Pets come first! Anytime I'm doing a visit, I ensure that the home is locked up and left how it was before coming in (but if any pet messes have happened, those are definitely tidied up before I leave)! I always like to take a moment with the pet to make sure they're doing alright before heading out for walks and that they have water (and food if appropriate) available. Happy to take pictures and to log entry and exit times and discuss any particular care your pet may need in your home (mobility, special needs, etc).
Information Keaton P. would like to know about your pet
I go by Keaton and use They/Them pronouns! Please let me know ahead of time if your pets have any medical concerns or weird quirks; don't use the doorbell, enter through specific entrances, do they door dash, etc. I'm always happy to do an extra visit before a walk/visit to help get the pet acclimated to a new person!
A typical day
I always like to take pets through the preferred routes of the owner when out and about on walks for safety and consistency. For overnight stays, I always like to bust out a pets' favorite toys and get some air and playtime in the yard (if applicable). Definitely like some couch or floor time with the pets before bed watching tv or "singing" together to some tunes.

Pet care experience
I did dog walking for a couple years before moving up into the world of vet med! I worked as a vet assistant for 4 years doing puppy/kitten care, basic care, emergency visits, surgeries, and special needs care. I've got the eyes and training to spot anything that could potentially be off about your pet and the skills to provide care and comfort in a pinch (and can even do some basic grooming like nail trimming and ear cleaning). I also have 2 cats at home that I give lots of love and care to daily!
Reviews

Keaton always takes great care of our two cats. They are also reliable with communication and sending photos and videos so we don’t miss them too much.

Cannot say enough good things about Keaton. They looked after our 3 cats for two weeks. They capably handled multiple different kinds of meds for each cat, made sure each had their different needs for playtime and feeding met, and did it all with so much care for each. They sent multiple updates every day throughout the 2 weeks, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away, knowing the cats were in such good hands.

Keaton took excellent care of my shy cat, including giving her oral medication. They provided updates and were very communicative through the process.

We continue to trust Keaton with our two cats. Keaton is totally reliable and really seems to bond with them. Great communication too!
