I love all animals!
I've taken care of countless breeds since my parents got a dog when I was a kid. I’m comfortable caring for small, medium, large. I have a border collie mix that is the light of my life. I love all dogs, no matter how old, large, or active! I work from home and can walk dogs in the morning, lunch, mid-day, after work, and at night. Also happy to take care of dogs overnight. I have a very open schedule. I do not have children in the home. I have a front and backyard where the pups can play all day. I also live walking distance from Anacostia park and driving distance from several different dog parks. I’m happy to find any dog park near you for walks, and cater to your dogs needs whether that's walking slow and letting them sniff, or running around to get that energy out! Being as thought My neighborhood is pretty quiet and extremely dog-friendly. I work from home, so any pet and their needs will be catered to all day. My schedule is relatively flexible, and my evenings are generally open. I have two fenced yards where your pup can play. I also have a Rona boy who loves to play and is always down to make new friends. I’m flexible to any of your pets needs.

We were incredibly grateful for Shelby's responsiveness and flexibility during a truly last-minute situation. She stepped in without hesitation to board our dog, kept us fully updated with regular photos and thoughtful notes, and made sure we always knew how Oslo was settling in. When our flights were unexpectedly delayed she went above and beyond by extending the boarding free of charge..an act of generosity that meant the world to us. Her professionalism, compassion and genuine care for our dog Oslo made a stressful travel situation so much easier. We couldn't recommend Shelby more highly and will absolutely book with her again.
Shelby took great care of our dog. He was happy and healthy, and got lots of love and outdoor time. Shelby was super responsive and communicative. We will definitely book with Shelby next time and recommend her to all of our friends.

Shelby was great!! This was my first time leaving my dog with a sitter and I was nervous about how she would do, but Shelby sent lots of updates and was super responsive which gave me a lot of peace of mind!
Shelby and Jordan were very attentive to Daisys needs and I can tell she had a wonderful time. I would recommend them to anyone.
Shelby always takes such great care of Tulip when we’re away. We haven’t found a sitter we can rely on like Shelby in such a long time! We always know that when we book with her Tulip is in great hands. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for someone responsive and reliable. The pics and videos are always a nice touch!
