I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! About: Hi there! I'm a dog mom of an energetic boxer, Gus. Gus is my first dog, but from a young age, I always walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. Gus is an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash and so love to play with a grieve l friend for a visit. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so I'm around most of the time to monitor play and keep the pets company. If it helps lighten the load when packing, I havethe following items already: Extra dog beds Dog bowls including a slow feeder Feel free to pack these items if course if they will make your pup happier to have their own. A few things I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. So I'm around the Pets most of the day. I also have a fenced in backyard for the them to run and and get some energy out. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: I'm a lifelong dog owner/lover who is also about a year and a half into learning how to be a cat mom. It's a pretty tight competition between my 8yo son and my 6yo beagle as to who loves dogs more. I work from home so if your pet doesn't like to be alone, that is not a problem. Walks and brushings are daily activities. Since the animals are allowed on the furniture the daily brushing is a must. Our cat has asthma and uses a daily inhaler, so if your pet also has medical issues/needs, they will fit right in. I've been petsitting for years for friends and family and would love to host your loved one as well. I work from home and occasionally have meetings or appointments during the day, so regular walks and lots of attention are easily managed. I also work for myself, so I have the ability to set my schedule. My backyard is fenced in, so unexpected potty needs or sunbathing are always accommodated. No space or piece of furniture is off limits to pets in my home.

If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: Currently my brother and I are working from home and don't mind having your dog here to accompany us. We love furry guests! I've had/watched dogs all my life ranging from teacups to great Danes, we love them all! Working from home 5 days a week (introverts for sure) we are available most week days and weekends. Our morning and afternoon walks for its nothing to add your fur baby! We have pups and dislike crates so I let them roam the house. “Boarding my puppy with Amani went great! This was my dog Blob's first time boarding, so I really appreciated all of the photos and videos that Amani sent every day of naptime, playtime, and bathtime. Our pick-up and drop-off also went very smoothly and she kept me updated with how Blob was doing health-wise and potty training-wise. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend Amani.”

From the moment I dropped Hamilton off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such amazing hands. She sent me daily photos and checked in throughout the day with updates on everything he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I’ve honestly never seen Hamilton happier. He looked so comfortable, loved, and genuinely excited to be there, I think he was actually a little sad to leave, lol. It was so obvious that McKinley treated him like he was her own, and that meant the world to me. “I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Edward and Natalia. We had a meet and greet a week prior where they asked a lot of questions and observed Ralphie with their sweet pup, Liz Lemon. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
“With a senior dog, we do get nervous about leaving mango new places. I would say within five minutes of the meet and greet it was clear that Shanilka and her husband would be taking great care of him. They asked all the right questions and during our stay sent regular updates to make sure we knew he was in good hands. Would definitely use again!”

About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.
