About: Growing up with three dogs, I have learned not only that different dogs have their own lifestyle and personality, but also different feeding habits and behaviors. My clef pallet pup, Daisy, has taught me that patience can lead to happiness and learning with all kinds of dogs. As a recent high school graduate, I am available all summer to care for your furry friends. As I prepare for college, I am building my savings to have a successful first year! Growing up, I have had dogs of different sizes, from teacup size to 50+ pounds. Not only do I have experience with tricky behavioral dogs, but also pups with disabilities, such as clef pallets.

About: I've had pets most of my life, more recently exclusively cats. My cats wouldn't get along with dogs and I miss being around them, so I'm looking to scratch that itch by getting involved with dog walking and in-home care. Since I’m recently retired, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I live right in a 10-story apartment building in NW DC, so I’m already here and can easily pop down for midday walks, quick drop-ins, or overnight stays without any commute hassle. A typical week for me includes several regular dog walks and cat visits for neighbors in the building. I genuinely enjoy starting my day with a good walk or ending it with some playtime and cuddles. It keeps me active, social, and smiling — plus it gives me that wonderful sense of responsibility I loved from my teaching days. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute walk around the neighborhood, a full night of house sitting, or daily check-ins while you’re traveling, fitting pet care into my schedule is easy and something I truly look forward to. I’m available most days and evenings, and I’m happy to work around your needs! I provide all pet care in your home only, so your pets stay in their familiar environment where they feel safest and most comfortable. For dogs, I will only consider bringing them to my house on very rare occasions — and only after I’ve gotten to know the dog well and we both agree it’s the right fit. All cat care happens exclusively in your home. In your home, I follow your exact routines for feeding, walks (for dogs), playtime, litter box care, medications, and more. I’m very mindful about safety: keeping doors and windows locked, using secure leashes when needed, and treating your space with complete respect. As a retired Special Education teacher, I’m patient, observant, and highly responsible. I treat every pet and every home with the care they deserve. You can trust that your furry family member will be in safe, loving hands.

About: I love animals and I have many years of experience in pet care. I have three cats and two dogs at home and I have been active in their care all my life. I also have several years of experience cat and dog sitting for other families. I have shadowed vets and I have done an internship with the Darien VCA. I am comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and ages of dog. I have experience caring for special needs and elderly cats. I am available for dog walking, dog sitting, cat sitting, overnight stays, and drop-in visits. I work part time, but I am happy to work around my schedule. Currently I am available until 12pm every weekday besides Wednesday, and after 5pm every weekday. My weekends have open availability. I have two dogs of my own that are friendly, and I have experience walking all sizes. I can walk, feed, let out, and crate dogs. I am currently available for overnight care.
