About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life! I helped raise and take care of a Golden Retriever for 14 years in my childhood home until she passed away. Right know I have 3 elderly dogs who are my BFF's. I can't imagine my life without a furry friend. Also I've helped watch family and friends dogs since a young age. I love dogs of any kind and will love yours like my own! I’m currently working close to home with very flexible hours. I can work with your schedule to find the right time to care for your pets! I will approach your pet in a calm and slow manner until they feel comfortable with me. I have a fenced yard. My neighborhood is great for walks. Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: I've had lots of experience with dogs in my life! Through high school I worked at a grooming salon washing dogs of all different sizes and temperaments. My beloved rat-chi passed away last year and I've been watching friends' and co-workers' dogs since then of all different shapes and sizes. There's a special place in my heart for seniors and lap dogs, but I absolutely love dogs of any size. I'm strong, fit and assertive enough to feel comfortable with dogs 80+ pounds, and intuitive and sensitive enough to cater to the little guys! I'm great with people too - I'm happy to listen to what your dog's needs and routines are and honor those as if they were my own fur babies. Pets are like people and they all have their own wonderful personality. I genuinely look forward to getting to know your special dog! My job is part-time and flexible - I'm home most weekdays for the majority of the day, and weekends can be tailored to your pet. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for your dog to safely explore and play (always with supervision, of course!). I currently don't own any pets so yours is the star of the show! I'm used to dogs who are crate trained, but if your dog is not crate trained, I am happy to accommodate them as long as they are not property-destructive and as long as they are potty trained. I'll give your dog as much attention and/or space as they like in the home, whether they're feeling shy, clingy, tired or playful. It's normal for dogs to feel out of sorts in a new home with their parents away, and I'm happy to be their new buddy, making sure they feel safe and calm.

A few things I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. So I'm around the Pets most of the day. I also have a fenced in backyard for the them to run and and get some energy out. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: I’ve done rover before and I’ve made long friends with watching their pets I’ve seen them grow and be the best fur balls they are I’m home 24/7 . Your fur babies will have my full attention all week I will be home with them the whole time of their stay. He was understanding of Tao's occasional timidity after being bounced between multiple shelters as a puppy. About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.
About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
