“Very conscientious and attentive to our pet and home. Highly recommend Ashley. We’ve used her multiple times and feel great leaving our pet in her hands.”

“Luisa was super friendly, helpful and always quick to respond. She left detailed updates with pictures after each visit, which was very reassuring and made being away much less worrisome. After meeting Luisa, it was very apparent that she truly loves all animals. She did a great job taking care of cat. I would highly recommend her.”
“We've had Kaya pet sit twice now and she was tremendously helpful! Out two cats and dog enjoyed her visits over the past week. She provided meds and frequent updates to assure us they were behaving. Highly recommend her to others!”

“Catherine is very friendly, cleaned up an accident thoroughly that my dog had made when previous care giving fell through from another individual, and communicated promptly. She’s the best! 🩵”

“Andre was terrific. He came over in advance to make sure he knew where everything was and go over our cats schedule. We definitely know Bowie was well cared for and will use Andre again in the future when we travel.”

“Chiara is amazing. Always on time and checks in with photos of my cat at every visit. Frankfort really loves her. She’s a real gem and I feel super comfortable leaving to go on vacations with her around.”

About: I’ve lived with pets my entire life and they are so dear to me. My family has had multiple cats at all times and a dog and caring for them has always been a joy. This has included several very senior cats over the years (16+ years old!). I am experienced in tending to cat litter boxes, food, water, and play time. I also have experience giving medication orally and topically for cats. I am also experienced in walking dogs and providing food, water, and oral medications. I am a pretty active person, so if your dog needs longer walks I can easily accommodate them! I am a student working on my own schedule, so I am flexible with my availability. Mornings are especially good for pet sitting - I love starting the day with pets. As a cat mom I always want pictures, so I will keep you updated through photos and text. I am also happy to address any incidental messes in the house while I’m looking after your pet.
“Sun did drop-in visits for my cat while we were away for a long weekend. My doesn't like to be left alone for too long and I'm happy to report she was in good spirits when we returned. Sun sent pictures of my cat showing all she had been up to. I look forward to using her again!”

“Becca always does an amazing job with my sometimes shy and timid cat Lola. The photos really show how excited Lola is when Becca visits and just how good her cheek scratches are!”

“Christopher came through for us at the last minute to take care of my grandparents' cat, Peabody, and we couldn't be more grateful. He was quick to respond and even made time for a meet and greet beforehand. My grandparents loved the photos and updates he sent throughout, and it was clear Peabody warmed up to him fast, shy as he is! Seeing him curled up on Christopher's lap said it all. We'll definitely be booking with him again.”

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals. From adolescence and into adulthood, I have taken on the responsibility of petsitting and dog walking my own animals and those of family and friends. I love to spending time with animals and look forward to caring for yours! I am currently a college student. This means my flexibility is very high and I’m available during most of the day during the week. Every pet, their preferences, and the routines established by their owners are unique. I find it best to cater to the needs of the pet and their owners.

About: Growing up I help take care of just about every indoor pet you can think of. Taking the time to make an animal feel safe is my specialty. My favorite way to spend time with pets is outdoor training and desensitizing 🙌 I work part time and am generally flexible for hours during the week. I am especially available for early morning and daytime visits M-F. Weekends I’m happy to do overnights and potty breaks every couple hours. Happy to be the disciplinarian or the fun playtime aunt! However your pet feels safe I will accommodate and take as much time as needed to provide for them in your home.
About: I’ve always loved dogs and grew up with a Rottweiler, so I’m comfortable with larger breeds and have plenty of experience caring for them. Many of my friends have big dogs, and I often enjoy taking them out for walks. During the warmer months, I can even take your pup on a short run to burn off some extra energy! With prior military service, I bring a high level of responsibility, reliability, and dedication to ensuring your dog gets the best care and attention during our time together. I can be free in the evenings starting at 6 pm on weekdays, or Wednesday mornings before 10:30am. My weekends are free and I can easily fit in a walk while you’re out living your best life. I give all animals lots of love, attention, and patience! I communicate well, and would love to share updates on how your dog is enjoying their walk, with a quick pic or two to capture the moment.

About: I’ve been surrounded by at least 4 family dogs (mostly Boxers) throughout my life. When I was 14 I began working at an animal shelter for a year where I took the dogs out on walks and supervised dog meet and greets with potential adopters. At the animal shelter I became familiar with all types of dogs with all types of behavioral traits. I then went on to work at a doggy daycare/boarding establishment for a year where I oversaw doggy playtime with at least 15 dogs at once. I also ensured all dogs received the upmost love and care during their boarding experience. I also gained extensive training on dog behavioral management and a basic training in dog health emergencies. Recently I have begun participating in the local animal shelter’s “skip days” which has given me a solid understanding of the dog walking scene in DC. Overall I have a solid background in dog care for small to large dogs, but above it all I have a strong passion for caring and loving dogs with all I have! Currently I am working roughly 4-6 hour shifts Thursday and Friday with free time all day Saturday and Sunday. I am also willing to take off of work if needed, I am very flexible! When taking care of a pet I will ensure they are my top priority and limit any personal plans in order to properly give your pet the best care! I currently live in an apartment with ample space to take the pups to potty. I don’t own any dogs of my own which can allow me to give all my attention to your dog. I am flexible with anything you need me to do, whether it be feeding routines or sleeping routines! Communication is key to making your dog feel the best they can, so please let me know what I can do!

About: Growing up with three dogs, I have learned not only that different dogs have their own lifestyle and personality, but also different feeding habits and behaviors. My clef pallet pup, Daisy, has taught me that patience can lead to happiness and learning with all kinds of dogs. As a recent high school graduate, I am available all summer to care for your furry friends. As I prepare for college, I am building my savings to have a successful first year! Growing up, I have had dogs of different sizes, from teacup size to 50+ pounds. Not only do I have experience with tricky behavioral dogs, but also pups with disabilities, such as clef pallets.

“Brittani was so nice! So flexible and happy to fix my scheduling error. Very communicative and a pro at administering medication. Olive was in great hands.”

Lily was so great with our two cats! She sent us lots of great pictures and was very attentive. She was also flexible and was able to help us out by coming an extra day when we had a flight cancellation. I would highly recommend Lily and would definitely rebook in the future!

Claire did a great job watching our two kitties over a holiday weekend. She was responsive, communicative, professional, and took great photos! Our kitties clearly felt very comfortable with her right away. We'd ask her to watch over them again in a heart beat!

Claire immediately made me feel at ease leaving my anxious dog and temperamental cat! They responded so well to her, and her patience and kindness were palpable. She was so communicative and responsive to my pets’ needs, I hope I get the pleasure of booking her again!

Maham watched my cat for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. She did everything I asked and then some! He was well taken care of physically, plus she also made sure he was stimulated and engaged with toys, cat tv, and lots of human interaction. She was in regular touch with updates and photos, and helped clean up when he made a mess. I really appreciate everything!

Victoria was amazing!! She was very communicative with me regarding our girl who had a small cold and was even able to wipe her eye even though she’s very weary of people. She even went above and beyond by vacuuming up a little! I could not recommend Victoria enough. We’re definitely going to be using her as our sitter going forward!

Lisa was fantastic! My cat is quite the scaredy cat, and I was really worried about him with the July 4th fireworks and military flyovers this year. Lisa went above and beyond to keep him calm and comfortable during her visits, checking in on him and making sure he felt safe.
