About: We've had our pup since 3 months old so I have experience with puppies and adult dogs. I jog with our dog so if your pup is energetic that's my jam. My kids are 9 and 12 and would love nothing more than to snuggle your pup (our dog is not much for snuggling) and I stay home so have plenty of time to care for your fluffy companion. Before we got our dog we dog sat for every friend in town - my kids spent a few years asking for a dog :) I stayed home with my kids but now they're 9 and 12 so I have plenty of time during the day. My schedule is 100% flexible weekdays 8AM - 4PM and my kids are begging for a second dog so your pup will be well loved. Our dog (a 45lb mutt) doesn't go upstairs or in our basement apartment so everyone has plenty of room to spread out. We have a fenced in back yard and plenty of space in the house (three floors and our pup doesn't go in the basement apartment or on the second floor).

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

If I am not staying at the home, I will stop by a maximum of two times a day. Once between 7am to 9am, and once after 4 pm. On the weekends I would be able to stop by three times. During the evenings I would stay longer allowing your pets to have more play time and/or be taken for a walk. My schedule is very flexible!

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog.
