About: I've taken care of elderly dogs and cats that need daily medications and frequent potty breaks, along with puppies and kittens with boundless energy requiring multiple walks a day or a lot of play time! I have specifically worked with blind dogs and dogs and cats requiring specialized diets for kidney disease. Dogs and cats are amazing companions and deserve nothing but the best care. I have availability all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thursdays. I’m also free before 1 PM on Wednesdays. I’m less flexible on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, but feel free to ask for availability on these days as well! As someone with many years of pet sitting experience, I’m very attuned to all types of fur baby personalities. Whether your pet is shy or outgoing, I will read their social cues and adjust my care as necessary.

About: I grew up living with and caring for two large bloodhounds and 3 cats. I love all animals and love making senior animals feel comfortable. I’m a student so I have a predictable schedule with breaks for pet care! I’m available most mornings and evenings and I have breaks in the afternoon. I’m confident walking and caring for dogs of all sizes. I am also confident in managing more than one animal at once and enforcing training and rules.
“Sarah was phenomenal. We have a new pup that’s very anxious about strangers in the home and was giving her a hard time barking at her. She was so very patient and stayed longer than was required to work his confidence up to warm up to her. Her professionalism and kindness took a lot of anxiety off of us new dog parents! We will certainly be using her services again.”

“Becky has been a huge help and our pup has loved getting daytime walks and runs at the park with her! She is easy to get in touch with and has been a reliable help. We happily continue to request Becky whenever she is available!”

“Jondle was great with our older (and sometimes stubborn) French bulldog! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and made a point to come meet me and Eloise before she started caring for her.”

About: I grew up around large dogs and I am comfortable and enjoy around all kinds of dogs, I love to go on runs and walks of all lengths! I am currently job searching and hoping to fill some free time with dog walking. My availability is very flexible especially during the typical work week. Has past experience walking large and jumpy dogs, and lives in very walkable area. Also comfortable playing with dogs to get some extra energy out!
“Brendan was an awesome addition to our busy schedules. The communication between Brendan and myself was top tier. Always on time and making our Moni feel extra cared for. Thank you so much for helping our family.”

“Naa Kuorkor has done an amazing job with Charlie. She’s been detailed with how the walks went and making sure that Charlie is content. She’s consistent with clear communication. I highly recommend her for your dog walking needs :)”

About: I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals and taking care of them. I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats including my own since I was in middle school so for over 10 years now. So naturally I’m familiar with daily walks and feeding schedules and making sure that the pets get the best possible care that they need. I’ve taken care of my friends and family friends cats and dogs including gerbils and many other small animals, making sure that they are fed and comfortable and well taken care of while their own were away and understanding their different needs. As of right now,I have 2 beautiful cats of my own who I cherish so much that I’ve been caring for over 3 years. I’m patient, reliable, and always focused on making sure pets feels safe, clean and well cared for Pet care is already a part of my daily routine since I care for my two cats every day. I’m used to maintaining feeding schedules, cleaning, and making sure they are comfortable and well cared for. I also have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to fit in visits, walks, or check-ins throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my weekly routine. have two cats of my own who freely roam in a safe and comfortable home environment. I make sure they are well fed, their litter boxes are clean, and that they feel relaxed and cared for every day. When caring for an owner’s pet, I always follow their specific instructions and routines closely. I understand that every pet is different, so I make sure to respect their preferences and keep them comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Caden did an amazing job during all the summer time with weekly walks with my Benny, reliable and trustworthy. Sometimes on my request, because of the rain he was willing to change the schedule time to avoid benny being outside during rainstorm. I highly recommend!”

About: I love dogs and cats, and miss my own pets as I’m away from home. So I would love to help take care of your pets when you need an extra hand! My availability is during weekends for drop-ins/walks, but can be flexible for days. I can’t wait to hear more about your pet, just reach out! I work full-time, so I am mostly free on weekends. That can be any time on the weekend, and if needed, can try for weekdays after work. For drop-ins, I will play with your pets and brush them if they enjoy that! And for dogs, would love them to take them for a stroll so we can both get our steps in!
“Great communication, especially for a very last minute dog walk. Nikko was happy and fed when I got home. I would recommend Rut and definitely use her again.”

About: Hello! I grew up with dogs and have taken care of them since college. I have experience with big dogs (including pitbulls), small dogs, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs. I also have experience administering medication. I’d be thrilled to meet your fur baby - let’s chat! I work from home, so I’m available to care for your pet in the mornings, around lunchtime, and the evenings. I don’t travel often, so I am a reliable source for routine care, as well. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and no other pets, so your furry friend will feel secure and safe. I’m also more than happy to stop by your home to feed, play with, and or/walk your pet if you prefer in-home care.
“Jamie is great with my pup Pico! He is adjusting to my work in office schedule and Jamie was flexible to check in on him twice just to make sure he was doing ok. Highly recommend her for your dog!”

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

About: I have been dog sitting since I was fourteen for family members and friends. I am comfortable with dogs of any size. I have experience with dogs of all ages and am comfortable giving medications. I volunteer with Lucky Dogs and take shelter dogs for walks every Friday and assist with handling them at events. I am currently working part time remotely, so I can either stop in to visit your dog or work from your home. I would prefer working from your home, so I can give your dog as much attention as possible! I am very flexible and want your dog to be as comfortable as possible. If I am not staying at the home, I will stop by a maximum of two times a day. Once between 7am to 9am, and once after 4 pm. On the weekends I would be able to stop by three times. During the evenings I would stay longer allowing your pets to have more play time and/or be taken for a walk. My schedule is very flexible!

Jillian is so thorough when getting to know your dog before hand and realllly cares about animals. I immediately felt safe with her taking care of my most treasured buddy in life. I am so happy I found someone I can trust to walk Zoobey and care for her the way I would. And Zoobey LOVES her. 10/10 would recommend!
