Yulia was excellent with our dog Beasley! She was punctual, kind, and incredibly communicative -- and sent a thorough "Rover report card" with photos after each walk. Beasley can be anxious and shy around new people, and Yulia was incredibly patient with her. She read the room well, offered plenty of positive reinforcement, coaxed Beasley through stressful moments, and never pushed her beyond her limits. She even stayed a bit longer at the dog park to let Beasley decompress. We can't wait to book her again!

About: I have taken care of pets since childhood and my two dogs have given me experience with different life stages from puppy to adulthood. They have different personalities and are different sizes therefore I am comfortable with a variety of dog sizes. Our lab has a lot of allergies so we have to be very careful about her food/grass and give her medicine to control her itchiness. Having two dogs means when I have a pet sitter I understand how important it is to communicate details about walking, food, and interactions with other dogs/ppl. I would love to take care of your dog and treat them as if they are a part of our family as well. I will be on sabbatical starting in August, which allows me to maintain a consistent daily routine dedicated to walking, caring for, and playing with dogs. I am fully available on both weekdays and weekends starting mid-August, with the exception of 1 week planned vacation in November. Based on my experience with my dog, my neighbors dogs, and my friends dogs I can provide walks, baths, food, playtime, dog park time, and so forth. I have had my co-workers dog stay with us as well. It is important to me that they eat their food, have expected pees/poops, and feel comfortable in a new environment. If there is anything odd or unexpected I will message right away to confirm if its normal. I love taking pictures and sending them. Anything that could be improved with their care please let me know!

About: I’ve always had cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two dogs and now have two cats in the city! Can’t wait to meet your pet! Currently a student so I have a flexible schedule, so weekday drop ins and walks should be easy to schedule! Mondays and Tuesdays are my busiest days. I have two friendly cats who have regularly interacted with other cats. I would love to take dogs for long walks to help tire them out and keep them entertained!

About: Lover of all animals with experience growing up with dogs & cats. I would love to take care of your baby when you need a hand. Plus, they make me happy! I work remotely so I can do walks or pet care during the week too. Also happy to spend time on the weekends caring for them. I have a low maintenance cat so I’m more than happy to go to your home to take care of your pets when needed.

About: During the day, I spend time with my cat and a very young kitten, which involves socializing them together. Recently I have started doing side-gigs for friends and neighbors, traveling to their homes to take care of their cats. I really love getting to know the personality of each pet and doing what keeps them happy and fed while their person is away! With every pet, I develop a special private bond just between us :) I work from home during the weekdays which allows me to travel and pet-sit, and I can make time on weekday evenings as well. on weekends, I’m also quite flexible and available to travel for pet care. I like coming in and immediately giving the baby some love and feeding them, so they’re not starved for attention or food! Then I tend to go around and refresh water, clean up after the pet, take them for a walk or clean a little box, and then I try to spend more time playing with or living on the pets I’m caring for before I go

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for multiple dogs at once, from small breeds to large breeds with different personalities and needs. In addition to growing up with dogs, I’ve provided pet sitting through platforms like Nextdoor and Facebook and have cared for family pets while working as a nanny. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and maintaining routines. As an elementary school teacher, I’m patient, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My availability varies by season. During the summer, I’m available most days and many weeks for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight stays. During the school year (September–June), I’m generally available after 4:00 p.m., as I teach elementary school during the day. I’m also a graduate student and typically have evening classes two nights a week, but I keep my calendar updated so you can always see my current availability. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or stopping by for a visit, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and plenty of affection. I know every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and any special instructions you have. As an elementary school teacher, I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to details, and I’ll treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals and taking care of them. I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats including my own since I was in middle school so for over 10 years now. So naturally I’m familiar with daily walks and feeding schedules and making sure that the pets get the best possible care that they need. I’ve taken care of my friends and family friends cats and dogs including gerbils and many other small animals, making sure that they are fed and comfortable and well taken care of while their own were away and understanding their different needs. As of right now,I have 2 beautiful cats of my own who I cherish so much that I’ve been caring for over 3 years. I’m patient, reliable, and always focused on making sure pets feels safe, clean and well cared for Pet care is already a part of my daily routine since I care for my two cats every day. I’m used to maintaining feeding schedules, cleaning, and making sure they are comfortable and well cared for. I also have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to fit in visits, walks, or check-ins throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my weekly routine. have two cats of my own who freely roam in a safe and comfortable home environment. I make sure they are well fed, their litter boxes are clean, and that they feel relaxed and cared for every day. When caring for an owner’s pet, I always follow their specific instructions and routines closely. I understand that every pet is different, so I make sure to respect their preferences and keep them comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, including a family dog I cared for for over 10 years. Now I have a 1 yr old puppy who keeps me active and experienced with all things puppy related . Because I’ve cared for both young and senior dogs, I’m comfortable with many different needs and personalities. I’ll always treat your pets like family and keep you updated while you’re away! As a dental student, my weekly schedule is flexible and allows plenty of time for pet care. If you have any questions feel free to reach out :) Safety is my top priority. In my home, I supervise pets closely, keep harmful items out of reach, and provide a calm, clean environment for them to relax in. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully, maintain routines, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure.

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!
