“Ryan was a consummate professional. Communicative. Timely replies. Polite. I’d give him 6 stars if I could. Your furry friend is in good hands with him!”

“Tamara was fantastic! She communicated with me really well both during the booking process and during her visits. Clemmie and Winston seemed very happy and comfortable with her (which is not always the norm for them) and they didn't seem anxious at all when I returned. They were in great hands!”

“Hanna was amazing with my pretty evil cat! She was super communicative, incredibly friendly and was able to help me out on short notice. I very much would recommend Hanna for any cat sitting need!”
About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, especially cats, so I naturally understand their needs and unique personalities. Even though I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs through friends and family — from puppies who need full attention to older dogs who need extra patience and care. I also have experience giving pets oral medication, so I’m comfortable following special routines. My goal is to always give each pet the same love, comfort, and attention I’d want for my own! I am currently a full-time student at Howard University so I have class everyday. With any free time I have on my hands not studying or in class, I’d love to help! Im happy to take your pets on walks, give them fresh food and water, and spend quality time with them so they feel cared for while you're away. Im gentle and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Building trust is very important to me, and treat one like my own! :)
“Super responsive and professional and nice. Moxie (cat) loves him and is super sweet with him, so she knows he's trustworthy. The photos in rover cards are adorable.”

“Navya took such great care of our kitty cat while we were away! She went to check on her the same time every day and sent updates and pictures about how she was doing. Zuzu was a happy girl when we got home and very well taken care of! We will definitely book Navya again when we’re in need of someone to take care of our baby.”

About: I have over ten years of experience dog-sitting a variety of breeds large and small. I joined Rover in 2018 and have had great experiences with it. Currently I'm not able to dog-sit at my home due to my building's rules, but I'm available for dog-walking and drop-in visits on weekends. The feedback I get most often is that I'm very communicative and proactive in keeping you updated while your pet is in my care. And I take lots of pictures! I'm good with all kinds of dogs - from small dogs who just like to take a few laps around the block, to active dogs who need more exercise. I also have experience cat-sitting. I work full-time and the building I currently live in is not very dog-friendly. As a result, I'm not currently able to dog-sit but am available for dog-walking and drop-ins on weekends. I can be available any time of day on Saturdays and Sundays. I am happy to come walk your dog any time of day on weekends, so just let me know what time(s) I'm needed and we'll also go over how to access your home so I can pick up your dog and drop him or her off. Same goes with drop-in visits for dogs and cats: just let me know what time you need me to swing by and I'm happy to do so.
“Sarah was flexible, reliable, and very communicative. My cat definitely struggles with some separation anxiety and frequently seems agitated when I get home from a trip, but I came home to a happy kitty thanks to Sarah! I would absolutely book her again.”

“My cat LOVED Gracie! She did a great job caring for her and I really appreciated getting lots of photos and videos. We will definitely book Gracie again.”

About: I have been trusted to take care of dogs, cats, and even birds since I was 12. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to provide loving care to their pets. I am dedicated to providing individualized care to your pet, based on their needs. I am newly pursuing a masters degree and maintaining part-time work. I am excited that this transition has allowed me to commit more availability to Rover. My calendar is reflective of my availability when I am not in-person at work or at school. I love walking around the city and spending time with animals, so caring for your pets is something that I look forward to incorporating into my new routine! I have been trusted to care for pets in their owners’ homes since I was 12. I will show you and your home respect as I provide loving care to your pet.
“Amazing! She took wonderful care of my cats. They’re very shy, but she was so patient and kind with them, giving them the time and space they needed to feel comfortable. I truly appreciated her approach and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!”

“Carol was amazing with my Peanut!! She made her comfortable and engaged with her (although Peanut can be a bit feisty) I’m very particular about who watches her and will absolutely book with Carol next time!”

“We felt very comfortable having Skylar check in on our cats while we were gone for nearly two weeks. She is reliable and our boys were well-cared for and happy upon our return. Thank you and would book again!!!”

“Taylor was super responsive and attentive throughout Movingui's stay. She kept us updated and took the initiative when the food robot disconnected. Our cat, who’s a bit picky, was spoiled with cuddles for 15 days! I’m sure Movingui can’t wait to see Taylor again. We highly recommend her 100%! 😊🐾”

U Street Corridor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Logan was great! I had some recent health issues and it completely slipped my mind that I would be out of town and needed a sitter. Despite a last minute booking, she was incredibly communicative and took care of our cats as if they were her own. Even our shy cat seemed to adore her from the very first day. We would definitely have her watch them again!

I had a great experience with Bo! She took wonderful care of Fletcher while I was away and gave me real peace of mind. It was clear when I got home that Fletcher was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Communication was great throughout the stay, and I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave her. I would absolutely book with Bo again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!
