Pet care is my full time job, and I look forward to working with you and your pet! I’ve taken care of many pets throughout my life. I raised my own amazing Boxer dog (see pictures with white boxer) during my teenage years and early adulthood and it’s something I miss everyday. I have experience with small dogs, medium sized dogs and large dogs, no one is too big or small! I'm very knowledgable with all ages of animals, from 8 week old puppies up to very senior dogs. I have experience with dogs who need extra care, including being visually impaired, highly anxious or energetic, and those who need medications. I'm comfortable distributing pills and liquid medication orally as well as administering eye drops. I’ve gone on countless numbers of walks, drop-ins, and completed overnight to multi-week long stays with multiple animals under the same roof. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks and 24/7 overnight care when house sitting. I always try to do an in-person meet and greet with you and your pet before a booking to ensure we are the best fit. However, I am flexible to move forward without one if your calendar does not permit it, and your pet is okay when I arrive without meeting first. I am extremely communicative and will always let you know when I am on my way and have wrapped up with your pet. I take lots of pictures and leave very detailed notes so that it almost feels like you're there! I do my best to include owners as much as possible throughout the entirety of our booking, so you are completely up to date and never have to worry. Taking care of your pet is my first priority and I want to make sure you and your pet are as comfortable as possible when in my care. I’m very timely, trustworthy and responsible with all pets to ensure they’re loved and well taken care of. I am very consistent with my pet care, no matter the environment. I find consistency is key when building relationships with pets so they know what to expect from my care, and trust my care. I also stick to the schedule you and your pet typically have to ensure your pet feels regulated while you're away. I follow directions given to me from owners very closely and am very attentive to what a pet is signaling what they need in every moment. I'm also very respectful of an animal's boundaries to ensure their comfort with me, especially when we are alone. I lead with love and care and will definitely treat your pet as my own.
Ratings and reviews
Caris was fantastic with my kitties! Normally they're anxious around new people, but they took to her right away. She gave them their meds, took lots of pictures, and was very communicative. I'll definitely hire her again!
My dog is 15 and has health problems. It is difficult to trust someone with her care because I struggle with it. I have been super lucky to find some great people on Rover that are gentle and kind with my dog. Caris took great care of her was responsive when we needed her in a pinch. I highly recommend Caris!
Caris did an excellent job sitting for our cat. She was very communicative, sharing detailed reports and photos from her visits. Our shy cat seemed to warm up to her pretty quickly. I’ll definitely rebook Caris in the future!
Caris took great care of my two cats while I was out of town! I appreciated her noting when she was arriving and receiving substantial updates so I knew they were well taken care of.

Caris did a great job with our sometimes-nervous rescue English bulldog. Caris is responsive, timely, dependable, and flexible, and also has great calming energy for our dog. When we needed additional walks added, Caris did her best to accommodate and help us make sure our pup was taken care of, despite a (well-deserved) full schedule. We would definitely trust Caris to take care of our dog again!

Schedule
I provide pet care full time and my schedule is very flexible, as taking care of your pet is my first priority. I keep my calendar consistently up to date so I can provide you with the most accurate booking experience. I am available for one-time bookings and weekly ongoing care. I also have a vehicle so it easy for me to get around the city and to your pet within the timeframe you provide.
