I have always lived with cats and dogs, been a reliable pet sitter, or both. I have taken care of animals of all ages, including puppies and kittens, senior cats and dogs, and everything in between. I have experience giving extra help to animals who may have more needs, including blind cats, asthmatic cats, and other pets that have unique medical needs. I am adept at handling and patient with young or newly adopted animals who are still learning or being trained. I have lived and taken care of animals in all climates and am happy to walk and take your dogs out in any weather. I seek out experiences where I can bond with animals and treat both my pets and others as important family members who deserve love and the best care. I am always taking photographs of the animals I watch and loving sending pet parents updates and cute pictures!

I am the first call when friends have an animal that needs to be checked on because they know I will be responsible and always excited to spend time with their pets. I am patient with animals and always prioritize building trust with every pet that I meet. I let pets get to know me on their terms and am perceptive to their needs. I appreciate that owners know their animals best and will always defer to and adjust based on your instructions, wants, and requests. I am responsible in other people's homes, respect your space, and always clean up after myself and your pets.

Galen is so consistent in her care, that’s why we continue to trust her with our two cats! It’s so nice to have a peace of mind while we’re away and we love the check in photos she takes.
It’s great knowing we can have a piece of mind while we’re out of town because we know that Galen will do a great job of checking our cats! This is the fourth time we’ve went with Galen and the quality of service remains the same (which we found had changed with other rover sitters after we rebooked them) but not Galen. I'm currently in between jobs and creating my own schedule, so I am able to visit and take care of your pets anytime! Any work I do have can be done from anywhere and I am happy to adjust my schedule as needed to make sure your animals are taken care of.
