About: I have had two dogs and a cat from puppies to old age. I am responsible for making sure they were walked, fed, and played with. I would love to come to where your animals are to help them feel comfortable while you are away. I work a 9-5 job, but I am happy to take care of your pet on a night or weekend in the Brookland NE area. I live in an apartment that does not allow animals but I am happy to come to your place and walk them, let them out, and stay with them.

My cat is going through chemo + has asthma, and finding a sitter who’s not just able but also enthusiastic to care for him can be tough because of how anxiety-inducing it is to leave him! Emily’s check-ins were great, her responsiveness and awareness of his health a solid 10/10, and the photos she sent were adorable. She did great at pilling him, giving him his inhaler, and even cleaning up after him when he had GI issues - the apartment looked just the way we left it when we came back! :) She also went above and beyond when it came to monitoring Bobby’s cancer/treatment symptoms, and reached out instantly if anything concerning ever popped up. You can really tell she loves cats, and it shows in how she cared for Bobby. I’ll definitely be reaching out the next time we need a sitter, and I’d recommend her to anyone who wants to leave their baby in good hands.”

About: hello! I’ve been a pet sitter for quite some time. I’ve taken care of dogs on and off over the years. I was a Rover house-sitter for 2 years and then took a break for travels and work. I’m now back to dog sitting and doggy day care! I’m happy to do long-term pet sitting, I tend to have a flexible schedule. I had a dog my own for 10 years, he was a small to medium sized Pomeranian. I now have another dog, he’s 3 years old and a greyhound-lab mix. He’s very mellow and really great with other dogs. He’s very well trained and responds to English and Spanish. I’m currently working from home. So, I am able to pet-sit throughout the day, take them on walks, and provide attentive care. I am available on weekends, as well. Your dog will be comfortable with me and my dog in our apartment. They won’t be alone and will have continuous company, either from me or my dog. Llano (Yano) is a mellow dog, so he tends to be easy going. I can take them on walks around the neighborhood. I am able to be there for them and keep a steady schedule for walking, feeding, and play time. My house does not have a fence, therefore they will not be off leash at any point outside. I can provide general care, meal prep, and brushing if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of my own and friends’ dogs very frequently, including helping to train my family’s dog growing up. I’ve also taken care of my sister’s dog several times for many days at a time. I have watched my friends’ dogs and cats as well many times before, and always treat them with love, attention, and care. I’ve assisted my friends with training their dogs previously in short sessions and have boarded them a few times. I’m currently working full-time in a hybrid role with flexible hours and in office days, so I can adjust my schedule to your pet care needs! I’m relatively active as well, so expect walks to be frequent (if desired!). Other than going into my office, I tend to stay local in the area so am usually available. I have a clean apartment with furniture that the pet is allowed on. I also have a turf area on my rooftop that allows for easy access for potty breaks. I know of several quiet street blocks I can take dogs on walks to. I’m very attentive to the pets normal schedules for eating, walking, potty breaks, and sleeping.
