“The care, attention to detail, and communication that June provides during overnight boarding is truly unmatched. From the moment Beau arrived, it was clear that his safety, comfort, and well-being were her top priorities. June took the time to understand his personality, routines, and quirks, which helped him feel comfortable and secure in a new environment. Thanks to her patience and genuine care, Beau was able to come out of his shell, build confidence, and truly enjoy his stay. One of the things I appreciated most was her communication. She provided thoughtful photo and video updates throughout the day, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious from every update that Beau was not only being cared for, but was genuinely happy and having fun. June was also incredibly proactive when it came to safety and planning. She clearly communicated how she would handle any unexpected situation and made sure I felt informed and reassured at every step. Knowing that Beau was in such capable and attentive hands allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away without any worry. I have used dog boarding and daycare services before, but I have never experienced this level of personalized care. June treats every dog as if they were her own, and that level of dedication is rare to find. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely exceptional caregiver for their pet. Beau cannot wait for his next stay with her.”

“Best decision we have ever made was using Alli to care for our angel!!! Our pup was immediately welcomed into her family and our dog was so sad to leave her new friends when we picked her up! We got so many photos of our dog enjoying her stay which made our trip so much better. Cannot recommend Alli enough!!!”

“Kathleen was great! I booked her for my puppy very last minute and she took care of him. I forgot his food and she accommodated him as I sent her money and he came back so happy.”

“Abigal was very kind with Chiquita, responsive and very communicative with pictures and daily updates on how she was doing. She accommodated a late arrival and a last minute change in pickup, and her care for my pup was visible. Great sitter and would gladly book again!”

“I recently had my Bella stay with Vania for 5 days. When I booked the appointment which was short notice I was thankful that Vania was will to accommodate me. Vania went above and beyond to provide great care to Bella, this was her 2nd time out of the home and from the time I dropped her off it was a challenge just to get her to indoors. I am thankful to Vania for her wonderful care of Bella and will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! Super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was proactive about making sure our dog was as comfortable as possible during her stay. It was clear that she is knowledgable and experienced in caring for all kinds of dogs.”

“Jasmine and Stormi were great with Roxy. Roxy was transitioning between dog foods during her stay and Jasmine handled it like a pro. I would highly recommend Jasmine for your next trip.”

“Branden was a great sitter for Beac. He was patient and considerate of his wants to sniff excessively since he was in a new environment. He was very friendly and open with me as well. Branden ensured that Beac was exercised well and had a chance to enjoy the environment and scenery around him; which was absolutely beautiful. Branden, THANK YOU!!! We will be repeat customers.”

“Sabrina was so caring and attentive to Ace. I really appreciate the time she took with him and even making some recommendations. She went above and beyond with Ace, so we will definitely be back again soon!!!”

“Payton and her husband were awesome! Our dogs had such an incredible time with them, they almost didn’t want to leave. They provided updates regularly and lots of mental stimulation and walks for our pups. Can’t wait to use them again!”

“Cant say enough good things about Fathia! She used my go to person when I have to board Thelma the Great. She's attentive, nurturing and treats Thelma like one of the family. I am grateful for her competence and warmth and I always know that Thelma will have a great place to stay when I'm away!”

“Sending a huge Thank You to the entire Hopkins Team! Nothing brings me more peace than knowing that Teddy is well taken care of and having a blast when I'm away and when he’s with them I’m truly at ease! Both he and I truly appreciate Team Hopkins and the experience they provide.”

“Christian was so great with Itty! She sent me pictures everyday of them out on walks and Itty curled up in the house. I would definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Leaving our precious pup was never easy until we met Donald & Jeffrey. They give so much attention and affection to our special needs girl! We’ve relied on them several times and it’s always been a pleasure. Highly recommend!”

“Beth took excellent care of our ~14 year old diabetic dog while we went away for a long weekend and was able to give her twice daily insulin shots. Even better, she lives 2 blocks from us, making the whole thing super easy and convenient. I'm sure Piggy appreciated being at home in her own neighborhood. 14/10, would do again! Thank you Beth!”

“Briana took great care of our fur baby. She sent daily updates and took her on multiple walks. She invited our pup into her family for the week. We will definitely use her again. Thank you Briana!”

“Corey is amazing. We used him for boarding services. He took very great care of Duchess and treated her has his own. He provided a status and pictures of her multiple times per day. I will definitely use his services again! Thank you so much Corey!”

“I was very nervous because I never left Niko with anyone before. I got a new job that requires me to travel more than usual. When I requested service, not only did she respond via app but she called me directly. Made me feel very comfortable. I decided to use Shaela and she kept me updated with pics and videos the entire week. I will most definitely use her again if available next time. Niko came home happy and healthy and thats all that matters 🙂”

About: Hi! I'm Krista and I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them. I recently said goodbye to my sweet and quirky 12‑year‑old German Shepherd. Caring for her throughout the years has given me experience with all the different stages from energetic pups to the oldies with mobility challenges and slower routines. My shepherd struggled with anxiety around other dogs, so I’m very familiar with reading body language, creating safe distance, and keeping walks calm and controlled. Throughout the years, I have cared for and spent ample time with doggos belonging to friends and family members and look forward to the opportunity to give others peace of mind when they need to leave their loved ones. Lots of walks, pets, play time and of course, photos/videos for owners! I work from home so there are lots of opportunities to go outside. There are a few parks nearby and lots of grassy areas. I also have dog beds, dishes and plenty of toys! Please note, my building unfortunately has restrictions on the following dog breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Malamute, Pit Bull Breeds, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Wolf Dogs. I live in a condo building but there's lots of areas outside to venture around! I do own a crate if needed/preferred. I will bring your dog on many walks and ensure they have lots of play time (for the youngins) and rest (for the oldies) :)

Brieana and her family were absolutely amazing! We had a last minute cancellation with the person who typically watches Vito and she responded immediately and set up a meet greet. We could sense the comfort Vito felt with the family the second he walked in so we already had an overwhelming feeling of calm going into our weekend. When picking him up he was so happy but also super relaxed and it was clear he had a great stay with them. I couldn’t suggest Brieana enough. She will be at the top of our list for Vito I’m pretty sure he’s found a new best friend 😊.
Thank you again, Lilian, for taking such thoughtful care of Ruby and Ivy while I was away in Washington state. It gave me a great sense of peace knowing they were in a calm, attentive, and caring environment while I traveled. I appreciated the updates, communication, and overall kindness shown throughout their stay. It was clear they were well looked after and treated with patience and care. I would absolutely recommend your services to others looking for a trustworthy caretaker for their pets.

Dionne Is great 😊 My Pups & I love her service that she provided us. She was very caring, loving, and went above and beyond to make sure they felt comfortable. She walked them sent pics and videos and also fed them properly! I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE REBOOKING WITH HER ❤️ MY ADVICE TO YOU ALL BOOK HER SHES AMAZING COMMUTATION IS AS WELL ‼️‼️‼️

Myesha is such an angel! This is the second time I’ve booked with her almost 6 months apart. When I went for drop off, my Prada instantly became a big puppy. You could tell she remembered her, enjoyed her, and was really happy to be back. That means a lot to me! Even on pick up, Prada was prancing around so happily as if she would see her again. That energy was so genuine and I truly appreciate Myesha. I’m not even sure Prada would let me book with someone else! ♥️.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
