“Maria was incredible! Very communicative, professional, and kind. She took excellent care of our cats, and even our very shy girl came out to say hi when she was here.”

About: I have taken care of my family dog since I can remember! I genuinely love entertaining, caring for, and relaxing with pets. I am happy to run around the yard or sit and pet your dog! I currently work another job 9-5, Monday through Friday. I am available to hangout with your furry friend past 6PM on weekdays and anytime between 8AM and 9PM on weekends! In your home, I will be sure to keep your pet’s safety and comfort in mind within your boundaries. I have experience with entertaining dogs in small spaces, as well as keeping them away from sharp edges and fences.
“Victoria was an amazing sitter!! She sent wonderful pictures and descriptions of her drop-ins, which made me feel so at ease while I was on my trip. I could tell my cat Blackjack really adored her and loved the time he spent with Victoria. Would absolutely recommend her.”

“Priscilla was great with my cat, who has daily medicine needs (an inhaler and pills)! She gave him his meds easily, played and cuddled with him lots, and I came back to a very happy cat :) Her check-ins were very detailed and I really appreciated the photos she sent along too!”
“John did a great job with Wrigley. He was very responsive and followed directions well and sent lots of pictures of Wrigley. Wrigley had a great time with him and I would definitely recommend John to others!”

About: I just graduated from law school and am studying for the bar exam this summer! I definitely need to get out of the house for breaks throughout the day and would love to spend that time walking your dog:) I am available during the day most days, as I am currently studying. So all of my time outside of pet care is dedicated to that! I have an apartment, so for boarding dogs they should be ok with an elevator! I try to take dogs out every 2 hours depending on their needs. There are a lot of green spaces near my apartment, as well as a dog park 4!blocks away!
“We just got our puppy and had to leave for a wedding so we decided to book with Rover. Savannah was great with our puppy and made sure he received love throughout the day!”

About: I have had pets of all kinds since birth. From hairless cats, to ferrets and lizards, our house had it all! A household full of pets teaches care, discipline and experienced maintenance. It meant understanding each pet needs its own specific care to discover what makes them happy, comfortable, and most importantly, well taken care of. Growing up with this experience allowed me to become a reliable and responsible pet care taker. For me, the easiest thing in the world is to love my furry friends and since moving to DC, I travel a bit too much to have my own pet. As a result, I will treat your pets with the love and care they deserve! I am experienced, organized, punctual and great at communicating, I would be honored to care for your pets! I work full time in office 5 days a week but am free to board and take care of your dogs all day from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I am happy to do one night of boarding or stay over as well and have flexibility to go into my office late and leave an hour or so early to accommodate your pets. I live an extremely active life style and live to be outside in the summer! I walk everyday after work by nearby parks and have dog walking experience to ensure your pet has the perfect companion while you are away. I wake up early and stay up late naturally and am a generally low maintenance person. My schedule outside of work hours is extremely flexible and I'm happy to accommodate any kind of needs. Pet safety is paramount to me as a care taker. My home has no harmful objects in reach and the building I live in is pet friendly. There are elevators for older dogs who have trouble on stairs and the area I live in is peaceful, calm, and dog friendly. There are many one way streets and less trafficked areas on my block as well as two dog friendly parks within a 5 minute walk of my home. I never leave dogs outside unattended or unwatched, even in a fenced in area and am very cautious when eating around pets.
“Nicholas and Larissa were very kind and professional. They followed all my instructions to a T and took great pictures and updates. Highly recommend! Would definitely book again :)”

“Tobias went above and beyond caring for Kobe. He communicates well, sends great updates, and even checked on him later that night after the forth of July fireworks to make sure he was okay. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m an energetic, reliable, and caring dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I currently have a dog and previously helped care for three dogs alongside my siblings, so I understand the responsibility and love that goes into pet care. I truly enjoy being outdoors—long walks, fresh air, and plenty of playtime are some of my favorite things, especially when shared with adorable pups! I have a special soft spot for senior dogs and make sure they receive the extra patience, attention, and affection they deserve. Every time I walk into a shelter, I wish I could adopt them all and give each one a loving home. I’ve provided drop-in visits and overnight care for neighbors, family, and clients throughout the DMV area, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. You can trust that your pup will receive excellent care, love, and attention. I currently have availability for consistent evening walking opportunities in my area and would love to help keep your dog happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I also own a cat and available for cat sitting as well. With the exception of a few weekends for my personal vacations, I am flexible most weeknights and weekends. I work remotely and will be able to do day drop ins. I have a beautiful golden Irish dog who loves to be outside and play with her toys! I take her to play dates at the local park and walk her through the woods on the weekends. If I am doing an overnight stay with your dog, I will make sure they have proper exercise and that we don’t stray too far away from their normal routine. I will take them on walks, ample play time in the backyard or park and will give them as much love and attention as you!

“Amy has been absolutely fantastic! From our very first meeting, she was incredibly professional and responsive. During every visit, she provided thorough updates that kept us completely at ease while we were away. Our cat, Luxe, usually sticks to the bed, but he actually waited on the couch to greet Amy the moment she walked in. It was so heartening to hear how much they bonded; he followed her around the house and even felt comfortable enough to demand water from the sink! Amy went above and beyond, handling everything smoothly even when Luxe was stressed and dealing with an upset stomach. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and highly recommend her!”

“Davis was prompt, communicative and most important of all an excellent caretaker. I came home to my cats as happy as if I had never left! I would highly recommend Davis for your cat care needs”

About: I grew up taking care of my dog while my sister, the cat. I've always loved all kinds of animals. As an adult I've lived with a lot more cats. I used to take care of friends' cats before I got my own. I had an orange tabby cat previously, and I have a 5 year old orange tabby cat now :) I look forward to meeting your pet and giving them the love and care they require and deserve! Chelsea went above and beyond to help care for my cat when I was away this weekend. She was so kind and flexible throughout several last-minute changes in my cat's care needs and travel delays. I arrived home to a happy kitty and it was such a relief to know she was getting great care while I was away. I would highly recommend working with Chelsea, and I definitely plan to do so again!

I had to make an emergency trip to see my mom when my dog was struggling with a knee issue that was going to require either surgery or physical therapy. Jesse cared for our dog Iris so well that when we came back, she had actually improved with her injury. This gave me the opportunity to choose physical therapy over having to go forward with the surgery.

Victoria was an amazing sitter!! She sent wonderful pictures and descriptions of her drop-ins, which made me feel so at ease while I was on my trip. I could tell my cat Blackjack really adored her and loved the time he spent with Victoria. Would absolutely recommend her.

Lakshmi is a great pet sitter! She left detailed notes about her visits every day including photos and details about our cat's temperament and behavior. She was very responsive to messages. Our cat seemed very comfortable with her! Would definitely book again.

We contacted Thomas to sit our cats a second time for a more impromptu trip. He was communicative and quick to confirm a schedule, and was flexible in adjusting with unforeseen travel delays. Our girls have enjoyed his visits and we will definitely book him again!
