About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have experience caring for pets for multiple families, as well as working as a dog walker. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand how important it is to give each pet individualized attention and care. I am a graduate student at George Washington University working towards my master's in anatomical and translational sciences. I am also on the rowing team and rowing D1 for my 5th year. My schedule allows me plenty of availability between classes and practices to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I will care for your pets by following your instructions closely and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Depending on each pet’s needs and personality, I’m happy to provide plenty of walks and playtime to burn off energy, regular bathroom breaks, or lots of cuddles. My goal is to make sure every pet receives the attention and care they need while you’re away.

About: I grew up with rescue dogs my whole life and adopted a senior chihuahua in 2020 who we lost a few months ago. We aren’t quite ready to adopt again, but are really missing the love of a dog in our lives and would love to shower your baby in love!! We still have dog beds, treats, stairs to get on the bed, etc. that we would love to put to use. I work from home Thursday and Friday so am opening my schedule only those days and weekend to ensure I can give pups the attention and care they deserve. We live in a super walkable neighborhood and I’m happy to walk them every 2-4 hours. We are homebodies and will give lots of snuggles and love. Don’t have other pets or kids. Myself and my wife will be around and both have lots of experience from caring for our dog Toby who recently passed. Dogs are allowed on the couch and bed. We don’t have a yard but our neighborhood is super walkable and we live near a dog park if that is of interest (would never take the dog there unless specifically requested).

About: I have had pets for all 24 years of my life! I love taking care of animals! I am a GW grad student who is looking to earn some money in an honest and hard-working way. I am very responsible and communicate. I am very detail-oriented and prioritize care/safety for your pet. I am currently in class M-T 8-4! I am free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all day everyday. I sometimes have exams Friday morning but are completed asynchronously. I am very dedicated to work. I am a very careful & meticulous person, I am always looking to clean the pets bowl, make sure they use the restroom, and are fed and hydrated. The animals comfort is my number one priority and to ensure keeping them safe. I like to build trust as well by having a meeting beforehand wether that is in person or over facetime.

About: I’ve been in the care of various pets all of my life — from fishes, hermit crabs, and guinea pigs, to now my 10 year old Westie that we’ve cared for from puppy to senior. As such, I’m comfortable with puppy energy, senior care, and everything in between, and will treat all pets with the patience, love, and attention they deserve. I’m a full time student with various availability day-to-day — including a mix of mornings, evenings, and nights — outside of a consistent class schedule. I’ll make sure to adhere to your rules and expectations, including keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible and treating your space with care and respect. I follow all care and house instructions exactly as given and ensure the security of your home, as well as have emergency contact information on hand. I deeply value communication — if there were any confusion or discrepancy, I’d make sure to reach out right away rather than guess or improvise.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from a Lab puppy to a Great Dane, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’m a big dog lover, and since I don’t have a dog of my own in the city, I’d love to spend some time with yours! Whether it’s going on long walks, playing outside, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to give them plenty of attention and care. I work full-time in Washington, D.C., but am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as weeknights starting at 5:30 PM. I’m also flexible on holidays! I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment, but I’d be happy to check in on your dog in your home! I will always make sure they have food and water, get some playtime/exercise, and get outside for bathroom breaks.

I’ve provided drop-in visits and overnight care for neighbors, family, and clients throughout the DMV area, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently have availability for consistent evening walking opportunities in my area and would love to help keep your dog happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I also own a cat and available for cat sitting as well. With the exception of a few weekends for my personal vacations, I am flexible most weeknights and weekends. I work remotely and will be able to do day drop ins. I have a beautiful golden Irish dog who loves to be outside and play with her toys! I take her to play dates at the local park and walk her through the woods on the weekends. If I am doing an overnight stay with your dog, I will make sure they have proper exercise and that we don’t stray too far away from their normal routine. I will take them on walks, ample play time in the backyard or park and will give them as much love and attention as you!

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life, and I get that every dog is different. Whether it’s keeping up with a high energy pup, giving extra care to a senior, or just sticking to their usual routine, I’m all about making them feel happy and comfortable. I’m good at reading their cues, so they’ll always feel safe, loved, and cared for. Your dog will be in good hands. I work full-time but have late afternoons, evenings, and weekends free, which gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals! My husband and I live in a small apartment in the city, and while we’d love to have a pet of our own, our frequent travels and days at the office make it tricky right now. Pet sitting is a great way for me to connect with animals, share my love for them, and save a little extra toward our dream of buying our first home. I live in a small condo in the city with my husband. However, it is a safe and cozy place. I LOVE doing hiking so if it is a dog I would be more than happy to take them in adventures and if it is a cat I would be happy to chill at home.
