crating or separating in a different room is always an option.

“Rita was absolutely amazing with my dog, Natalie! Natalie can be reactive and typically needs time to adjust to new environments and people, but Rita went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and supported. She took the time to really understand Natalie’s needs, triggers, and what makes her happy, which made such a difference. I really appreciated the regular photo updates and how communicative she was throughout—checking in, asking thoughtful questions, and keeping me reassured the entire time. It’s clear Rita genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort, and because of that, Natalie had a great experience. I’m so grateful and would absolutely book with her again. Thank you, Rita!”
“Emily is such a great sitter she is accomidating and understadning. Winston loves going there and once he realizes where he is doing he tries pulling me to her building. Safe to say he likes his day care time with Emily”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brentwood
Murphy can be very skittish around new people, but he absolutely adored Jeff. Jeff was very accommodating with time which worked well because we were visiting DC. He helped make our trip here so much better because we knew Murphy was in good hands. Highly recommend!

We were visiting DC from out of state for the 4th and wanted to visit the Great American State Fair, and not only was it WAY too hot outside for our standard poodle, but dogs weren’t allowed in the festival. We messaged Josefa to check on her availability and within hours we were dropping our baby off and she was gracious enough to allow us an 11:30pm pickup. Josefa sent us pictures during Cliff’s stay and he looked relaxed and seemed excited to see us when we picked him up, but otherwise calm and not at all stressed. I have a feeling he just got petted and loved on the whole time he was there. Highly recommend this very responsive and super sweet sitter. Thank you again Josefa for taking such good care of our Cliff!!

Literally the best dog sitter ever!!! Dexter came home tired, and a tired dog is a good dog! This was my first time using a Rover sitter and I had such a great experience. Lots of pics and updates ◡̈ I honestly don’t even want to ever go with anyone other than Kaylee!
