I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and caregiver, with years of experience handling dogs of various breeds, ages, personalities, and sizes. My wife and I share our home with Coco, our friendly, neutered nine-year-old Chihuahua, who’s happy to welcome new furry friends. We also have a cat, Atenea, who is calm and accustomed to dogs that are respectful and cat-friendly. Our spacious home features a large, fully enclosed backyard, perfect for play, exploration, and supervised outdoor time. We typically host one dog at a time to ensure personalized care, or up to two dogs if they’re from the same household. We’re located in the Capitol View neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Diego and Natalia are simply outstanding! They pour lots of love into our dog, Parker. I could not have hoped for better sitters.
Our 6 month old puppy, Rupert, had a great time with Diego and Natalia! He came home happy and tired. We were able to have a stress-free vacation and appreciated the video updates of Rupert having fun with his buddies!
Our pup loves to stay with Diego and Natalia and once again came home tired and happy from all the playtime in their backyard. We have complete peace of mind when he stays with them because we get lots of photos and updates! A great experience all around.
Diego and Natalia are simply the best! This time around I had to extend Parker's stay due to a medical situation and not only were they super accommodating, they went out of their way to stop by our house and grab more food for Parker. I could not hope for a better support network than the love Parker gets in their care.
Diego and Natalia are my top #1 sitter's. They are very intuned with Snow's disposition/temperment.
We had a great experience with Diego and Natalia watching Monty and Oliver. They were very communicative and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos while we were away, which we really appreciated. Our dogs are energetic and full of personality, and they were patient and great with them. We came home to two happy dogs and would definitely book with him again.

Schedule
Because I work from home, and my wife is also a big animal lover, your pup will rarely be alone and will get plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re available for care from early morning through late evening, and overnight stays are always welcome. Your dog will have plenty of cozy options, including extra beds, blankets, and toys, and Coco and I (and Atenea!) are happy to share our space.

We incorporate regular outdoor breaks, whether that’s playtime in the yard, a neighborhood walk, or simply unwinding together outdoors. Each day balances engagement and rest, with plenty of affection, calm companionship, and responsiveness to your dog’s cues, ensuring they feel secure, settled, and truly at home.
