“Joe was great—easy-going and accomodating. My dog had a great time with Joe and two other dogs! He messaged me updates and photos during the 7 days away from our dog, which was very reassuring. Joe even took my dog on a 5 mile run! Will definately book with Joe again. This was the first time using Rover.com, and I highly recommend. I also highly recommend your dog stay with JOE!”

“Stephanie was such a great host to my dog Bruno, she maintained communication/updates throughout the visit and was very attentive to my instructions for Bruno given he has a hard time adjusting to new places. Would definitely book with them again! -Lindsay”

“We had a great experience with Diego and Natalia watching Monty and Oliver. They were very communicative and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos while we were away, which we really appreciated. Our dogs are energetic and full of personality, and they were patient and great with them. We came home to two happy dogs and would definitely book with him again.”

“Zulma took such great care of my two Shitzus Louie & Zoey. I got regular photo/video updates which I really appreciated. She asked for permission, which I gave, to bathe them, they were most likely smelly due to the weather. Can I tell you when we picked them up they were so silky, shiney and soft! Even more so than when they come from the groomers. I really must ask her what is the product she used! We will most definitely book her again!”

“I’d definitely book with Christian again. She took great care of my dog. Sent pictures everyday and was very attentive during my dog’s stay. Sometimes with other Rover stays, my dog acts differently or shy for a few days. My dog was in perfect spirits after her stay with Christian.”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.
“Jasmine and Stormi were great with Roxy. Roxy was transitioning between dog foods during her stay and Jasmine handled it like a pro. I would highly recommend Jasmine for your next trip.”

“Janel was a wonderful caregiver for our small shy rescue dog Amos. She tried hard to win his trust, and she succeeded by giving him the type of attention and care he needed. I highly recommend Janel and will certainly use her again the next time. Carol. August 2023”

“The best sitters we have had! Our two dogs had a ton of fun during their long stay. We loved the daily updates with photos. Will be booking all of our future stays with Lynette and Vincent. Thank you!!”

“Jenna sent the best photos of Milo. She was so sweet and took really good care of my furbaby. I am thankful for her and her husband’s patience with my high energy dog. 5 out of 5 stars.”

“This was Smokey’s second time boarding with Elissa. We are so lucky to have found her on Rover. She sends updates, asks thoughtful questions, and is very responsive. Highly recommend.”

“Sabrina was literally a God send. We were in an emergency situation and Sabrina stepped in immediately. She loved on our babies and accommodated them like they were her own. I think we found our forever Rover sitter.”

“Nicole and family did an amazing job with Zack! He had such a great time that he's now exhausted 😴👍. Their kindness, responsiveness, and care were truly appreciated – thank you for making our experience so special!”

“Payton and Graham were fantastic with our dog, Indy. They have a backyard he loved playing in, but even more impressive they were able to get his halter on (he's extremely headshy) and take him on actual walks. Videos they sent showed Indy snuggling with Payton in a way he has only done with us before. Communication was excellent, and Indy clearly loved being there. Not only would we book again with Payton and Graham, I'm doing so right now!”

“Alli and her family were absolutely perfect with Brady. We received constant updates and she was very attentive with Brady’s medicine schedule and his hip dysplasia. We will definitely use Alli again to watch Brady. He came home so tired!”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Suitland is $50

Brieana and her family were absolutely amazing! We had a last minute cancellation with the person who typically watches Vito and she responded immediately and set up a meet greet. We could sense the comfort Vito felt with the family the second he walked in so we already had an overwhelming feeling of calm going into our weekend. When picking him up he was so happy but also super relaxed and it was clear he had a great stay with them. I couldn’t suggest Brieana enough. She will be at the top of our list for Vito I’m pretty sure he’s found a new best friend 😊.
Thank you again, Lilian, for taking such thoughtful care of Ruby and Ivy while I was away in Washington state. It gave me a great sense of peace knowing they were in a calm, attentive, and caring environment while I traveled. I appreciated the updates, communication, and overall kindness shown throughout their stay. It was clear they were well looked after and treated with patience and care. I would absolutely recommend your services to others looking for a trustworthy caretaker for their pets.

Dionne Is great 😊 My Pups & I love her service that she provided us. She was very caring, loving, and went above and beyond to make sure they felt comfortable. She walked them sent pics and videos and also fed them properly! I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE REBOOKING WITH HER ❤️ MY ADVICE TO YOU ALL BOOK HER SHES AMAZING COMMUTATION IS AS WELL ‼️‼️‼️

Myesha is such an angel! This is the second time I’ve booked with her almost 6 months apart. When I went for drop off, my Prada instantly became a big puppy. You could tell she remembered her, enjoyed her, and was really happy to be back. That means a lot to me! Even on pick up, Prada was prancing around so happily as if she would see her again. That energy was so genuine and I truly appreciate Myesha. I’m not even sure Prada would let me book with someone else! ♥️.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
