“Erika was amazing and responsive! She kept me up to date on Arthur’s stay tha I didn’t have to worry if he was ok. He had lots of walks and visits to the dog park. Best of all, he came back like himself. Warm and happy.”

“Lia was responsive and sent detailed updates throughout each day. Lia was also very flexible with some last minute changes I needed to make to the booking. Foxy had a great time staying with her!”

About: I've been a dog owner for 12 years, and a dog and pet lover my whole life! I have had to send my two dogs to heaven in the last two years, and I miss having dogs in my life, but I'm not quite ready to adopt again. But I'd love to help owners with their pets, and shower them with affection and walks and dog park visits while they are in my care. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture in my home, of course! I telework 3 days per week, and when I am not teleworking I work short days, and am home most evenings as well. I am also available to sit in your home as well! While I don't have a yard, I live in Del Ray with many parks, trails, and dog friends to spend time with. I'm very active and love to hike and walk.
“Shane went above and beyond while caring for my dog for nearly 2 weeks, providing daily medication, updates and photos each evening, and even a pup cup with a “6” candle on her birthday. Shane was patient and kind to my dog who can run anxious - top notch, a true professional, I couldn’t recommend more. Thank you!”

“Mary Hastings was available last minute to board our dog on New Year's Eve for a medical appointment, and we couldn't be more thankful. Our pup loves hanging out with her and always comes back tired and sleepy.”

“My dog clearly likes being with Julie, who makes her feel very comfortable and loved. Julie also regularly provides informative photos/videos about how the day is going. I highly recommend her.”

“Cierra looked after our 8yr old anxious chihuahua for 8 days. Communication was excellent, we got pictures and videos and text updates every day. Our dog had some special needs and Cierra was more than capable of handling them. She is very professional and reliable and we will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

“Nina was great with Ghibli!!! She sent lots of photos of a busy, happy boy and he came home very pleased with himself. I don’t think he missed me at all.”

“Shelby was a life saver, she made pick up and drop off a breeze and was so easy to communicate with. She sent regular pictures and updates which gave me peace of mind that everything was just fine. Hank came home happy, relaxed and tuckered out, all signs of a great time with Shelby and Rona. Hank can be a little anxious but he seemed to settle in quickly and even made himself right at home stealing a couple steaks off the counter 🤦🏼♀️. We will definitely be booking another stay very soon!!”

“Outstanding communication and great care. Highly recommend! Jenna and her husband gave great care to both of our pups (one of which is in his senior years). They are both very pleasant people. Excellent communication and Jenna sent a lot of great pictures while we were away. You could tell the pups were very happy and well cared for during their stay. Thank you!”

“Stephanie and Luis are the absolute best! They provided fantastic care for Toto. The communication was outstanding and frequent. The reassuring updates made my time away completely stress-free. Toto came home incredibly happy and well-cared for. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I'm Krista and I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them. I recently said goodbye to my sweet and quirky 12‑year‑old German Shepherd. Caring for her throughout the years has given me experience with all the different stages from energetic pups to the oldies with mobility challenges and slower routines. My shepherd struggled with anxiety around other dogs, so I’m very familiar with reading body language, creating safe distance, and keeping walks calm and controlled. Throughout the years, I have cared for and spent ample time with doggos belonging to friends and family members and look forward to the opportunity to give others peace of mind when they need to leave their loved ones. Lots of walks, pets, play time and of course, photos/videos for owners! I work from home so there are lots of opportunities to go outside. There are a few parks nearby and lots of grassy areas. I also have dog beds, dishes and plenty of toys! Please note, my building unfortunately has restrictions on the following dog breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Malamute, Pit Bull Breeds, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Wolf Dogs. I live in a condo building but there's lots of areas outside to venture around! I do own a crate if needed/preferred. I will bring your dog on many walks and ensure they have lots of play time (for the youngins) and rest (for the oldies) :)
“I needed 5 hours of dog care for my newly rescued senior Pomeranian and I’m so grateful to have found Donna. Donna provided a calm and caring environment for my dog to feel comfortable and relaxed, and they took a 20 minute walk together. Thank you so much, Donna!”

“Jasmine and Stormi were great with Roxy. Roxy was transitioning between dog foods during her stay and Jasmine handled it like a pro. I would highly recommend Jasmine for your next trip.”

“Nicole was great with our dog Shira, Shira felt right at home. Nicole kept me informed and sent me daily pictures of Shira lounging on the sofa, bed, being the spoiled princess that she is. Nicole also took care of my cat, and we will be using her again. Highly recommended.”

“Briana was proactive in coordinating a meet-and-greet and put my pup and me at ease immediately! She was responsive and flexible, and my pup had a great time.”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
“Joy was able to take in my Manny after a last minute sitter cancellation. She was very responsive and sent me the most adorable pictures and videos. I will definitely be booking with Joy again and would always recommend her to any dog parents!”
“King had an awesome time with Melanie, Greg and their family! The consistent communication and photos were greatly appreciated. Glad to have found a sitter I can trust.”

Shelby was one of the best sitters Miso has ever had- she was easygoing, super communicative, and made sure Miso received the absolute best care even though Miso has an ever growing list of needs as she’s gotten older. Miso came back happy and well-rested and really enjoyed having access to a backyard!

Brieana and her family were absolutely amazing! We had a last minute cancellation with the person who typically watches Vito and she responded immediately and set up a meet greet. We could sense the comfort Vito felt with the family the second he walked in so we already had an overwhelming feeling of calm going into our weekend. When picking him up he was so happy but also super relaxed and it was clear he had a great stay with them. I couldn’t suggest Brieana enough. She will be at the top of our list for Vito I’m pretty sure he’s found a new best friend 😊.
Cristian was amazing with Chinnu. Chinnu really enjoyed his time with Cristian. He kept us updated with many cute photos during our travel. When our flight was delayed Cristian gave us so much peace of mind. I would highly recommend Cristian as a dog sitter and will be using him again!

Max is our go-to sitter. He takes such good care of our dog and always sends photo updates throughout the stay. We feel great about the care our pup always gets when we send her to stay with Max and highly recommend his care to anyone on the fence about who to go to with their own pet needs.

Patience was absolutely AMAZING!! She cared for my pup like she was family. Peaches acted like she didn’t want to come home. Lol! Patience communicates daily with videos and messages to provide reassurance that your fur baby is great hands. I would highly recommend her and look forward to booking with Patience again in the coming weeks. I cannot thank her enough for her support and the TLC she gave to Peaches.

Elizabeth was great to work with, sent me daily pictures and updates of Zoe and was flexible when I needed to change the pick up time. She and Kim clearly cared for Zoe and asked for updates on how she was doing after I had picked her up. I will definitely book future stays for Zoe with them!

Joy has been our go to for over a year now. We love that she only takes one family at a time so the experience is more personable. She has a fenced in yard that my dogs love. She is also very prompt at responding at requests and general messages. Thank you Joy! -Deuce and Storm

Serena is fantastic and a great person. When a problem came up between my dog and an off leash dog, she immediately texted/called/video called and kept me updated the whole time. While my dog was happy to see me, she was mad she had to leave Serena because she got all the attention and walks she demands. Highly recommend Serena and any dog will have the time of their life with her

Melissa was incredible with our Bear Bear. He struggles with separation anxiety, but her warm and gentle demeanor put him completely at ease. She kept us in the loop with tons of photos — Bear playing, enjoying treats, running around the backyard, and snuggling up. It didn't take long for him to go from anxious to absolutely in Love. We'll definitely be booking Melissa again. She's the best!
