Pups 'N Us Pet Care Services has proudly served pets and their families throughout the DMV area since 2021. As a family-owned business, we are committed to providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for every pet entrusted to us. I am currently pursuing a career in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Technician and am also Fear Free Certified, which allows me to care for your pet’s entire well being. My experience includes caring for puppies, senior pets, anxious pets, and pets with special medical needs. I am comfortable administering oral, topical, eye, and ear medications as well as insulin injections. I also have experience with ear cleanings, nail trims, bandage care, wound monitoring, and post-surgical support. My teenage daughter Amaya is my apprentice learning the ropes of the pet care world. Pups 'N Us was honored as a Neighborhood Fave on the Nextdoor app in 2024, and we are grateful for the trust our community continues to place in us. Our goal is simple: provide a safe and loving environment where pets can thrive while giving their families complete peace of mind.

Dissatisfied visit. Mostly due to posts and videos of care given. Received portrait pics. I already know what my pet looks like. No pics showing interaction with two other dogs there. No pics showing toys played with, or even area or bed provided to stay in. No outside pics, no walking, or even playing anywhere. First time for pet and owner and was verbally given impression more attention would be given. What was received was reports of pet not eating and stand still video and pics of his portrait. For all we know our pet was locked in a room the whole 4days! Very disappointed and will not use this person again. Even though it was the holidays and she has 6 kids and other dogs to care for, we still paid for a service we thought was better than it was and would provide more then we were given. Especially when it is communicated as such.
I am truly Tayshawn took great care of Kash. She sent pictures, updated me daily on how he was doing. I would recommend her to everyone and without a doubt will call upon her again.
It was a great experience for my baby dog. He had a great time Dax fit right in with the other dogs. Ms. T was excellent with him. Will stay again
Tayshawn responded to my booking request promptly and got all the details she needed. During his visit, I received photos, videos, and other details about how he was doing. I can tell he received love, affection, and attention and will definitely book again!
Tayshawn is amazing with pets. She took great care of my dogs. She sends photo and video updates throughout the day. She’s very responsive and caring. My dogs and I are very happy with the care that they received. She deserves more than 5 stars!
I was nervous letting someone babysit my puppy nugget for the first time but tayshawn made my experience great. She communicated with me the whole time and sent me pictures/videos of my puppy. Kept me updated on how he was doing while with her. I will definitely be booking with her again. Nugget enjoyed his time and was well taken care of.

Our schedules allow us to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and individualized attention throughout the day, so your pet is never alone and always cared for. We work hard to maintain your pet's normal routine whenever possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, exercise, and rest periods.

Pups 'N Us is a cage-free, open atmosphere. We allow all our paw pals to roam around the home as if it were their own. We treat all our guests as if they were our own pups. Whether your pet enjoys active play or prefers a quieter environment, care is tailored to their unique personality and needs. We provide daily updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are our highest priorities.

A typical day
We understand how important it is to create a calm, low-stress environment where pets feel safe and secure. Because of this, all drop-offs and pick-ups will take place downstairs, outside of the home. We will then walk your pet upstairs and inside so they learn that entering our home is a calm, positive experience and can settle in without the added excitement of seeing their family at the door. This helps reduce anxiety, prevents door dashing, and makes transitions much smoother for both arriving and departing pets. This also reinforces that our home is a safe space for them rather than a place they’re constantly trying to leave. We carefully monitor all pets in our care and take time to learn their routines, preferences, and individual needs. What sets us apart is not just our years of experience, but our commitment and love for community and family. We are so happy that we get to meet so many new pups and their families. We are excited to welcome you all to the pack!
