I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and caregiver, with years of experience handling dogs of various breeds, ages, personalities, and sizes. My wife and I share our home with Coco, our friendly, neutered nine-year-old Chihuahua, who’s happy to welcome new furry friends. We also have a cat, Atenea, who is calm and accustomed to dogs that are respectful and cat-friendly. Our spacious home features a large, fully enclosed backyard, perfect for play, exploration, and supervised outdoor time. We typically host one dog at a time to ensure personalized care, or up to two dogs if they’re from the same household. We’re located in the Capitol View neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Diego and Natalia are THE BEST SITTERS for my Snow who demands love, attention and closeness. The photos of Snow playing with their cat's toy, at the window with their cat, both of them looking out of the the window is a regular meeting place with each other. At home Snow has started perching herself on the back of our sofa and even enjoying some of her best naps of the day. My family is very grateful for the care and attentiveness of Diego and Natalia toward Snow but also to the other pets being boarded during the same time. Photos of the pets hanging out together are reassuring that all the pets are well regarded by these sitters.
Diego and Natalia were amazing with our Rico, especially taking him so last minute! This was my first time using Rover for my own dog, and I’m so happy I went with them. Rico clearly felt right at home and was so comfortable and relaxed with them. Their communication was amazing, and you can tell they genuinely care about the pets they watch. I also received lots of photos and videos throughout Rico’s stay, which I loved! We will definitely be booking with Diego and Natalia again!

Diego & Natalia are the best! They are attentive to our blind pug’s needs & always take such good care of him.
Our dog starts getting excited once she recognizes the route while driving to Diego's. Waiting for Diego to his door after ringing his doorbell, Snow starts to whine, scratching on his storm door to get in. She is always well received and well cared for without exception.
Diego and Natalia are simply outstanding! They pour lots of love into our dog, Parker. I could not have hoped for better sitters.

Schedule
Because I work from home, and my wife is also a big animal lover, your pup will rarely be alone and will get plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re available for care from early morning through late evening, and overnight stays are always welcome. Your dog will have plenty of cozy options, including extra beds, blankets, and toys, and Coco and I (and Atenea!) are happy to share our space.

We’re happy to tailor each stay to your dog’s needs, whether that means neighborhood walks, a game of ball in the yard, or relaxed sunbathing outdoors. I work from home in policy and legal work, which allows me to be present, attentive, and responsive throughout the day. A typical day with us is structured, relaxed, and centered around your dog’s comfort and routine. Dogs in our care receive consistent attention rather than long stretches alone. We incorporate regular outdoor breaks, whether that’s playtime in the yard, a neighborhood walk, or simply unwinding together outdoors. Each day balances engagement and rest, with plenty of affection, calm companionship, and responsiveness to your dog’s cues, ensuring they feel secure, settled, and truly at home.
