About: Hi! I’m Johnny, and I grew up on a ranch in Colorado, where caring for animals was a part of everyday life. I was raised around horses, dogs, cats, and other animals, so being responsible for their care has been second nature since I was young. Throughout my life, I’ve continued to care for pets and understand that every animal has its own personality, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Professionally, I’ve worked in high-trust positions on Capitol Hill and at the Smithsonian, where reliability, communication, and attention to detail were essential. I’ll bring that same level of professionalism to caring for your pets and your home. I know leaving a pet with someone else can be stressful, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages and treat your furry family member like one of my own. Im a proud cat dad to a wild orange cat named Cheeter! My schedule is currently flexible, giving me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and attentive care. I’m available during weekdays and weekends and will communicate clearly about timing. I live in a comfortable apartment in Dupont Circle with access to a fantastic fenced-in shared courtyard for supervised outdoor time. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, maintain their pet’s normal routine, and prioritize safety, cleanliness, and plenty of individual attention.

About: I am a retired volunteer with City Kitties and Dogs, and have been doing Rover for a few years now! I grew up with rescue dogs and continue to find so much joy in hanging with dogs and cats for the day. I know how important pets are (they’re family!) so yours will always be getting that 5 star treatment and care! :-) I currently WFH 3 days a week and am looking for a furry friend to keep me company! I am up in the mornings around 7am, and have a pretty relaxed job which means lots of time for walks, play, and potty breaks. Your pets safety is my top priority. I will be sure to follow all protocols, take details seriously, and keep an eye on your pet at all times of service!

About: I have 12+ years of experience walking and caring for my own medium to large reactive dogs. Additionally I am a frequent shelter volunteer where I walk dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I have senior experience and am comfortable assisting small to medium sized dogs on stairs or on walks as needed. I am “fear free” certified. I make my own schedule and can be fairly flexible during the weekdays for walks or drop-ins with 24 hours notice. I care for my own dog no matter the weather! I will refill any water bowls, clean up accidents if necessary, and follow any entrance/building instructions. If you have a specific walking route please let me know. Please let me know if your dog is elevator reactive or has any triggers in the building.
