“Rut and her husband took care of Georgie for two nights this week. As a pup parent, having reliable care for my fur baby is at the top of my priority list and Rut is definitely just that. Not only did I not have to worry about his safety and well being but I was certain he was having a blast. I got frequent and detailed updates throughout his whole stay and Rut was incredibly flexible with pick up, drop off and my changing plans.”

“Well it’s official — Milan and I have found our new trusted dog sitter! 🐾 We were specifically looking for someone closer to home, and Roxanne and Leo exceeded every expectation. From the moment we connected, I knew Milan would be in loving and caring hands. Roxanne provided consistent communication, daily updates, and the sweetest photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. For the first time in a long time, I was able to fully relax and enjoy my vacation stress-free knowing Milan was not only being cared for, but genuinely loved on and enjoying herself too. Milan truly had a little vacation of her own with Roxanne and Leo! I’m beyond grateful we found them. Finding someone you can fully trust with your fur baby is priceless, and I cannot recommend them enough. 🤍”

“Charnetta (and her daughters!) took top notch care of Luna. She sent me multiple updates daily to let me know that Luna was doing well and was very communicative the entire time. She did everything that I could possibly ask for and more. She is a true professional and I highly recommend hiring her to watch your pet!!!”

“Matthew took great care of our dog! He regularly sent pictures and our pup came home exhausted from all the yard/park play. Will definitely book again with him next time we go away.”

“Elsie had another great stay with Supon! So great she wasn't sure she wanted to leave! I hate leaving her, but it's a lot easier when I know she's in such good hands. Supon sends me lots of pictures that make clear that Elsie is having a blast. It's great for her to be spending time with other dogs since she's home alone most days, and I think it helps her socialization a lot. Every time I drop her off, she is thrilled to see Supon and marches straight into the house. Spending time at his house is a vacation for her! It's obvious to me how much Supon loves the dogs he takes care of, which is why he has become my go-to person to take care of Elsie when I go out of town.”

“Frida and Charlie were wonderful caretakers for my little pup. Frida was immediately responsive with texts and pics during Bailey’s stay. I often got more than one update a day! I look forward to more adventures knowing that Bailey will be well taken care of”

“Austin and Majid took great care of our pup while we were away for a week. Our dog is a rescue with a history of some behavioral issues, and what drew us to them is that they were very comfortable and confident in taking care of pups with all kinds of temperaments. We appreciated the updates and felt great knowing she was safe and well-cared for.”

“Morgan was awesome; she kept us updated with pictures and EJ had a great time at her house. We will definitely use her again soon...highly recommended!”
“Christine was great with my shyer pup. My dog gets a bit nervous the first day away but she seemed happy and cuddly and not wanting to leave her side by day 2. We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Katie was an excellent sitter for Porkchop and Bronson. She communicated regularly and sent pictures, was flexible with pick up and drop-off, made sure they both received plenty of exercise, and modified Porkchops feeding when he had digestive issues. Would absolutely book with her again!!!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! Super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was proactive about making sure our dog was as comfortable as possible during her stay. It was clear that she is knowledgable and experienced in caring for all kinds of dogs.”

“Haydenn was super responsive and wonderful with our 10 year old dog, Fern. We had to make a change in our plans at the last minute, and he was very accommodating. We would definitely use him again in the future!”

“Lara was amazing! This was my first time booking a dog sitter in DC, so I was initially nervous. Lara immediately put my mind at ease with pics/updates shortly after I dropped off and sent them regularly throughout the remainder of my time away. My pups were happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun they had when I picked them up. I’d definitely rebook with Lara and would recommend her services to anyone else.”

“Thank you to Nicole for taking such good care of Shadow. She was very consistent in her updates and let me know how much fun he was having in the backyard. Shadow definitely appreciate the open space to run around and be a happy puppy! Would highly recommend Nicole’s services!!!”

“Francise was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Ollie! She took him on lovely walks around town, helped him meet new people, and made sure he got plenty of exercise and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about his happiness and well-being. I came home to a very content pup! I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“We are so thankful we found Melanie to watch our golden retriever Darcy over the holidays! She was incredibly kind, flexible, and communicative. Every photo she sent truly looked like a professional shot, and our pup looked incredibly happy in each one, which offered us so much peace of mind while traveling. We highly recommend Melanie!”

Mickinley was absolutely great. She was very kind, polite, and full of positive energy. She was also incredibly flexible and willing to adjust to my changing schedule, which I really appreciated. Before the booking, we scheduled a meet-and-greet, and she was happy to come to my home to meet Flash and start building a bond with him. While I was away, she took wonderful care of him and regularly sent me photos and updates, which gave me real peace of mind knowing he was happy and doing well. I would definitely recommend McKinley to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable to look after their pup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

Joseph kept in daily contact while I was away with updates and photos of CJ. This gave me such peace of mind during my long trip. Also, CJ seemed to have much less anxiety than usual about staying with a sitter for the first time- no hunger strike! Thank you Joseph!

Reese was so great! She communicated consistently with pictures of my baby throughout the day and sent check ins without me having to ask. I honestly felt that my dog was in great hands as soon as I dropped him off but even better when I saw how comfortable he got with her. Definitely booking again in the future.

Vanessa was wonderful with my dog Buttons! She sent pictures everyday! Buttons had so digestive issues one of the days and she knew exactly what to do! She took very good care of him and let me know through out the day how he was doing. He had plenty of loving, walks and play time. I am so thankful that I found Vanessa! I could enjoy my vacation and didnt have to worry about Buttons, knowing that she was looking after him, especially when he was not feeling good that day. Her apartment is adorable and very clean. Buttons loves her!❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
