About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and currently own Gullu, a 10 yr old rescue. I have experience managing all ages and sizes of dogs, with varying medical conditions and unique needs. I successfully trained Gullu out of her separation anxiety with a lot of love and patience, and the joy of seeing her blossom makes me believe in every dog’s potential! I work full time from home. I have a set schedule for my dog Gullu as I walk her 4-5 times a day. On weekends I do extra long walks to ensure she gets enough exercise. I live in a 1500 sq ft apartment with a large living space. I also have a very sweet and friendly 10 year old rescue, Gullu who is a small 25 lbs mixed breed. She is very gentle, minds her own business and has no issues sharing space or toys. I can crate your dog if needed.

My crazy dog Jax is typically not the most trusting, especially towards men, but he took to liking Max quickly and would gallop to him the moment he realized I was dropping him off. Max watched Jax for several months and was always professional, kind, caring, patient and consistent with Jax, despite Jax's behavioral quirks. He goes above and beyond when watching pets. For example he acquired a scooter and skateboard to provide exposure and positive reinforcement around those items to Jax. Max is easily worth at least triple his current rate for watching pets and is basically a community fairly god parent to the pets and pet owners of Columbia Heights for what he does. I can't recommend him enough.”

About: I have taken care of animals and been around animals my entire life. I love both cats and dogs, and have a dog at home! I have plenty of free time during the week. I am typically traveling on weekends and work Wednesdays but otherwise am available at all hours. About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!
