About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 12 years old, and have participated in careful TNR procedures in order to help maintain the population of cats living in the wild. I currently have 1 cat of my own and would be happy to watch over yours! I am a full time law student, so I can come to you early in the morning or in the evenings! I can be the perfect addition to fun travel plans. I am also limited to metro and bus. I plan to spend a minimum of 30 mins with your fur baby, feeding, cleaning, and otherwise attending to their every need, and I would be happy to provide photos!! About: I was raised in a very pet-friendly family, including multiple family dogs at all times, and am experiencing my first year without creatures of my own in my new apartment. In 2020 and 2021 I began volunteering with a Bay Area Animal Rescue, where I worked adoption events, helped administer vaccinations and microchips, socialized young puppies, and coordinated transport. My senior year of college I took on the task of having a dog full-time in my college town, and had a wonderful experience. After leaving my mini Aussie, Juni, home with my mom in California and making the move to DC for grad school, I'm aching for furry friends! When I first rescued Juni two years ago, she was 4 years old, overweight, and so poorly trained that she did not respond to her name. Since then, she has become the happiest and healthiest version of herself. I have experience leash training, obedience training, recall training, as well as working with reactive dogs. I am a firm believer that you can teach an old dog new tricks :) Im currently a masters student, with class in the mornings (8am-12pm) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I'm available to be home or out walking on weekday afternoons and weekends! I live alone in a studio apartment, and am confident I have enough space to host your pet. I live very close to multiple parks, including a 15-min walk to Shaw dog park. I am an early riser and love a good morning walk, as well as an afternoon adventure and a quick outing before bedtime. I am happy to use a crate overnight/when I am out of the house, but always prefer to let pets have free roaming abilities, and don't mind them cuddling up on the couch.

About: I’m an energetic, reliable, and caring dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I currently have a dog and previously helped care for three dogs alongside my siblings, so I understand the responsibility and love that goes into pet care. I truly enjoy being outdoors—long walks, fresh air, and plenty of playtime are some of my favorite things, especially when shared with adorable pups! I have a special soft spot for senior dogs and make sure they receive the extra patience, attention, and affection they deserve. Every time I walk into a shelter, I wish I could adopt them all and give each one a loving home. I’ve provided drop-in visits and overnight care for neighbors, family, and clients throughout the DMV area, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently have availability for consistent evening walking opportunities in my area and would love to help keep your dog happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I also own a cat and available for cat sitting as well. With the exception of a few weekends for my personal vacations, I am flexible most weeknights and weekends. I work remotely and will be able to do day drop ins. I have a beautiful golden Irish dog who loves to be outside and play with her toys! I take her to play dates at the local park and walk her through the woods on the weekends. If I am doing an overnight stay with your dog, I will make sure they have proper exercise and that we don’t stray too far away from their normal routine. I will take them on walks, ample play time in the backyard or park and will give them as much love and attention as you!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
