“Julia was great- so trustworthy, responsive, and kind. I was very nervous leaving my puppy for the first time, but I felt much more comfortable knowing she’d be looking after him. So grateful for her help!”

“Charlie was absolutely fantastic! Luna is usually very shy, but she seemed a lot more social this time. Charlie took great care of her and gave us detailed updates during our trip. We were both very happy and would definitely book again. Thank you so much!”

About: Your dog deserves a lot of attention, so I only take care of one dog friend at a time. We have been living in Georgetown for a decade and don’t plan to move anytime soon, and I’d love to build a long-term friendship with your dog. I will treat your dog like the loved pet he or she is! I have flexible part-time working hours. Taking a break to get your dog some exercise and take a lovely walk together will be the highlight of my day. We take care of only one dog at a time, so they get lots of care and attention. My goal is for your dog to always be happy and comfortable in my care.
“This was our first time having Elliott sit our cats in a new city, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! He was super responsive and attentive to their needs. We will definitely book him again!”

“Katherine is awesome! Very lucky to have her nearby :) She always goes the extra mile - refilling his water, giving him treats, etc. and leaves detailed notes for us.”

About: I've been taking care of various dogs for over 12 years! I worked to train my own dog when he was a puppy and was able to get him to jump through a hoop! Additionally, neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk and take care of their dogs when they are unable to. I am currently working in the mornings and through the early afternoon. This leaves plenty of time for me to walk and care for dogs in the afternoon and evening. I follow directions and listen to what I am told. Owners know their dogs best! I love to play with dogs when space and situation allows!
“hillary did a great job with my three kitties! :) she also went above and beyond and helped me out with my litter robot that was having problems. would definitely trust her and book her in the future!”
“We've had Kaya pet sit twice now and she was tremendously helpful! Out two cats and dog enjoyed her visits over the past week. She provided meds and frequent updates to assure us they were behaving. Highly recommend her to others!”

About: I have fifteen years of pet sitting and care experience, to include drop-ins, walks, feedings, litter box cleaning and overnight stays. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian, and then a zoologist. Neither career panned out, but my love for animals remained. Now I get my fill of furry friends by providing excellent, worry-free care for your pets! As a proud mom of three urban hens, I know how nerve-wracking it is to be away from a beloved pet. That’s why I provide frequent updates and pictures to my clients so that they can go about their workdays or trips without anxiety. I specialize in cats, dogs and birds. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am currently freelancing part-time, which provides me with an extremely flexible schedule to care for your pets! From walks to drop-ins to overnight stays, I can provide a variety of services to DMV pet owners When in your home whether for a drop-by or overnight stay, I am committed to making your pet feel as comfortable and happy as possible in the absence of their person/people. I follow my clients’ instructions and specifics of their pets’ routines, and follow them closely. I also provide lots of love and cuddles (or love from afar for pets that don’t like to be touched!)
About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, especially cats, so I naturally understand their Needs and unique personalities. Even though I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs through friends and family — from puppies who need full attention to older dogs who need extra patience and care. I also have experience giving pets oral medication, so I’m comfortable following special routines. My goal is always to give each pet the same love, comfort, and attention I’d want for my own! I am currently a full-time student at Howard University so I have class everyday. With any free time I have on my hands not studying or in class, I’d love to help! Im happy to take your pets on walks, give them fresh food and water, and spend quality time with them so they feel cared for while you're away. Im gentle and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Building trust is very important to me, and treat one like my own! :)

Georgetown pet parents share their Rover experiences
Guiselle took a great care of my cat Hummer during her drop in visits. She kept me updated with photos and messages which gave me peace of mind. Guiselle had an instant connection with Hummer and he clearly enjoyed her company. I will happily book with Guiselle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Reyhan was wonderful! She took excellent care of our two cats when we travelled for 10 days. At each check-in she not only took basic care of our cats but also played with them, shared adorable photos, and alerted us early about potential issues with their energy levels or food. They turned out to be just fine, but we appreciated knowing that they were being cared for by someone who was so attentive. We felt at ease when we were on our vacation. Thank you, Reyhan!

Carrie is the sweetest. Our two tabbies Baxter and Izzy warmed up to her quickly, which they have a hard time with anyone else. She made sure the played with them and even followed instructions on playing with our quirky cat Baxter. We will be definitely be booking Carrie again. ❤️
