Beasley can be anxious and shy around new people, and Yulia was incredibly patient with her. She read the room well, offered plenty of positive reinforcement, coaxed Beasley through stressful moments, and never pushed her beyond her limits. About: I have taken care of pets since childhood and my two dogs have given me experience with different life stages from puppy to adulthood. They have different personalities and are different sizes therefore I am comfortable with a variety of dog sizes. Our lab has a lot of allergies so we have to be very careful about her food/grass and give her medicine to control her itchiness. Having two dogs means when I have a pet sitter I understand how important it is to communicate details about walking, food, and interactions with other dogs/ppl. I would love to take care of your dog and treat them as if they are a part of our family as well. I will be on sabbatical starting in August, which allows me to maintain a consistent daily routine dedicated to walking, caring for, and playing with dogs. I am fully available on both weekdays and weekends starting mid-August, with the exception of 1 week planned vacation in November. Based on my experience with my dog, my neighbors dogs, and my friends dogs I can provide walks, baths, food, playtime, dog park time, and so forth. I have had my co-workers dog stay with us as well. It is important to me that they eat their food, have expected pees/poops, and feel comfortable in a new environment. If there is anything odd or unexpected I will message right away to confirm if its normal. I love taking pictures and sending them. About: I’ve always had cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two dogs and now have two cats in the city! Can’t wait to meet your pet! Currently a student so I have a flexible schedule, so weekday drop ins and walks should be easy to schedule! Mondays and Tuesdays are my busiest days. I have two friendly cats who have regularly interacted with other cats. I would love to take dogs for long walks to help tire them out and keep them entertained!

About: During the day, I spend time with my cat and a very young kitten, which involves socializing them together. Recently I have started doing side-gigs for friends and neighbors, traveling to their homes to take care of their cats. I really love getting to know the personality of each pet and doing what keeps them happy and fed while their person is away! With every pet, I develop a special private bond just between us :) I work from home during the weekdays which allows me to travel and pet-sit, and I can make time on weekday evenings as well. on weekends, I’m also quite flexible and available to travel for pet care. I like coming in and immediately giving the baby some love and feeding them, so they’re not starved for attention or food! Then I tend to go around and refresh water, clean up after the pet, take them for a walk or clean a little box, and then I try to spend more time playing with or living on the pets I’m caring for before I go

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!
