About: I’ve owned and cared for animals for most of my adult life. I’m the Go-to person whenever anyone I know needs a pet sitter/walker. I’ve personally owned and cared for senior pets with special needs and have a great reputation as a reliable and responsible person. I’m currently unemployed and I have ample time to make your pets happy and feel loved while you are away or working. Most of my friends say that their pets ignore them when I’m around because of all the love and affection I show them. I live in a large apartment and I have many places close by where I can walk your dog and make sure they are safe and sound while getting their daily exercise. Cats have lots of space to chill out or cuddle up with me whenever they want to.

About: Hello! My name is Brendan, and I recently moved to the DC area from Kansas City. I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and currently am a proud “Cat Dad” to three cats named Betty, Tigger, and Miss Kitty. I have experience taking care of cats with medical issues, including my own Miss Kitty who has diabetes and I have managed with insulin for several years. I also have experience administering pills and oral medications to cats. This is currently my only full time job, so I can be available for drop ins, dog walking, or whatever other pet care you need on whatever schedule you need!! I'm a hybrid worker in DC and can make many days work to take care of your pet. However I sometimes can’t do visits in the middle of the day on weekdays because of my work and travel schedule. I also cannot commit to weekly care I work half the week from home and the other half in downtown DC, and can visit your pet almost any day of the week to give them all that they need. I have a cat of my own who I am obsessed with, and have lived with dogs my whole life. What actually sets me apart is my availability. I’m a music teacher with afternoon and evening hours, so my mornings and middays are open. That’s exactly when most dogs need care. When I show up, I’m present. Your dog won’t be treated like just another stop on a long route. I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including puppies, seniors, rescue dogs, and high-energy breeds that need more than a quick loop around the block. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining the routines that help dogs feel secure and happy. Every visit includes photos and a detailed update, so you’ll always know how your dog is doing. If anything seems off, I’ll communicate right away. I always start with a free meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s the right fit before booking. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I work as a music teacher with afternoon and evening commitments, which makes me genuinely available mid-morning and midday most days. Weekends work well too. For recurring bookings I aim for consistent timing so your pet settles into a reliable routine, and I always send a photo update so you know the visit went well. I've been around animals my whole life and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's pet seriously. I follow your instructions, respect your home, and pay attention to how your pet is feeling, whether something seems different, whether they need a little more time or a little more space that day. I'll always let you know how the visit went and reach out right away if anything gives me pause. Leaving a pet in someone's care requires real trust, and I don't take that lightly.
