About: I’ve owned and cared for animals for most of my adult life. I’m the Go-to person whenever anyone I know needs a pet sitter/walker. I’ve personally owned and cared for senior pets with special needs and have a great reputation as a reliable and responsible person. I’m currently unemployed and I have ample time to make your pets happy and feel loved while you are away or working. Most of my friends say that their pets ignore them when I’m around because of all the love and affection I show them. I live in a large apartment and I have many places close by where I can walk your dog and make sure they are safe and sound while getting their daily exercise. Cats have lots of space to chill out or cuddle up with me whenever they want to.
“Michael was great with Lucky! Felt great leaving my dog in his care. Michael took Lucky on longs walks, fed him, gave him treats, and was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“Thomas is the absolute best. He is the most reliable, communicative, and pleasant guy out there! He has walked our pup for over a year, could not recommend enough! 6 stars!!”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. Whether it’s providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes, going for walks, playing, administering basic care, or simply being a pet’s safe space while their favorite safe space is away. I have experience with both cats and dogs, and am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds! I am patient, dependable, and caring. I always follow owners’ instructions and carefully maintain a pet’s normal routine. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving loving, reliable care until you’re home again! I am currently a part time student so I have tons of time to fit into your schedule and care for your animals! I am incredibly flexible and willing to work with you so that I can provide you with reliable care. I am very attentive and responsible when it comes to any type of care. I will care and protect your animals as if they were my own, keeping them safe and cared for at all times
“We were devastated when our Rover Walker relocated to the west coast; but Rover has provided a plethora of phenomenal Walkers. Becca is pitching in during vacation. She’s so kind and responsible. She shows Frankie such care and gentleness. In fact she is so good with him that I want her to continue beyond vacation. She will be walking him two days a week providing me with a much needed morning rest. Frankie has taken to her like a stamp to a letter.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩”

“Lilla was fantastic!! Often going above and beyond to make sure our puppy had an amazing experience with her. She was very communicative and took plenty of pictures and/or video to let us know our puppy was doing well. Highly recommend and will definitely book her again whenever we need someone to walk Molly!”

“Nick was a great buddy to our dog Toby while we were out of town for several days, doing drop-in visits and morning and evening walks. He stopped by to meet Toby before we left and kept in touch throughout our trip. Would happily recommend and use again!”

About: Hello! My name is Brendan, and I recently moved to the DC area from Kansas City. I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and currently am a proud “Cat Dad” to three cats named Betty, Tigger, and Miss Kitty. I have experience taking care of cats with medical issues, including my own Miss Kitty who has diabetes and I have managed with insulin for several years. I also have experience administering pills and oral medications to cats. This is currently my only full time job, so I can be available for drop ins, dog walking, or whatever other pet care you need on whatever schedule you need!! I know and understand how important animals are so I will treat your furbabies and your home like my own, with care, consideration, and lots of love!
“Delina was fantastic! Communicative throughout, which I especially appreciated for my pup’s first rover experience, with a photo and thoughtful notes. Will definitely book again!”

“Rut took such great care of my little dachshund, Arthur. He loved going on walks with her and warmed up to her very quickly. Rut is also incredibly easy to work with. She is punctual, highly responsive, and very flexible to meet her customers' needs. I can't recommend her highly enough!”

“Wilber had a great first walk with Mike. I received a detailed report and some great pictures. Mike even received Wilber’s seal of approval via some face kisses and the opportunity to rub his belly!”

“Ciera was amazing with our cat and 100 black lab! She played with and took Charlie on walks. AND I hade to unexpectedly stay overnight and she worked me to make sure my lovable babies were tended to. Modified her schedule to care for them. I was at peace with her there. I’ll be using her again!”

About: I won't leave your friend guessing while you're away! I grew up with dogs and cats and now share my home with two wonderful kitties. I have lots of experience pet sitting for friends and family, and like them your pet will get more than just walks and food - they get a trusted friend and expert in all things zoomies and scratches. From energetic pups to curious cats, I work to ensure your family is happy, healthy, and showered with belly rubs or head scratches. And my resident felines approve! I'm a hybrid worker in DC and can make many days work to take care of your pet. However I sometimes can’t do visits in the middle of the day on weekdays because of my work and travel schedule. I also cannot commit to weekly care I work half the week from home and the other half in downtown DC, and can visit your pet almost any day of the week to give them all that they need. I have a cat of my own who I am obsessed with, and have lived with dogs my whole life. Your pets will get all the love and attention (and food) that they need, and I will love to come spend time with them to make them feel like the center of the world.

About: Hi, I’m Erika! I share my DC home with two very different dogs: Eljay, a high-energy mini Bernedoodle who needs a real workout, and Bisou, a tiny terrier mix who runs entirely on her own agenda. Caring for both of them has made me a genuinely better walker. I know what an overstimulated dog looks like. I know when a dog needs to slow down, not speed up, and when they need a little extra engagement and attention. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a mid-day potty break, playtime, medication, feeding, puppy care, senior dog care, or just some company during a long day, I’ll follow your routines and give them my full attention every single visit. What actually sets me apart is my availability. I’m a music teacher with afternoon and evening hours, so my mornings and middays are open. That’s exactly when most dogs need care. When I show up, I’m present. Your dog won’t be treated like just another stop on a long route. I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including puppies, seniors, rescue dogs, and high-energy breeds that need more than a quick loop around the block. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining the routines that help dogs feel secure and happy. Every visit includes photos and a detailed update, so you’ll always know how your dog is doing. If anything seems off, I’ll communicate right away. I proudly serve Brookland, Woodridge, Michigan Park, Edgewood, Brentwood, Capitol Hill, and nearby Northeast DC neighborhoods. I always start with a free meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s the right fit before booking. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I work as a music teacher with afternoon and evening commitments, which makes me genuinely available mid-morning and midday most days. Weekends work well too. For recurring bookings I aim for consistent timing so your pet settles into a reliable routine, and I always send a photo update so you know the visit went well. I've been around animals my whole life and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's pet seriously. I follow your instructions, respect your home, and pay attention to how your pet is feeling, whether something seems different, whether they need a little more time or a little more space that day. I'll always let you know how the visit went and reach out right away if anything gives me pause. Leaving a pet in someone's care requires real trust, and I don't take that lightly.
“Marcus is very patient and gentle with my dog. He is punctual, consistent, and communicates well. He makes sure Akira gets the outside enrichment she needs and I come home to a well exercised, happy dog after work. Thank you!”
