I take her to play dates at the local park and walk her through the woods on the weekends. If I am doing an overnight stay with your dog, I will make sure they have proper exercise and that we don’t stray too far away from their normal routine. I will take them on walks, ample play time in the backyard or park and will give them as much love and attention as you!

I also assisted my brother in training his lab along with dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family growing up. About: Since I can remember I was always a pet lover. I have experience walking varying breeds from small mixed breeds to husky’s, as well as cat sitting. I'm available for dog walks & drop ins Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri 8am-8pm, and Tues 8am-3pm, some weekend availability. My calendar is constantly being updated with my current availability and I am happy to accommodate to you and your pet's needs. Safety is a top priority for me, I care for each pet like they're my own! I only walk one dog booking at a time, no pack walks or dog parks. I follow any guidelines and preferences provided, I only give treats which are approved and as directed. Each visit has at least one photo included. For Dogs, I love to play with them and promise they will get much love, attention, and pets. For walks I can use a preferred route, try to stay in the shade during the summer, and avoid dog parks for safety reasons. For Cats, I will adapt to what the cat prefers. If they need time to warm up to me, I will give them the time and space needed, I will gladly play with them, pet them, or if they just want to do their own cat-things I will supervise them. At the end of the visit I usually leave the tv running on a sleep timer for background noise and visual stimulation. *I like to have a meet and greet before the first visit

What sets me apart is my experience caring for dogs with different needs and personalities. I regularly care for my parents’ Golden Retriever, who has separation anxiety, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and giving extra attention to dogs who need additional comfort and reassurance. I have also pet sat in clients’ homes for multiple nights at a time, caring for multiple dogs at once while maintaining their routines, exercise schedules, feeding times, and any special instructions. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and making pets feel safe and cared for when their families can’t be there. I am currently in school and working part time, but I am very flexible. Most of my school is online, and during work I am able to leave during lunch time and only work for about 6 hours, 3 times a week. I do not have a huge yard, so I would have the dog on a leash and take the dog on long walks. Crates are fine if needed. Once again I am very accommodating, so if there is something the dog needs to feel comfortable I can work with that.

About: I just graduated from law school and am studying for the bar exam this summer! I definitely need to get out of the house for breaks throughout the day and would love to spend that time walking your dog:) I am available during the day most days, as I am currently studying. So all of my time outside of pet care is dedicated to that! I have an apartment, so for boarding dogs they should be ok with an elevator! I try to take dogs out every 2 hours depending on their needs. There are a lot of green spaces near my apartment, as well as a dog park 4!blocks away!

About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. I regularly catsit and dogsit for friends, but currently don't have any pets of my own. I respect animals autonomy, but always prefer to play, cuddle, or walk with the pets. They'll have full access to my apartment. They're welcome on furniture and if they prefer to hang out solo, that's okay, too. They'll still get the same love and attention, just from a few feet away.

Even though I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs through friends and family — from puppies who need full attention to older dogs who need extra patience and care.
