About: My own golden retriever lived to nearly 15, and caring for her through every stage of life is what gave me a real understanding of what dogs need and what their owners worry about. I don’t take that lightly when I’m caring for someone else’s dog and I treat each one as if they were my own! I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and personalities, from brand-new puppies to seniors, and from the shyest wallflowers to the most enthusiastic greeters. I’m comfortable with leash training for puppies and administering supplements and medications for older dogs with established routines. Midday walks are one of my favorite parts of the day, and I’m also available for drop-in visits when that’s all your pup needs. Either way, you can count on your dog getting genuine, attentive care while you’re away. As a remote worker, I have a flexible day and would love to break it up with outdoor activities with your dog! Aside from times when I have meetings, I am available to go and let out your pet or go for an outdoor activity. I always defer to the owners instructions for a visit and follow them to a tee. Whether your dog just needs a quick outing and play time inside or a longer walk in a certain route, I am able to provide whatever your dog needs to have a good visit!

I’m reliable, responsive, and committed to making sure pets stick to their normal routines while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and any special instructions. Safety is my top priority, whether that means using secure leashes, following feeding schedules, administering basic care, or making sure pets are comfortable in their environment. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own.

About: My past work as a veterinary technician has provided me with years of experience caring for diverse breeds, specializing in coordinating complex feeding schedules and managing senior pets with health needs. I prioritize a safe and calm environment for every animal. I have been retired for two years, which makes me available all hours of the day. I am flexible with providing care on weekends as well as weekdays. If it is your wish that I do so, I am available to stay with your pet in your home if needed. Your pet will receive the same care I would provide to my own

About: Growing up in Peru, I had a Yorkshire Terrier for 15 years- so dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! 🐾 For the past two years I’ve called Washington DC home, and it’s been the best decision. My sister has the most adorable Schnauzer, and caring for her here has been such a joy :) from discovering the city’s best dog parks together to stepping up when she had a medical emergency and needed extra attention and care. That experience only deepened my love and confidence with dogs. I moved to DC for my master’s degree, and right now I’m in a transition period between jobs, which means I have a wonderfully flexible schedule and can give pets the time and attention they truly deserve. One of my favorite things about this city? Exploring it on foot, and honestly, everything is better with a furry companion by my side. 🐶🌿 I’m currently in a career transition, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can adapt to your needs- mornings, afternoons, weekdays or weekends, I’m here! 🐾 I love getting outside and going on long walks, and after two years in DC I’ve gotten to know some great dog-friendly parks and shady routes- especially handy during those hot summer months! About: I just graduated from law school and am studying for the bar exam this summer! I definitely need to get out of the house for breaks throughout the day and would love to spend that time walking your dog:) I am available during the day most days, as I am currently studying. So all of my time outside of pet care is dedicated to that! I have an apartment, so for boarding dogs they should be ok with an elevator! I try to take dogs out every 2 hours depending on their needs. There are a lot of green spaces near my apartment, as well as a dog park 4!blocks away!

About: I have a few years of pet sitting experience in my hometown, and I am looking forward to continuing to do so now that I am in college! I have had pets my whole life, ranging from dogs and cats to birds and lizards! I enjoy bringing my cat to volunteer with me at assisted living homes, and I have treated pets with various health issues as well. I am currently a full time college student, however I am available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I may also be available during the week, depending on my schedule. I will be on break starting in early may and ending in late August, but I will continue sitting when I come back! Safety is of the utmost importance, therefore I will always check that doors and gates are closed and that leashes and harnesses are securely fastened. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and will always communicate effectively with owners when necessary. Furthermore, I have experience providing care for pets with medical conditions, and will be able to provide that service if needed.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, especially cats, so I naturally understand their needs and unique personalities. Even though I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs through friends and family — from puppies who need full attention to older dogs who need extra patience and care. About: I grew up caring for my own dog Daisy! I was responsible for feeding her, walking her, and washing her. I also have experience pet-sitting both cats and dogs for 5+ consecutive days. As a recent graduate from George Washington University, I have lots of availability to take care of your pets! I’m very flexible and accept booking on short notice. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, including all kinds of breeds, temperaments, and personalities. (Huskies, shepherds, labs, corgis, & poodles big and small). All of my friends and family trust me to house sit and pet sit. I have house sat for a family friend with 2 dogs and 8 cats and I know all of their names and what makes them feel loved and respected. I am in the Dupont office Tuesday-Thursday and constantly attending hearings and events around D.C.. I don’t have to be in the office until 10:00 and I can be out by 5. On other days my schedule varies based on what time hearings and events are. Not available Thursday evenings as I have a class from 6:30-9:30 Ensure all pets have ample water and portioned food. Whether it’s petting, playing, walking, or just sitting with the animal, I ensure all pets get the attention they need and prefer. Very successful with administering ear and oral medicine for all kinds of pets. I am also adaptable with any specific needs or requests for you or your furry companions.

About: Hi I’m Sophia and I am happiest when I am surrounded by animals! I’ve had my dog Zeus for 6 years. He’s reactive so I’ve dedicated myself to learning everything I can about force-free reactivity training. He’s come a long way and I now feel comfortable and confident walking reactive dogs. I grew up with several dogs and rabbits and helped care for them into their senior years. I also have many friends with cats that I enjoy hanging out with. In high school, I volunteered at animal shelters and still love to help out and donate when I can. I treat every animal individually and love to get to know them slowly at their pace to make them feel comfortable and safe. I work a lot of night shifts during the week so I’m happy to take care of your pet during the daytime while you’re at work or out of the house. I am also sometimes available on weekends it just depends on my shift schedule. I am an extremely detail-oriented person. I’m ready to follow your instructions to the T and will likely ask several follow-up questions to ensure I understand everything 100%. I consider my dog to be my fur baby and will therefore treat your pet with the highest care and attention to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable and secure.
