Hello! I have a wide array of pet care experience. I currently own a horse, cat, a Blue and Gold Macaw, 2 Ball Pythons, and a leopard gecko! So I well equipped to care for your pet. For House Sitting requests I work the morning shift from 5am to 3pm at FT. Meade, MD so I will be gone for up to 10 hours a day but will be present in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
I own a Blue and Gold Macaw but she has a large cage where she can be safely kept away from other animals of needed. I also have a small kennel suited for smaller dogs or cats if your fur baby would prefer a covered area to curl up in. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment so plenty of room to move about and everything is pet proofed due to the parrot, imagine a toddler with bolt cutters for a face.

Alexandra is a wonderful pet sitter with a lot of experience taking care of animals great and small. She took wonderful care of my elderly dog while I was away and made sure she got the best care available while following her dietary restrictions. I would absolutely use her services again and recommend her to everyone.

Schedule
I work the morning shift from 5am to 3pm at FT. Meade, MD so I will be gone for up to 10 hours a day but will be present in the evenings. No matter what though I spend a good chunk of my time cleaning up after and spending time with my animals.

- I believe that before caring for a pet, it’s essential to gather detailed information to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. Key things I like to know include: 1. Health and Medical Information Allergies or dietary restrictions. Medications and instructions (if any). Vaccination status. Known health issues or recent injuries. 2. Behavior and Temperament How they react to strangers, other animals, and loud noises. Any fears or triggers (e.g., storms, vacuum cleaners). Are they social or more reserved? History of aggression or biting. 3. Daily Routine Feeding schedule and portion size. Bathroom habits (frequency, location, and routine). Walk schedule and preferred activities. Sleep preferences (crate, bed, etc.). 4. Special Needs or Preferences Favorite toys, treats, or activities. Training commands they understand. Any restricted areas or behaviors (e.g., no furniture climbing). 5. Emergency Contacts Veterinarian information. Owner’s contact details and backup contacts.
