It was a 10 day stay which is the longest we've ever left Oso with a Rover, and felt very secure with Amani the entire time. She was very communicative from the get-go, scheduling a meet beforehand to make sure Oso was comfortable at their home and with their other dog. They have a great fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and I know from Oso's GPS collar that he went on several walks and a dog park trip. Amani provided updates and photos every day which was great. And lastly, she was willing to give him his ear drop medication every day while he was there, which made us very relieved. About: I've had lots of experience with dogs in my life! Through high school I worked at a grooming salon washing dogs of all different sizes and temperaments. My beloved rat-chi passed away last year and I've been watching friends' and co-workers' dogs since then of all different shapes and sizes. There's a special place in my heart for seniors and lap dogs, but I absolutely love dogs of any size. I'm strong, fit and assertive enough to feel comfortable with dogs 80+ pounds, and intuitive and sensitive enough to cater to the little guys! I'm great with people too - I'm happy to listen to what your dog's needs and routines are and honor those as if they were my own fur babies. Pets are like people and they all have their own wonderful personality. I genuinely look forward to getting to know your special dog! My job is part-time and flexible - I'm home most weekdays for the majority of the day, and weekends can be tailored to your pet. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for your dog to safely explore and play (always with supervision, of course!). I currently don't own any pets so yours is the star of the show! I'm used to dogs who are crate trained, but if your dog is not crate trained, I am happy to accommodate them as long as they are not property-destructive and as long as they are potty trained. I'll give your dog as much attention and/or space as they like in the home, whether they're feeling shy, clingy, tired or playful. It's normal for dogs to feel out of sorts in a new home with their parents away, and I'm happy to be their new buddy, making sure they feel safe and calm.

About: I have grown up with dogs from a young kid and they have always been a constant in my life. My kids always had at least 2 dogs in the house and even though they are gone, I still loving pets around. If it helps lighten the load when packing, I havethe following items already: Extra dog beds Dog bowls including a slow feeder Feel free to pack these items if course if they will make your pup happier to have their own. A few things I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. So I'm around the Pets most of the day. I also have a fenced in backyard for the them to run and and get some energy out. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

About: Hello! My name is Mia and my experience with animals even from a young age I’ve always loved them. Im also an animal science major so besides my experience with companion animals I have experience with farm animals. I also work at a doggy daycare throughout my breaks and summer time so 40 hours a week im constantly around doggies! “Amani and her family did a great job with Oso over the long holiday break. It was a 10 day stay which is the longest we've ever left Oso with a Rover, and felt very secure with Amani the entire time. She was very communicative from the get-go, scheduling a meet beforehand to make sure Oso was comfortable at their home and with their other dog. They have a great fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and I know from Oso's GPS collar that he went on several walks and a dog park trip. Amani provided updates and photos every day which was great. And lastly, she was willing to give him his ear drop medication every day while he was there, which made us very relieved. Would definitely book with Amani again!”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
