About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Hyattsville with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-6 y/o, Pomeranian-17 y/o, Husky-12 y/o, and Pittie-8 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I currently work as a substitute teacher and part-time for parks and rec. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). About: I’ve loved dogs all my life and have always had one since the age of 4. I’ve had the chance to dogsit my families dogs with very different personalities and new fur babies around the city. I have a small dog and she’s sweet, friendly and calm, who’d be in the residence as well. I work from home so I’d be there 24/7 to care for your pet! Since I already care for my baby Dayton and day out, adding more fur babies to the routine is never an issue. You fur baby will be given all the love and attention it could ask for if you choose us. I will follow whatever feeding schedule or medicine schedule is given. Your dogs health and comfort is the utmost important. Dogs will be taken out like clock work as I have a small dog that doesn’t like to hold her bladder. Gated yard for free roaming! I love to give treats but if there is a certain kind you like or if you prefer me to not give them just let me know.

As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. I am very active and love taking long walks or light jogs, just like your pup! Gus is also an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so it's very easy for me to pop out before work, lunchtime, it after work to take a long walk. If it helps lighten the load when packing, I havethe following items already: Extra dog beds Dog bowls including a slow feeder Toys Feel free to pack these items if course if they will make your pup happier to have their own. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so it's very easy for me to pop out before work, lunchtime, it after work to take a long walk. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: I grew up with a high-energy Siberian husky and a large mutt (~80 lbs) who were both dog reactive. I learned how to handle them from as soon as I was strong enough to not get pulled into the street! I loved taking them on runs, hikes, long walks, and pretty much anything outdoors. I currently have a two-year-old golden retriever mix at home who loves people, playing, dog parks, hikes, loafing on the couch, and lots of attention (all of which I am more than happy to provide for her). I was recently laid off and am returning to school to get EMT certified soon, so I have a lot of free time to care for your dog! I have housesat for friends with smaller dogs in the past as well and would welcome the opportunity to housesit any size dog :) I am located near town center market in Riverdale Park and have a car. I'm currently in evening classes so other than that I have most weekdays free for walks at whatever time is most convenient for you. For housesitting, I would need time to attend those classes and walk my own dog but would be able to not leave your dog unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. I will be very respectful of your home and would happily attend to any plants you have as well (I enjoy gardening quite a bit). I want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me in your house. I have experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, whether they’re playful puppies and kittens or senior pets needing extra patience and care. I’ve also raised two puppies of my own, so I’m very familiar with puppy care, training, routines, and the patience and attention young dogs need. As a college student and future grad student at UMD, I have a very flexible schedule, especially over the summer and into next semester. I’m available for overnight stays, daily check-ins, walks, feeding, medication administration, and giving your pets plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I understand every pet has different needs, and I always make it a priority to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! As a college and future grad student here at UMD, I have a flexible schedule with availability for overnights, walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I always make sure to ask questions not only about your puppy but your house and regular routines. Health in animals is very important while you’re away so I always ask to have detailed notes or instructions.
About: While I’ve always had dogs growing up, I am also very well-versed in dog and cat sitting. Whether that’s walking, feeding, changing cat litter, or simply keeping them company. I’m currently working part-tim so pet care fits great into my daily/weekly routine! I can do daily visits up to 3 times a day, whatever fits your schedule best. I will care for your pets however you prefer. Whether that’s a walk, letting them outside in a safe background, or watching your cat(s).
