I have a fenced in back patio (concrete) for easy outside time, and usually take dogs out for neighborhood walks -we can discuss specifics. There are no other pets in the house. My partner is also experienced with dogs, so there will be no shortage of love and attention. I can easily crate your dog if needed if you provide one.

Please let me know what commands your dog knows. Also I prefer dogs who have outgrown the chewy phase and I can trust with my furniture/ without putting all shoes away. I have upstairs neighbors so hypersensitive barkers may not work out well.
A typical day
I’ll play tug of war, throw a tennis ball around, etc. If your dog enjoys pets, my partner and I are always happy to provide a belly rub. The neighborhood has a dog park if needed for higher energy.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a lab mix and hound dog, and recently gained experience with Emmy, my retired bomb-sniffing, working, dog-reactive dog. I had to train her to live in a human house and handle her out and about in DC. I learned a lot about senior dogs and dog reactivity, as well as training from her. She recently passed away and my I would love to use all I've learned to take care of your pup, especially as I work from home. I've experienced dogs with arthritis and other health issues, and know how to use positive training techniques.
