About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. I specifically like to take care of small to medium dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are house trained. I am very excited to start this journey on Rover and meet and take care of your dogs. About: Hi there! I'm a dog-mom of an energetic boxer, Gus. Gus is my first dog, but from a young age, I always walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. I am very active and love taking long walks or light jogs, just like your pup! Gus is also an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so it's very easy for me to pop out before work, lunchtime, it after work to take a long walk. If it helps lighten the load when packing, I havethe following items already: Extra dog beds Dog bowls including a slow feeder Toys Feel free to pack these items if course if they will make your pup happier to have their own. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so it's very easy for me to pop out before work, lunchtime, it after work to take a long walk. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: My Golden Lab, Grace, was my best friend. She escaped from a puppy mill at 3 months old and I had her ever since. Dogs offer such unconditional love and the chance to repay that even a little bit is rewarding. I work full time in mental health close to home. I have a flexible schedule that allows me a lot of free time and the ability to make my own schedule. I love reading, writing, cooking and exploring my new city I now call home. I'm also experienced in taking care of bunnies as well and have sat over 10 clients. I love chilling with them while reading! I mean, it’s a fact that floppy bunny ears are the cutest thing ever, right? I think Bill Nye the Science Guy taught me that. My experience with pets over the years has taught me that they often act out when they don’t feel comfortable. They also sometimes show aggression or fear in new circumstances. This is all totally normal! My first focus is always allowing a visiting pooch to scope out the place at their own pace without any distractions. This allows them to feel as comfortable as possible. I stay close and keep a special eye on them in case they’re telling me with body language that they’re upset, scared, hungry or just want some outside time! I learned from Grace that all animals deserve compassion and understanding and they’ll feel loved and understood. I would love the chance to provide a home-away-from-home for your doggie that they will love to return to each time you’re away! I work three days of the week remotely, leaving me with a lot of one on one time with your fur baby to cuddle, take a walk, or have a belly rub! About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life! I helped raise and take care of a Golden Retriever for 14 years in my childhood home until she passed away. Right know I have 3 elderly dogs who are my BFF's. I can't imagine my life without a furry friend. Also I've helped watch family and friends dogs since a young age. I love dogs of any kind and will love yours like my own! I’m currently working close to home with very flexible hours. I can work with your schedule to find the right time to care for your pets! I will approach your pet in a calm and slow manner until they feel comfortable with me. I have a fenced yard. My neighborhood is great for walks. Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

“Our very social and attention-craving lab mix loved his stay with Natalia and Edward. We were out of town for seven days and received adorable pictures of him playing with their dog, lounging in the living room, or romping with the family. We especially liked the big backyard that allows for built-in outdoor space and the very walkable neighborhood which allowed for going further afield. It was clear they perfectly understood what our Milo needed and were more than happy and ready to accommodate. Relieved we’ve found a go-to Rover we’d be happy to use again. Highly recommend.”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.

“Amani was wonderful with Loki. She has a big yard which Loki loved. She gave him plenty of exercise which made me feel good because he needs to stay busy. She communicated very well with me and was extremely flexible. I immediately felt comfortable with Amani watching Loki within the first 5 minutes of our meet and greet. She is nice, funny, listened to every little question and concern I had and she had everything Loki would need already at her house. Amani also has a dog so Loki had someone to play with. Amani was great about sending me pictures but not overwhelming me with them and letting me enjoy my vacation. Loki loved his stay and I already told Amani I will be using her again.”
“Payton and Graham were fantastic with our dog, Indy. They have a backyard he loved playing in, but even more impressive they were able to get his halter on (he's extremely headshy) and take him on actual walks. Videos they sent showed Indy snuggling with Payton in a way he has only done with us before. Communication was excellent, and Indy clearly loved being there. Not only would we book again with Payton and Graham, I'm doing so right now!”
