About: I grew up with multiple dogs in my house. I now own a 4 month old mini goldendoodle puppy where I take care of her putty train, crate and training overall. I treat dogs with care, love and warmth! I am currently between jobs so availability is flexible. I am free during the weekdays and weekends. Need a couple of days prior to the request. I treat them with love and care. I can sense when the dog is sad, happy, hungry or in need to a putty. I give my own dog treats and train him daily so he is grown to be the dog that everyone one wants to have around.

About: I grew up with animals all of my life. Last year, both of my dogs passed away. I am hoping this opportunity will heal a little part of that pain. I am a doctoral student, which basically means I am working from home. Working from home also gives me the opportunity to provide as much care and attention that your pet needs. I live in a very quiet neighborhood that is close to the trail that leads to the Anacostia river, which would be perfect for dog walks. One of my dogs that passed away was extremely fearful of strangers so I have a lot of experience with navigating reactive dogs on walks and in the household. I also love cats. I am comfortable with handling different cat personalities (shyness energetic territorial). I also have experience with pets who have medical requirements including insulin shots. I am a morning person and like to walk the trail next to my house in the mornings. Your pet could join me! 😊 I am home working on my dissertation, which makes completely available for the amount of time and attention that your pet needs. Unfortunately I do not have any pets in my house (both of my dogs passed away last year) , so this should not be a major concern.

About: I'm fit and can hang with even the most energetic dogs. I've studied dog psychology since I was a teen and would count the dogs that I saw on the bus ride home when I was younger. My goal is to bring the dog out of these city dogs. Too often I see dogs that don't know what to do in this overstimulating urban environment and I want to make sure that they are exercised, engaged and not fearful in this world that humans have created. Follow me to see some of the ways I bond with and exercise with my best friends (the dogs lol). I currently have 3 full days devoted to pet care on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On the other days I am available in the early mornings. At my house, they get treats for following me while I do my everyday things. There is a dog park nearby that I use to agility train and socialize the dogs. I'm a runner and can also run your dogs. For cats, I’m gentle especially for non social cats and for social ones I feed off of their inner predator and give them lots of stimulating games to play that involve chasing interesting toys on flirt poles.

“Lindsay is awesome! On time and super communicative. Her comfortability with Kai and overall experience is very comforting and Kai loved her. Looking forward to booking again soon!”

“Madelyn was very punctual for every visit. She weathered the gnarly storm to check up on my sweet Buddy. She also kept me updated on the storm and if it was affecting the area to assure me Buddy was safe. She is very kind and was attentive to mine and my cat’s needs. Thank you Madelyn for an outstanding job! Will definitely book in the future!”

About: I don’t know about you guys but in my opinion, pets are our new children. I have had three dogs of my own in the past. One from when I was in sixth grade (Snoopy, a bichon frise) who is sadly no longer with us, me and my mom’s sweetheart Lily, an almost 5yr old maltipoo who came into our lives in August of 2020 (a pandemic pup). She is my surrogate fur child that I love with everything I have. Last but not least, our morkie Nano, who my mom unfortunately gave away to her sister that lives out of the country lol but he still lives in my heart and I miss his quirky self every day. Others may know me by my middle name but I prefer to go by my first name which is Zaira. At the moment, I’m in between jobs, which means I have all the time in the world to give my undivided attention and affection to your fur babies. The way I like to go about caring for pets in their own environment is to ask the owners to leave me detailed written instructions of the pets routines, habits, likes and dislikes, etc. My main focus is to make sure that your pet feels safe and comfortable with me entering their space and to earn their trust by knowing all of the previous information beforehand.

“Hi Arianna, Thank you so much for taking such great care of my baby. It really seems as if she likes you. She is normally not so friendly with strangers. I will definitely be using you again in the future.”

About: I am the owner of a large Bernedoodle who is very friendly. I am experienced with large and small dogs and can do long hour walks or short walks/visits. I will send lots of photo updates and will actively keep in touch with the owner. I am a nurse and my days of the week for walking usually are flexible. Looking for an extra way to get outside and stay active while getting to play with some fury friends! I am a nurse and work random days of the week so I can be available at any time of the day on my days off, or in the early morning or late evening. Safety first, always. Any preferences by the owner will be first and foremost. I respect homes and privacy and will always stay in communication with the owner. I will be attentive to your pets needs.

“Grace responded quickly to my request and was patient with me while I had a crazy day when my normal sitters were not available! She followed all the instructions perfectly after a quick phone call and I could tell my kitty was happy with how quiet he was when I got home! Truly appreciative of sitters like Grace who can make themselves available in times like this and would definitely use her again! Dusty would be happy to see you :)”

About: Big Phan of cats and dogs, and have watched pets for my family and friends for many years. I have been watching dogs in the DMV area for more than 12 years and clients consistently rely on me to take care of their pets (dogs and cats) when they are gone for the weekend or on vacation. I’m flexible so feel free to reach out and find a service that works for you. I was furloughed from my job and now have a flexible schedule all-day! This allows me to pop by when I’m needed to take care of your pets or stay for extended periods of time! I am available most evenings and weekends as well when my calendar is available! I have a fenced in front and backyard to help with taking care in house. I live close to a neighborhood park which includes a section for dogs as well.
