Hey there! I love animals of all kinds and I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, turtles, fish and even chickens! I am happy to accommodate any special needs or requests that would make your pet feel more at home. I currently do not have any pets of my own since moving to DC but I’m always excited to be given the chance to take care of someone else’s.

Jenna was awesome and took great care of my dog Winston for a whole week! She frequently sent picture updates which I greatly appreciated since I always get nervous leaving Winston. Would definitely recommend her and will use her again next time!
JenniFUR and FURguson love boarding with Jenna! She sent frequent updates and they were beaming with joy in all the photos. She was also great about administering their medicine and monitoring them closely during exercise (poor FURguson has arthritis). I highly recommend Jenna’s services.
Jenna has kept our pup a few times! She is reliable, communicative, and takes great care of our dog. Have used several and would recommend to friends and family.
My dog had a great time with Jenna on his first overnight stay with someone new. He seemed very comfortable the entire stay and she provided great communication and pictures of him throughout. Would definitely have her watch our dog again!
Jenna is wonderful! We had a somewhat complicated drop off situation and she was very accommodating and flexible. She sent updates with photos and made our vacation much less stressful knowing Pono was in great hands!
This was our second time scheduling with Jenna and we will absolutely be back for future pet care needs! Schedule
I currently work from home and I am flexible throughout the day to accommodate your pet’s varying needs. You can expect walks around breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as trips to the dog park if that’s something you and your pup enjoy!

Safety, trust & environment
Creating a comfortable and secure environment tailored to your pets needs is most important to me. Senior and recovering pets can expect full accessibility with the building elevator and paths clear of stairs. Pets who prefer to be alone, can enjoy outdoor time in the private doggy area of the apartment. I am also happy to carry/ use a carrier for any pets that may need that level of assistance. For pups who enjoy plenty of activity, in addition to the private play area, there are two dog parks a few blocks away and a metro branch trail for them to walk/ play/ run to their hearts desire!
A typical day
A typical day would look like whatever your pup is interested in! Regular walks around the neighborhood, a stop at the dog park a few blocks away, play time with toys as well as some down time for naps can be expected. Senior and recovering pets would receive regular short walks and lots of quiet time for rest.
