About: I grew up spending lots of time at my aunts house who loves animals. Every weekend she often had me walking and feeding her dogs and cats.I also feed her fish and turtles . She taught me a lot about dogs and how to train them. I currently have an open schedule until I start college so I am able to be very flexible with my time. Rover is my top priority at the moment. About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UMD studying black bear ecology. I have been an animal lover since I could talk. I own a German shepherd but I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve watched many animals throughout the years for colleagues and friends. I’m new to rover sitting but I am reliable, will be very communicative, and provide the best care to your furry friend. I am a full time student, but I have very flexible hours. I’m open any time on the weekends, as long as I have a few days notice. I can be flexible to your needs! About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I've always had cats of my own. I have cared for many of my friends’ pets while they are away. For many years I had friends for whom I used to dog-sit and cat-sit in their home. They had two cats and two dogs--medium size, collie mix and lab mix, dogs. I have experience walking the dogs, feeding, taking to vet appointments. I have experience walking and caring for my in-laws dogs (golden retrievers and springer spaniels). I am energetic and love playing with cats and dogs. I’m currently working from home (9 to five) so am available throughout the day and evenings and weekends. I’m happy to walk dogs as needed throughout the day. I can host or do over night stays. I have a fenced backyard, though note there are a flight of stairs to get down to the backyard. It is small with some bushes and trees and a paved patio. I enjoy walking (as many times as needed per day) and there many grassy areas near by. I don’t have an issue with dogs in the sofa or beds.

Devonte was great. My normal sitter couldn’t get to the house in time and my pup needed to go out to go to the bathroom. On short notice D was able to stop by my home and comfort my uneasy dog. My dog wasn’t used to seeing a new face but D was able to calm her and get her out the door. We will surely be contacting him again.
Kim was super professional and took great care of our two cats. She was organized, communicative, and spent plenty of time playing with our cats during her daily visits. We got lots of great pictures and detailed updates too! I’d definitely recommend Kim to others.
We were naturally a bit anxious using Rover for the first time after our long-time pet sitters moved away, but Joelle and Andrew completely put our minds at ease! They took care of our three cats—Church, Cherry, and Ebony—for almost a week and were absolutely wonderful. Capturing the hearts of three very different personalities isn't easy, but Joelle and Andrew gave each cat the exact attention and care they needed. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
