About: Hi! I’m Danielle, and I’m excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve had two very special dogs in my life—a Lhasa Apso and a Yorkie—who were both loved and cared for all the way into their senior years. I loved taking them on walks, playing with them, spending time together, and making sure they always felt safe, happy, and loved. Since losing them, I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own, but I truly miss having a pup around. Rover feels like the perfect way for me to continue enjoying the companionship of dogs while giving your furry family member the attention and care they deserve. I especially have a soft spot for small dogs and would love to be their walking buddy, playmate, or companion while you’re away. Whether your pup needs a nice walk, some playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to help. As someone new to Rover, I’m looking forward to building trust with both you and your pet. I’ll treat your pup like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. 🐶❤️ I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I work full-time in the Arlington area with a hybrid schedule, working from home 2–3 days a week. I’m also attending school part-time virtually, which gives me additional flexibility throughout the week. My schedule allows me to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pup, especially on my work-from-home days and weekends. I live in the DC area and can be flexible with scheduling depending on your pet’s needs and location. I’m happy to work with you to establish a routine that keeps your pet comfortable, happy, and well cared for! 🐾 I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a separate den, which provides a comfortable and cozy space for your pet. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow your normal routine as closely as possible. For overnight stays, I work nearby and have a hybrid schedule, so I’m able to come home during my lunch break to let your pup out for a potty break and midday walk. I also live in a very walkable area, making it easy to provide regular walks and plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I grew up taking care of two dogs (one large one small) and several cats. I also used to pet sit while a full time graduate student. I also have experience caring for senior pets! I am currently working full time, but could come by and walk a pet with a lot of flexibility. I am also available nights and weekends. I am happy to pet sit for an extended period so you can take a vacation without worry! While I live in an apartment that may not be perfect for a dog who needs to run, I live near several nice parks. I am happy to come over and watch your pet in their home if you'd prefer.

About: I have been both a cat and dog owner, and have taken care of friends' pets before. I do not have experience training puppies or taking care of senior or special needs animals! But I am responsible, responsive, and flexible. I like going for walks and also just relaxing with your pets at home. I am also more than happy to do other services like feeding fish/other small pets, watering plants, and taking in mail for longer house sitting bookings. I recently graduated with my masters at Duke and moved to DC as an analyst. I sometimes travel for work, and those days are always blocked off on my calendar. When I’m not traveling, I can work virtually. I can do any type of pet care in the afternoon/evenings. I can also do longer pet sitting the whole day so long as there is a desk and wifi in your home for me to work. I will not be offering pet boarding in my home, but rest assured I will treat your own home with the utmost respect. I have no interest in your personal belongings, and I would never leave behind a mess. I'm just a 20-something looking to go for walks to slim down and make extra money to put toward my student loans.

About: My family has always had dogs running around our house so I have grown up with such a love for animals, and I currently have a 5 year old greyhound/chihuahua mix. I would love to help anyone with their pets whether that be walks, drop ins or overnight visits! I have experience with each of these both with my own dogs as well as friends' and family's dogs and cats. I am a very active and energetic person so I would be up for lots of playtime and walking/running depending on what your dog needs.
