“Colleen was absolutely wonderful and very attentive to my little man. She followed all the instructions that I left for daily care, and provided photos at every check in. I will absolutely use her again.”

“Jared was fantastic with our crew! We have a dog and cats who are pretty wary of strangers, but he was so patient and totally respected their boundaries. He eased in slowly and the results were great—everyone was happy and relaxed. The communication was awesome, and we loved getting all the updates. Plus, a huge extra thanks for cleaning up some cat vomit on our bedspread while we were out—definitely went above and beyond!”

“Kaitlin did a wonderful job taking care of my cat. When we had our initial meeting, Zoey -who can be pretty shy- came out to meet her immediately.”

“Izcali has been great with our two dogs! Both our dogs can be nervous around new people but they took to her very fast. She arrives on schedule each day and takes them out to stretch their legs and potty. She sends us adorable pictures and updates us on what they get up to. Thank you so much for looking after our babies!”

“Matt watched our cat for us over Thanksgiving. Our cat had a very last minute medical issue, and Matt had no issue helping out while we were gone. We really appreciated Matt's help and flexibility.”

“Mia did an excellent job with my kitties! My cats love her! My shy kitty came to her and trusted her, and that was so shocking to us. I guess Mia has her own way with pets. Mia is so kind, attentive, and loving! She loves animals and treats them with the utmost love, care, kindness, and respect! She took care of them like we do! Mia's attention to detail and superb communication skills comforted us while we were out. I definitely trust her to take care of my babies and would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“We have an older cat who needs medication and a high energy younger cat. Keaton always does a fantastic job with each of them. Keaton is very communicative, organized, and flexible—thank you!”

“Liz is fantastic! We had her do several drop in visits for our new puppy while my husband and I were at work. She kept us updated and even included some pictures from the visits. We've already booked her for additional drop in visits and a home stay for our upcoming vacation!”
“Lilla was great for visiting with my two pups! She was flexible and quick to respond when I needed a sitter due to unexpected trip to attend a funeral. She communicated well and provided me pictures of her visits. She even cleaned up after one of my pups when she got sick in the house. I’d recommend her and will use her again. Thank you, Lilla, and sorry about the pup mess!”

“Kelsey was fabulous. Sent lots of pictures of our cat over the week we were gone. I could tell she was happy to see Kelsey when she stopped by. I would highly recommend Kelsey for any of your pet care needs!”

“Will absolutely ask Coralie to watch our boys again. They are each capable of getting a little spicy and it was nice to know that she gets it, doesn’t mind, and will still have chill social time with them. Thanks Coralie!”

About: I have been a lover of all animals for as far back as I can remember and have taken care of them both personally and professionally. I have been employed by zoos and aquariums, worked with tigers, made diets for birds of prey, and assisted Marine Biologists with shark tanks and coral reefs. My training has not just been in educating the public, but in positive reinforcements. Everything from dogs, cats, snakes, hedgehogs, frogs, and so many more have been in my care over the course of my life for one reason or another. I am my friends' go-to for anything they've ever been curious about when it comes to our natural world. And being a dog mom of two myself has been one of the most rewarding privileges I've been able to experience. Pet care for me is 24/7 for my own babies, but I am available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and some Wednesdays for any and all services. My pupperonies have been crate trained by me, but for the most part free roam. They have designated areas for when the hoomans are out of the house where they are allowed to nap and play with their toys or each other. Both have been socialized and are respectful of the other dog in the home. Both dogs get 3 walks per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening to ensure they are exercised as well as some off leash play in the yard. For clients, I am attentive to each animals’ needs and respectful of owner requests. It is important for me to get to know your fluffybutt as much as possible in order to provide optimal care.
“Erin was great! We changed our schedule around a little last minute and she was very accommodating. She sent updates and pictures and tuckered out our little pup. We will definitely reach out to Erin again :)”

About: I was practically raised by wolves lol. Growing up in a Huge Southern Household I’ve had plenty of Paws-on experience with dozens of breeds, all sizes, ages, and temperaments. From HUGE St Bernard’s and German shepherd’s, to Pomeranians and Yorkipoos! I’m a college student on summer break, so the sky is the limit! My schedule is extremely flexible, and I will be happy to discuss that further with you. Unfortunately, I do not offer boarding services at this time. I am familiar and experienced taking precautionary measures to keep your fur baby safe and happy home and in public spaces.
About: I love my cat more than anything in the world. She is my purest motivation to keep going and the best part is that she would never know. Thats the amazing thing about having pets, is that they don’t have a clue as to why you love them so much but they’re happy you do it anyways. What sets me apart from other sitters is that not only am I extremely reliable and trustworthy with both houses and pets, I listen thoroughly to all the needs. I make sure you know how safe your environment is with me so you are able to leave every single last worry at your front door. I know how nerve wracking it is to leave your trust in someone else's hands, so let me give you some of mine. I trust you to make a great decision for your home and your pets. I am currently working part time at Warby Parker. My day normally ends at 6pm but almost never later. My work schedule is extremely predictable and my environment is very accommodating so I am able to spend off days fully focused on your pets. As well as be able to provide you with a solid and consistent schedule for your needs. I am very thorough and Id like to think I am thoughtful to provide any sort of assistance when it comes to taking care of your house and fur babies. I make sure I build a routine that will help me diligently complete any tasks. I love to do drop in visits before and after work, and I will happily accommodate extra time to spend with them.
“Kaylynn took wonderful care of our dog with twice daily house visits while we were out of town. She was great at communication and has a clear love for animals. Thank you Kaylynn!”

“Idit was great! Not only did she give our kitty her medications with no issue, she also updated us daily with tons of photos and notes on how she was doing. Thank you, Idit!”

“Allison is great - she spends plenty of time with our cats, is easy to communicate with, and provides plenty of photo updates. We’ve used her several times and will certainly use her again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chillum
Haviland was such a great sitter! First, she took the time to visit before our trip to get familiar with our kitty and her routine. While we were away, she sent lots of photos and updates—even though our cat can be pretty shy, she really opened up around Haviland and seemed to enjoy her company and playtime. We were very happy with Haviland as our sitter and would 100% book her again! :)

Thank you so much Erin for watching my cat Ponzi! Erin was super responsive, sent great photos, and followed his routine perfectly! It was very enjoyable to work with Erin and I appreciated her last-minute help and how my apartment was just as a I left it. Ponzi seemed so happy and I felt confident that he was well taken care of :)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chillum. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
