About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young! We also just had a new addition to our family, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

About: I have been around dogs since I was a kid and got my first dog at the age of five. Besides my personal experience taking care of all the dogs my family and I have had throughout the years, I have also done dog/cat sitting (overnight and drop in) for family friends. I am extremely thorough in my care for animals as I realize they are a part of the family. I have no issues working with animals (although I have mostly worked with dogs) who have high levels of energy or specific requirements. I have also overnight sat for more than one dog at a time. I work remote and am often able to care for dogs throughout my day. With a flexible work schedule, I can ensure that I am taking care of your dog whenever works best for them! While I am in an apartment, I live alone and have a fairly large space. Additionally I am only a few blocks from various dog parks (if that is something you allow). I would do everything in my power to ensure that your pet feels that my space is a safe environment for them and will be sure to communicate frequently with the owner about any questions that arise.

While I am unable to host pets in my home (out of respect for my cats who would not appreciate frequent visitors), I am happy to come to your home and provide social engagement, walks, and potty breaks for your pet while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood and playtime with your dog’s or cat’s favorite toys.

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by pets, and have an overwhelming love for them. Over the years, I have dog walked, cat sat, watched friends and families dogs and overall gave them a safe and welcoming experience. I believe that all animals deserve a loving environment regardless who is there. I’m currently working full time, however I only go into the office once a week. My work is flexible and I often take 1-2 walk breaks a day. I thoroughly enjoy getting outside and walking. My work is also mobile and I can bring my laptop to your house if pet sitting is needed throughout the day. I am free on weekends and weekdays to pet sit and offer overnight services. I am currently not boarding animals in my home, however I will pet sit throughout the day or overnight and provide a safe and welcoming experience. I believe that all pets deserve a loving home regardless of who is staying there. I have so much love for pets and can’t wait to meet yours!

About: I have had a family dog my whole life and have cared for dogs with my partner for the past year in DC. We have had dogs with separation anxiety, old age, puppies, and both high and low energy pups. I am currently working part time so I have more than enough time for your dogs! I am available every day, depending on notice time, from morning to evening. I am willing to travel to your home for walks or check ins. Also, my apartment is available for your dog to stay in. We have a comfortable environment with a balcony and it is couch friendly!

I will adhere to all of your routines and practices, which we can discuss during a meet-and-greet or over the phone. I will walk with your dog in the areas that you generally walk them around your home.
