About: Growing up with both cats and dogs, I love taking care of both in the special ways each enjoy! Happy to accommodate for specific needs. Able to do both morning and evening walks, for any distance or energy level. Love spending time outside, rain or shine. Can easily reach any Georgetown or Burleith Im currently a substitute teacher and stay at home mom so I have a flexible schedule. While I don’t currently have a dog or cat of my own right now, I very much look forward to caring for yours. I have a fenced in yard. Able to crate. Responsive communication and reliable worker. I enjoy walking dogs. I walk up around 5:30 and I’m available for early morning walks
About: I am a retired volunteer with City Kitties and Dogs, and have been doing Rover for a few years now! I grew up with rescue dogs and continue to find so much joy in hanging with dogs and cats for the day. I know how important pets are (they’re family!) so yours will always be getting that 5 star treatment and care! :-) I currently WFH 3 days a week and am looking for a furry friend to keep me company! I am up in the mornings around 7am, and have a pretty relaxed job which means lots of time for walks, play, and potty breaks. Your pets safety is my top priority. I will be sure to follow all protocols, take details seriously, and keep an eye on your pet at all times of service!

“Caden was great at taking care of Thelma & Louise for a last minute booking. He communicated well and showed pictures of them eating since one of my cats eats fast especially when anxious. He did a great job sending pictures too. Highly recommend Caden for your summer vacations!”

“Sarah was wonderful with the cats. They got along with her really well and she was very thorough in giving us updates and photos. I will definitely be asking her to cat sit again in the future!”

About: I adopted my dog, Banana, during the pandemic, and she quickly became part of my family. Being her dog mom has taught me a lot about patience, routines, and understanding what a dog needs, even when they can’t say it. I love going on walks, playing, and spending time with dogs, but I also understand when they need a little space. I’ll care for your dog with the same attention and affection I give Banana. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I have time during the week and on weekends to care for your pet. I’m happy to plan around their normal walking and feeding routine and spend time with them so they don’t feel alone. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions, respect your dog’s routine, and give them time to get to know me. I’ll also send you photos and updates so you know they’re safe and getting plenty of attention.
“Julia was great- so trustworthy, responsive, and kind. I was very nervous leaving my puppy for the first time, but I felt much more comfortable knowing she’d be looking after him. So grateful for her help!”

“Hannah took wonderful care of our medium-sized dog over the Fourth of July weekend. She was flexible, communicative, and proactive throughout the stay, especially when helping us monitor how our dog was handling the heat and the fireworks. When our return flights were unexpectedly canceled, she didn’t hesitate to extend the booking, which was a big help and peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Hannah again and highly recommend her!”
“Jacqueline is my go to cat sitter - she is the most reliable, flexible, and sweetest person. My cat Duchess absolutely adores her and I couldn’t be luckier to have someone like Jacqueline to rely on. Thank you for all that you do.”

About: I grew up with rescue mutts and herding breed dogs that need lots of exercise, mental stimulation, and training so I am familiar with high energy breeds. I also have experience with smaller companion animals, and cats. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have cared for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. I'm available mornings and afternoons to spend time with your pets. I'm between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is very flexible and I'm eager to fill that with time with your pup! I love to take long walks, and enjoy parks and trails if your dog likes to go on short hikes. I have a fenced in front and back/side yard with grass, and enough room to throw a ball if they come over for a play date.

About: Since rescuing a stray cat in 2021, I have been responsible for every aspect of her daily care, including feeding, cleaning, playtime, grooming, and monitoring her health. Caring for her has taught me patience, consistency, and how to recognize changes in a pet’s behavior. As a graduate student, I am organized, dependable, and committed to providing pets with a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while their owners are away. I’m currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I can accommodate drop-in visits, cat care, dog walking, and house sitting based on your pet’s needs. I always make time to provide pets with attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages during every visit. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines, and any special needs. I keep the environment clean, secure, and stress-free while respecting your home and your pet’s boundaries. Having cared for my rescued cat since 2021, I understand how important patience, consistency, and trust are when caring for animals, especially those who may be shy or anxious.

“Katherine is awesome! Very lucky to have her nearby :) She always goes the extra mile - refilling his water, giving him treats, etc. and leaves detailed notes for us.”
“Julie was great! Super attentive to our two cats during her drop in visits and always kept us updated! Definitely would recommend Julie to anyone! Thanks again, Julie!”

“This was our first time having Elliott sit our cats in a new city, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! He was super responsive and attentive to their needs. We will definitely book him again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Georgetown
Phil was probably the best rover I have ever had! He was very communicative and his updates were thorough and fun to read! He also did a great job keeping things tidy which I appreciated. My cat gets anxious when I’m away and she doesn’t get enough attention but I could tell she had been well cared for when I returned. Would be happy to have Phil care for my cat again!

Carrie was amazing, she found a way to connect with our super shy cat! Hugo found a friend in Carrie and sought her out for pets and attention which is something he rarely does for new people. We truly appreciate the effort she put in and so did Hugo. Thanks Carrie!

Megan was very responsive, followed all of my directions and was very easy to work with. She made sure I had photos of my cat who hides under my bed and also played with my other cat who is more open ti people. She put out wet food that my cats ate all of every time and made sure their litter was clean and water/food filled.

Another great experience with Shelby watching my cats! She takes great care of them, plays with them, pets them, and keeps me updated with good communication. You can tell she genuinely cares about interacting with the cats which is such a big piece of feeling good about leaving them in a sitters care.
